Alex looked at her blankly for quite a while before he nodded. He walked over to the red box and
opened it. The box had been left in the inn previously and had not been taken with them to the
rainforest.
âWhere is it?â
âDrag it over here. Iâll have a look.â
Alex dragged the box over so that Cheryl could see the boxâs contents, but when he turned his head,
he was momentarily stunned. He could see quite the scenery from the doorâs opening.
That beautiful, snowy white hand seemed to be calling out to him.
âIn the zipper bag on the top.â Cheryl stretched out her hand and pointed at it.
Thud!
When Alex pulled open the zipper, a box fell out from it. Alex took a closer look at it, and holy crap, it
turned out to be a box of Durex!
âThis..?â
âWhy do you have something like this?â
Alex was stunned.
Cherylâs face was red, but her eyes glinted with coyness and seductiveness.
It was such an obvious hint. Couldnât he comprehend it?
Idiot!
Her heart thumped wildly in her chest, and she couldnât cahn it down, but she said, âGirls need to know
how to protect themselves. If a certain man canât help himself and am not strong enough to resist,
preparing this would be a form of protection. Donât you think so?â
Alex nodded solemnly. âThat sounds reasonable.â
Then, he shoved the small box back into the bag.
Cheryl was speechless.
âAre you a pig-head?!â
Did he expect her to take it out from the packet and peel it open for him?!
âAlex, I want to ask you a question?â
âGo ahead!â
His hands were still groping around the bag, but he couldnât find anything else. There was nothing in
the bag except the box of Durex.
âAre you still a child?â
âHuh?â Alex was stunned, and he looked at Cheryl with wide eyes and jaw slack.
âDo you know how to use the item in the box?â
A sullen look appeared upon Alexâs face. âDo you think Iâm stupid?â
Cheryl was annoyed and retorted, âBecause you are stupid!â
In the next second, she opened the bathroom door wider and bent her legs, her hands coming up to
cover her front as she asked, âDo you want me to teach you how to use it?â
Boom!
Alexâs head felt like it was about to explode.
He took out the box and tore open the pack. Just as he pulled one out, his phone rang.
âD*mn it!â
What a timing for a phone call!
âYou can take the call first Iâll be waiting inside!â Cheryl said.
If Anna and the others had re turned, then not picking up this call would be a big problem and would
end up an embarrassing situation if they decided to break into the room directly.
Alex hurriedly pulled out his phone.
At first glance, the caller ID showed that it was his mother, Brittany. He still picked it up anyway.
âHello, Mom?â
Unexpectedly, an extremely silvery voice came from the other end, âYour mother is in my hands. Iâll be
waiting for you at Moonlight Lake.â
