The payload continued through the ghost town. You stopped crying after awhile, more focused on how fucking hot it was. Like, litterally, it felt like you were stuck on the high setting in a microwave.
It didn't help that you were in modest clothing, it was fully covering your arms and legs. Also, you were tied to hot metal that was only getting hotter by the second.
Your head was dizzy. You had a few jobs in a desert while you were in Overwatch, a few soldiers passed out from the heat. So you had a feeling what the dizziness was leading to.
Relief washed over you as you went into the base of The Deadlock Gang. Shade covered your skin, making the simmering feeling of the sun fade away.
The payload stopped while you were still recovering. You were panting as much as you could, it was hard with the bandana over your mouth. You closed your eyes, trying to focus on just staying awake.
The men started un-loading the payload, taking the crates and other things off of it. Ashe walked over to you, kneeling down to untie you from the payload.
After untying you, she noticed that you were battling to stay conscious. She gave you a look of worry and sympathy, she picked you up bridal style and started walking deeper into the base, away from the rest of the gang.
You were way too exhausted to fight back against her, you felt safe, like she would protect and care for you. You rested your head on her chest, breathy heavily.
Conscious was quickly fleeing your body. You were too tired to fight it this time, so you just let yourself fall asleep in Ashes arms.

"Y/n.." a soft voice whispered, but you were too tired to respond, you felt absolutely exhausted. "Y/n, dear.. please wake up.." it called out again, you could feel a hand gently caress cheek.
This time you responded, but not with words, just a groan, telling them you were awake, whoever they were. "Open your eyes, I need to know your ok."
You let your eyes flutter open, your vision was a little hazy, but you were able to make out a face looking down on you. "What happened?" Your voice was scratchy, and you felt like shit.
"You over heated and passed out, guess your not really used to the heat of Arizona, since you've been gone for so long-" you cut them off, sitting up frantically, suddenly realizing what happened and what is happening.
Ashe looked at you, then reached out to touch your shoulder, "Woah, calm down there, sweetheart. I understand you're confused, but I assure you. I'm not the monster you think I am.."
Skepticism filled your eyes, a few looks around the room and you could see you were on a bed in a room, which you guessed was Ashes. "Ok.. Explain.."
She moved from the chair next to the bed that she was sitting on, to the spot on the bed next to you. "Alright, before I do though, please believe me when I say I'm not lying." She held your hands gently in hers.
For some reason, you didn't want move away, maybe because of curiosity, or old you telling you not to move away. She took a deep breath before speaking, knowing it was going to be a lot for her and you.
"Around 10ish years ago, you lived here, I imagine they told you that I was holding you here by force, and you were part of the gang?" She said sadly, and you nodded in response.
"Well, they were wrong, you only told them so you wouldn't get thrown in jail, well, at least that's my guess. You weren't part of the gang.. I know this is hard to believe, but you were my girlfriend.."
You just sat there with wide eyes, taking it what she just said, "wait, wait, wait-... we.. dated?" Ashe smiled and nodded, holding your hands a bit tighter.
"I've missed you so much after all these years, I have no reasom to lie to you." She spoke sweetly, moving one of her hands to caress you cheek.
You looked down, different emotions battling one another. You were happy you found something so important to old you. But on the other side of things, your entire life was a lie, you grew up in your new life thinking you were born to be a hero, but you weren't.
"I understand this is hard for you, all I ask is that you let me help you, I will tell you everything you want to know about your old life, and I'll prove that we really used to be lovers, I promise everything will be ok.."
Seven months later...
You have been living with Ashe for around seven months now. She tried her best to help you remember her, and yourself. No memories came back but she told you enough stories to make it seem like you remembered everything. Even though you didn't know, she left some.. ' certain details' out. (*cough* *cough* burning your town to the ground)
She was kind and caring, nothing like the stories you were told about her. Whenever you needed help, there she was, you could see why old you had fallen for her. And quicker then you expected, new you fell for her too.
At least once a month she would take you to some fancy place for dinner. But little did you know, today was a very special night. Tonight, Ashe would ask you to marry her.. but someone else had other plans.

I was sitting boredly at my desk, there was basically nothing going on, and I had no work to do. I was about to fall asleep when I heard a beeping noise coming from my computers.
I looked up to see a red dot flashing on the map. I did a few code commands then I found out what it was as a picture, name, and call sign showed up.
Quickly, I pulled out my phone and called my boss, after a few seconds they picked up.
"Sombra, what the hell do-"
"No time to be edgy, Gabe. I just located an Overwatch agent." I researched the exact coordinates of where she was.
"Who did you find?"
I smirked, proud of myself, I might get raise, which I desperately need.
Well.. not really, but I still want more money, who doesn't? "I found an agent named Y/n L/n. Aka, Gemini. She was the one with the gun with the symbol on the-"
"Yeah, yeah.. I remember who she is. Where is she?"
I clicked one more button then leaned back in mr chair, "Arizona, I just sent you the coordinates."
"Good. Me and Widowmaker got this one covered.."

Me and Y/n already finished eating, now we're just talking. I tried my best to act normal not wanting give anything away. Though I was so anxious, yet excited.
I didn't know if 7 months into dating was too soon, but I loved her much. I had to wait 10 years to find her, and after all thst waiting, I want to marry her more anything.
We were seated at a private gazebo, looking over a lake at night. The gazebo was only lit by candles. I blushed knowing I did well everytime Y/n gushed about how beautiful it was.
"Hey, Y/n, come here for a second." I stood up and reached my hand out to Y/n. She grasped my hand and stood up with me. I walked over to the end of the gazebo, the side that over looked the lake.
We stood in silent for a few seconds just holding hands taking in the view, but after awhile, I let go of her hand. "There is a legend, if you make wish while standing by this lake, it'll come true."
She smiled and nodded, she looked at the lake then closed her eyes. I slowly backed away from her. I took the box with the ring in it out of my pocket and waited on my knee for her.
After a few moments she finally opened her eyes, "Ashe, what did you wish for-" she turned around, spotting me immediately, a look of shock in her eyes.
"My wish is.." I opened the box, revealing the ring, "Is that you will say yes." She gasped and covered her mouth, I could see tears of joy pricking at the ends of her eyes.
"Y/n, the love if my life.. will you marry me?"
BANG!
Her look of suprise turned to one of horror, her tears falling, soon followed by her body. "Y/n!" I quickly leaped forward, catching her before she touched the ground.
Blood fell onto my arm soon after, I looked at her neck, she was shot directly in the back of her neck. I checked her pulse frantically, praying she was alive.. but no heart beat was found.
I looked up, searching for the killer of Y/n. I saw a woman with a rifle take some sort of goggles off of her eyes before grabbeling away into the forest.
"Y/n.. Y/n.. I'm so sorry... I couldn't protect you.." I sobbed, holding her dead body tightly in my arms, praying it was dream.. but it wasn't, this was real..
