How would one put this in words?
Two words, âSo young!â
The legendary Five-star Warlord was just too young.
Alex sat behind Wallace and watched as she walked in from the door. She looked bold and formidable,
graceful with a great posture, and she wore a uniform. It was like looking at someone his age.
Alex immediately used his Third Eye to look over her. The biggest thing he could feel was that the
womanâs Chi was so strong that it even diminished his own, and even with his Third Eye, he couldnât
see anything specific about her physical condition, nor her cultivation level.
Eight strong men followed behind Jade Benmore.
The Chi and blood energy of these people were powerful, like severe floods and fierce beasts. The
strong Chi seemed to gush out from their bodies, and they werenât bothered with suppressing it either.
âEight masters! Definitely top masters!â
âOf these eight, any single one of them could beat me to the ground, and there are eight of them here! I
really canât underestimate the people in the world.â
Alex was very shocked. When he looked at Jade, his eyes were filled with fire as he thought to himself,
âIf even her subordinates are this strong, then how much stronger is she?â
Perhaps it was because Alexâs gaze was too direct and too sharp, Jade could feel it. She whipped her
head around abruptly, her bright eyes locking with Alexâs.
Whoosh!
For an instant, Alex felt as though he was being looked at by gods or Buddha.
Goosebumps appeared on his skin, and all the hairs were standing on the ends. The stress and
pressure he felt were tremendous.
At the same time, the eight subordinates under Jade also instantly spread their senses and glared at
Alex. One of them stepped out fiercely, his body tensed, as though a coil waiting to unsprung at any
time to take Alex down.
Jadeâs safety was paramount for protecting the world, and there was absolutely no room for loss.
Especially now, when she was seriously injured, they couldnât afford to be complacent.
They would rather kill first and ask questions later than make the mistake of letting it go.
âStop!â
Jade held up her hand.
The man who had just been about to take a shot immediately came to a halt as he was abruptly
blocked.
âCommander, thereâs something wrong with the kidâs eyes!â the man said aloud.
Everyone turned to look at Alex.
There were twenty or so famous doctors present and the disciples and assistants they brought along
on top of that. There were nearly fifty people in the room, and all of them looked at Alex angrily.
How dare this kid behave unruly toward the Five-star Warlord? How bold he was!
The person in charge of Michiganâs Military Premier Hospital was also on scene, and he stood up
immediately, pointing at Alexâs nose. âWho are you? Get out!â
Alex frowned. He didnât expect such a twist of events. He had just looked slightly longer at Jade, and
with admiration⦠He wasnât even allowed to look at her?!
Initially, he had a good impression of Lunaâs second aunt. She was, after all, a warrior who killed their
enemies on the front line and was worthy of respect. However, it was too overbearing to be singled out
and targeted after meeting just a short while. The impression he had toward her in his heart dropped
rapidly in an instant.
âWhat do you mean my gaze is wrong? Did I look at something I wasnât supposed to or at someone?â
Alex stood up.
âHow dare you talk back? Speak, who are you, and who let you in?!â The person in charge, who was
also the dean of the hospital named Damian Yoke, said rudely and coldly.
