Boom! Boom! Boom!
Following Alexâs bellow, more than a dozen lightning fell from the sky. Many tiny lightning nets even
enveloped the entire space.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Multiple bone cracks were heard. Hundreds of skeletons had fallen from the lightning strike. A small
half of them were blown apart, with bones scattered all over the ground.
Alex was slightly proud of it. He winked his left eye at Luna. âLook, arenât they just a pile of dead
bones? I could simply wipe them off in a minute!â
Before his voice fell, the fallen skeletons stood up again. Not only that, the broken, scattered bones
were reconnected. Moreover, they rejoined the force. Even Alex could feel that the strength of the
skeletal soldiers that were electrocuted by him once did not decrease but increased. Surprisingly, they
were even fiercer than before.
Hundreds of crimson red pupils of the hundreds of skeletons were staring straight at Alex.
Jasmine yelled, âRun!â
She turned around abruptly and ran toward the outside of the valley.
At this point, Alex did not dare to show off anymore. He hurriedly pulled Luna along and started running
away. âNo, Dragon Blood Vine⦠We havenât gotten the Dragon Blood Vine!â Luna shouted.
âWeâll find a way to get it later,â said Alex.
âWhat if these skeletons took it? Wouldnât my sister be beyond salvation?â
Speechless, Alex thought, âThese are all skeletons. These guys have a mouth without a tongue and a
sternum without a stomach. Why would they need the Dragon Blood Vine? But, itâs better to be safe
than sorry. If we really lose the Dragon Blood Vine because of this, this trip wouldâve gone wasted!â
âFine then. You attack and cover for me while I go and pluck it,â said Alex loudly.
Just when the skeletons pounced on them, Alex used the Imperial Sword Flight and flew over the
heads of many skeletons.
Strum! Strum! Strum!
Lunaâs Sky-devil Zither sounded.
At first, she thought the weak skeletal monsters would fall apart like how Alex smite them with lightning.
To her surprise, the skeletal monsters seemed to be very insensitive to sound. They had no reaction at
all when they heard the sound from Lunaâs Sky-devil Zither.
Instead, when they saw Alex fly over them to pluck the Dragon Blood Vine, a few skeletons were pulled
and thrown up high by their companions, charging at Alex.
âAlex, be careful!â
Luna was frustrated as her attack turned out to be ineffective.
After alerting Alex, she immediately sent out the Sound Wave of Killing Arc.
The sound could neither disturb the skeletons without eardrums nor affect the souls that might be in
them. However, the Sound Wave of Killing Arc was a real magical attack and it was quite powerful.
Immediately, three skeletons that charged forward burst into pieces. The several other skeletons were
blown away by Alexâs Brahmaâs Supreme Touch.
As the name implied, Dragon Blood Vine was a kind of plant vine. This kind of vine was extremely
peculiar. It was blood red and had glowing blood flowing inside it. When it was cut with a knife, red sap
would flow out from it just like blood.
Time was running short.
Below was a densely packed legion of skeletons, If Alex were to fall into it, the consequences would be
unimaginable.
Alex grabbed the void. With a huge force, he grabbed at least ten vines and forcefully ripped them off,
throwing them into his storage purse. Then, he quickly retreated.
âRun!â
âQuick!â
Alex flew back with the Imperial Sword Flight. He pulled Luna and hurriedly fled toward the outside of
the valley.
The skeletons were too creepy.
They could not kill them no matter how they fought them. Two more would come out after one died, and
more would appear.
At this moment, Jasmine, who had already ran out of the valley, screamed all of a sudden. Something
raised her body high and threw her into the valley.
The two of them stared at the thing and gasped. They could only see a ten meter tall huge skeleton
standing at the exit of the valley.
