Chapter 51: Let Loose

Benjamin resigned to his fate as a tour guide and sighed.

“Well, I’ll take you both around later then. Right now, I still have an appointment.”

“What are you up to? If you don’t mind me asking?”

Carol asked.

“Coulson’s agent, Daisy, just completed her Terrigenisis yesterday and is still unable to control it so I’m helping her train for now.”

“Sounds interesting. May I join in?”

Sif smiled as she felt curious to see this so-called Inhuman power.

Carol was the same and looked at Benjamin with expectation.

“Well, I don’t really mind.”

“Let us make haste then.”

Sif nodded and left the room.

Benjamin was a bit speechless.

Does she even know where to go?

Benjamin chuckled at the thought and followed her out along with Carol

Soon, Benjamin led them to where Daisy was and introduced the two to her.

“Skye, it has been a while.”

“Lady Sif. It’s been a while indeed. Also, I go by Daisy now.”

“Understood.”

Turns out, the two already knew each other as they had met last year when Sif was tracking down a rogue Asgardian and had the help of SHIELD at that time.

Daisy then turned to Carol who extended her hand toward her.

“Carol Danvers. Nice to meet you.”

Daisy stuttered and turned to Benjamin, wondering why Captain Marvel, of all people, suddenly appeared before her.

“These two will be joining us in training today. If you don’t mind?”

Benjamin asked.

“...I’m not going to fight them…right?”

“Uhh no. Though I said join, they’re mostly just going to watch us.”

“Phew. Then, I don’t have any problems.”

Daisy sighed in relief and nodded.

If she was going to spar with them or something, she’d high-tail it and never look back!

Go against the likes of Captain Marvel? No way that’s happening!

“Alright, let’s go then.”

“Where are we going?”

“Somewhere a bit remote where you can use your powers without the possibility of hurting anyone.”

Benjamin found an uninhabited island somewhere in the Pacific and opened a portal that lead there directly.

Once they all arrived, Benjamin pointed at a mountain away from them and spoke.

“Your first training will be to let loose. See that mountain? Move it.”

“...Are you for real?”

Daisy was speechless.

This…wasn’t this too big!? Can she even do something like that!?

Benjamin nodded.

“Your power doesn’t just shake things. It’s much more than that. Vibrations. Everything in this world vibrates at a certain frequency. What you have is the ability to sense the vibrations and control them as you please.”

He handed her a small rock and continued.

“Close your eyes. Feel the stone in your hands. Feel the earth beneath your feet. Feel the air dancing around you. You should be able to sense it.”

At first, Daisy was a bit skeptical but still did as she was told and closed her eyes as she started to focus on her surroundings.

As she did, she began to feel…everything!

The weird feeling that she has been having but couldn’t understand since transforming into an Inhuman…was it these vibrations?

Benjamin smiled.

“Have you felt it? Then I want you to focus on that feeling on the mountain in front of you…and amplify it!”

Daisy’s eyes were still closed as she frowned and concentrated harder.

As she slowly opened her eyes, she saw…the mountain shake harder! The trees swayed and countless birds flew away in panic!

“I-I did it!”

While she was feeling a sense of accomplishment for moving a mountain, a warm hand patted her shoulder.

“I know you still have some emotions left buried from what happened to your father yesterday. There’s no one here. Feel free to vent out everything. After that, we’ll start the real training.”

“I…”

Daisy’s eyes wavered.

It was true, she still had some unresolved emotions after what happened yesterday but forced herself to calm down in order to not endanger everyone.

Now that Benjamin said this, her emotions started to pour out in the form of her power, causing the island to shake violently as if it was experiencing an earthquake!

Carol and Sif looked at each other in surprise.

This power…is indeed too strong!

If there were more Inhumans with this level of ability…

Benjamin knew what they were thinking from their expressions and chuckled as he shook his head.

“Not all Inhumans are this powerful. Daisy’s a special case. In other terms, she is similar to an Omega-level Mutant.”

“She will be a formidable ally to have.”

Sif nodded.

Benjamin had been controlling Sif and Carol to float along with him so they don’t get caught up with the shaking as they patiently waited for Daisy to finish.

After a few minutes, the shaking stopped and Daisy fell asleep.

Releasing her powers and her emotions like that was both physically and mentally exhausting so it was expected of her to collapse.

Benjamin smiled and waved his hand, controlling the earth and trees to make a house for them to take shelter in.

“Well, I can’t leave her alone like this so we’ll have to postpone the tour to tomorrow. Is that okay?”

“I do not mind.”

“I’m fine too. There’s no hurry. It was interesting to see Inhuman power up close.”

Sif and Carol nodded with a smile.

Benjamin then made a table and some chairs for them and asked.

“What do you guys want for dinner? I’ll portal away and make an order.”

“Your portal thing is really convenient…in that case…can we get some pizza?”

Carol asked.

Benjamin was amused at her request.

Of all things she could ask, she wanted pizza?

Carol chuckled and shrugged.

“I’ve been off-world for a very long time and I’m craving pizza for a long time as well.”

“Haha, is that so? No pizzas in alien planets?”

“Nope! Can you even imagine a world without pizza!? It’s torture!”

Benjamin laughed along with her.

He then turned to Sif and asked.

“How about you, Sif? Any request?”

“Hm, I do not know of this pizza and wish to try it myself as well. Other than that, a hearty meal is not without some drinks. I’d like a taste of Midgard’s alcohol as well.”

Sif answered.

“Pizza and alcohol huh? While we’re at it, want me to get a TV here so we can watch some movies too?”

“Uhh yes! I haven’t watched the next few seasons of the series I’m watching before I left Earth!”

Carol immediately suggested some movies and series to watch while Sif just nodded along.

Benjamin then left to order several boxes of pizza, some wines and beer, and a huge TV and small power generator for them to plug the TV on.

He even bought a comfy sofa and placed it in front of the TV.

It was quite a weird sight to see in a remote location like this but no one was there to see them anyway.

Daisy was in another room in deep sleep and Benjamin also installed some noise-canceling magic formations so they don’t wake her up as they were quite noisy.

Sif seemed to have taken a liking to the pizzas and said she’ll recommend them to the chefs of Asgard.

As for the alcohol, she said it wasn’t as strong as she expected but it was still more flavorful than their meads so she asked if she can get a few more bottles later on for souvenirs.

Then there was the series they were watching right now…

“I do not understand. Those two are siblings are they not? Why are they…”

“Having sex? Well, that’s Game of Thrones for you.”

“How intriguing…”

Sif and Carol chatted as they watched it.

In order to accommodate Sif who knew nothing of the series, they had started from the beginning and saw a scene where a pair of brother and sister was engaging in an incestuous relationship, hence her question.

Carol patiently answered her questions too while Benjamin just listened along.

Benjamin who was drinking at that time nearly choked upon hearing that.

“Before I left, she kept bragging how amazing you are that it’s sickening you know? She even said…even if I joined in, you can still take on the both of us?”

Benjamin was speechless.

Beside him, Sif also turned to him curiously.

“Is that true?”

“Uhh well…”

“I think there’s only one way to find out.”

Carol grinned and suddenly sat on top of his lap.

“Pause the show.”

“...”

Benjamin silently took the remote and hit pause.

It seemed that Carol likes to be in a dominating role.

At the side, Sif’s face blushed slightly but kept watching them while munching on a pizza.

…It seems she’s treating it as a show too…

Carol leaned in on Benjamin and whispered.

“Now…let me see how powerful you are.”

Benjamin didn’t shy away anymore and smiled.

“Are you sure? You…might not be able to handle it.”
