The next morning I woke up around seven in the morning. I yawned and I looked around my room when I heard soft snores. Oh yeah, right Lando was here..
I put my head back on my pillow and I shut my eyes. I could use some extra sleep. And within minutes I was back in dreamland.
Around nine I woke up from a loud sound of something metal that fell to the floor. I sat up in my bed and I look at the empty spot on my couch. I put my feet onto the ground and I pull on some socks while adjusting my top and sweatpants.
I walk to my door and I open it. A smell of pancakes and burnt air, flew into my nose. Oh my...
I walk straight into the kitchen where I see Lando standing with his back to me. He is shaking the pan with pancakes but the pancake won't come off.
''You should use more butter.'' I say to him.
''Geez!'' He jumps a little in the air, drops the spatula to the floor and he looks behind him. ''I tried to make some pancakes.'' He says as he puts his hand through his messy bed hair. He drops to the ground to pick up the spatula.
''I see.'' I say with a grin.
A sleepy Jade walks into the kitchen and looks at both of us. ''Can you be quiet please, I need some sleep.'' She says as she shuts her eyes.
''Hangover.'' I say in a whisper to Lando as he his face is full of shock.
She opens her eyes again and they became wide open. ''Wait.. What is Lando Norris doing here!?'' She says while looking at me with a big smirk on her lips.
I walk to Jade and I grab her arms, I softly push her to the hall of bedrooms and I shove her softly into her bedroom. ''Goodnight!'' I say while shutting the door right for her face.
I walk back to Lando as he puts the pan into the dishwasher and puts two plates onto the table. ''Do you even like pancakes?'' He says while looking at me.
''Ofcourse Norris, who doesn't love pancakes?'' I say while laughing. He smiles big and he sits in front of me at the table.
''Coffee?'' I say while standing up. He nods and I go make some coffee. I grab some strawberries for on top of the pancakes and I walk back to the table.
''I have a planning for today.'' He says with a mouth full of food. I smile at him while cutting my pancake. ''Are you free the whole day?'' He continues.
''Yes.'' I nod.
''Nice.'' He says while smiling.
''Okay, first we go karting.'' He says as his eyes are looking bright, like a kid in a candyshop. ''Have you done that in your life?'' He continues.
''Ehm... no. But you can teach me everything?'' I say with a sweet smile.
''I will do.'' He says with a wink. My cheeks turn red and I look at my plate. ''After that I will take you out for dinner.'' He says while grabbing his cup of coffee. ''And that's it.'' He says proudly.
''Sounds fun.'' I smile and I look him into his eyes.
''On Saturday night we usually go partying, would you like to join?'' I ask.
''Oh, yes.'' He says soft while eating his last piece of pancake. I know Lando doesn't like parties very much but at the parties we are going to we are always end up to be the last in the building.
A hour later we were dressed and ready to go karting. I grabbed my purse and I shut the frontdoor behind me. We walk to the parking spot of the building and I spot a McLaren 720S.
''Nice car.'' I say with a grin. Lando his smile is bright and he opens the door for me.
''I ofcouse need to be representing my team.'' He says back while he shut the door. I roll with my eyes and I shook my head while I'm laughing. He slides into his seat, shuts his door and starts the car.
The car roars to life and he slowly rides out of the parking spot. He puts on some music and we ride to the karting place.
''Do you like living with your friends?'' Lando blurts out of nowhere. He looks at me, smiles and looks back at the road.
''Yeah, we all are studying in different fields but come home at the end of the day, we always eat together and play games so yes, I like it.'' I say with honesty. Lando nods and he taps with his fingers on the steering weel.
''Do you like living on your own?'' I ask him back.
''Yes, I think so.'' He says as he makes a thinking face. ''First I lived with friends but now I have my own house nearby the McLaren center with all my stuff and my own game room, but sometimes it's quiet..'' He says as he turns right into another road.
I nod and I look out of the window. ''Don't you want a pet to keep you busy?'' I say but I shake my head afterwards. ''No, you can't keep a pet.'' I say while looking at him.
''Yeah, I'm always on the road so a pet is a bad idea.'' He says while pouting with his lips, I start laughing at his face and he starts laughing with me. His dimples came to show on his face.
''Ohh, we're here!'' He says excited. A tall building with a lot of parking lots came into the view, the outside was grey with some blue letters on the front. He parks the car neat in the spot and he jumps out, then runs to my side and he opens the door.
''Madam.'' He says while holding his hand out. He smiles and his tongue hits the both sides of his lips, a habit he does when he's happy or excited.
I grab his hand, step outside the car and just smile at him. ''Thankyou, Mister.'' I say as I close the car door behind me.
Within seconds he starts running with pulling me along him because I'm still holding his hand.
''It's going to be so much fun!'' He yells excited and he walk through the big glass doors of the building. I just shake my head laughing and I smile at the people who look at us weird.
After a while we did some rounds on the circuit, I step outside my car and walk to the bench. I grab my water bottle and I take some sips, I put my helmet of my head and put in on the bench next to me. ''I should have been better trained for this.'' I say out of breath, I take another sip of my water while I look at Lando.
He puts his helmet of his head and laughes. ''You actually are quite good.'' He says smiling. I shake my hair and pat myself on the shoulders. ''Thankyou, thankyou.'' I say, imaging a big crowd in front of me.
''Stop! You are making me laugh.'' He says while laughing out loud, I start laughing at his funny laugh. ''No, you stop it.'' I say while shoving him into his chest.
Lando shakes his head and grabs his phone. He takes a photo of the kart circuit and then turns to me. ''Smile.'' He says while focusing on his phone.
I smile and he takes a photo. ''Okay, I'm keeping this photo for myself, only me.'' He says with a cheeky grin.
''Don't do naughty stuff with it.'' I say while grinning. His mouth forms a 'o' and he shoves me again my shoulder. ''Lau!'' He yells, his cheeks bright red.
''It was a joke!'' I say while laughing. ''You should see your face!!'' I wipe my tears away from my face.
Lando just shakes his head while his cheeks are still bright red. ''Come on, sweet cheeks, another round?'' He says while putting his helmet on. ''Only if you let me win this time!'' I say while putting my helmet on.
''I can't promise anything... but I will do my best.'' Lando says, he walk to me and zips my race overall up to my neck. I start blushing my his action. ''Ready?'' He says.
''Ready!''
