“Looks like someone’s in a hurry to replace me!” Jade Benmore looked at Petunia Lawrence and

chuckled coldly before waving her hand. “Arrest her!”

Someone immediately ran forward to capture Petunia.

“Jade, what right do you have to arrest me? Do you have an arrest warrant? I’m the wife of the Left-

wing Lieutenant. Even if I really committed a crime, the American government ought to be the ones

arresting me. Who do you think you are?”

“I am the American government,” Jade said.

Everyone in the villa was restrained. Even Michael Lawrence wasn’t spared. However, just as some

people were prepared to seal the cultivation of Michael and the others to tie them up, Michael went

mad again.

Coincidentally, there was a large, magnificent tree nearby. Michael let out a loud cry before charging

over to hug the tree.

“Fairy Doctor, I miss you so much. Did you miss me? Mwah…” he said with a smile on his face.

Michael kissed the tree.

Everyone was now shocked. “What is this guy doing? Does he think this tree is Fairy Doctor? Oh dear,

it’s certainly an eye-sore!” Nora Stewart gasped while covering her mouth.

Jade recalled the hypnosis Alex Rockefeller had told her about previously.

She glared at Michael.

“Is this the result of your hypnosis on him? This explains why Colton got so angry,” she growled.

“What? You did this, Alex!” Nora exclaimed. “It’s actually hypnosis! Michael’s cultivation isn’t weak, and

he has rather robust mental strength too. If you can cause him to be in this state, how strong could your

hypnosis actually be?”

“I can try it on you,” Alex said.

Nora did want to give it a try, but after thinking about how powerful Alex’s medical skills were, she felt

too afraid to do it. This fellow had never been fond of her. If he did something inappropriate after

hypnotizing her, she’d be the one to face the loss.

“Commander Laika, stay here and watch over these people. The rest of you, come with me to find

Colton,” Jade said.

Meanwhile, the high-level Flying Eagles members were having a meeting.

Colton Lawrence started to make things difficult for others. “The Flying Eagles has always followed the

rule of following the strongest leader since its establishment. This is also how it is done in the martial

arts realm. Only the strongest martial artist can become the commander of the Flying Eagles. The rest

is just bullsh*t.”

“Hence, I suggest we have a match in the ring. Whoever wins will become the commander!” he added.

As soon as Colton said this, someone from the American government disagreed. “Flying Eagles’

commander should be someone who prioritizes the big picture and should have the ability to command

troops in battle. How could we solely depend on martial arts? Having that doesn’t define what a

commander is.”

Colton emitted a robust and imposing aura. Immense pressure swept over that person like a tsunami.

In the next second, he spat blood out of his mouth and collapsed on the ground.

He looked at Colton with a terrified expression. “I’m an American high-level government official. In

terms of ranking, you’re below me. How dare you attack me? Aren’t you afraid of instant prosecution?”

Colton laughed out loudly. “Prosecute me? You’re nothing but an ant. How are you going to kill me?

You can’t even stand my glare, yet you still think of influencing the next commander of the Flying

Eagles?”

Colton lifted his hand and sucked the person over. “Have you stepped through the ancient boundary

before? Do you know that there are many areas inside that you’ll never enter in your lifetime? As soon

as you go in, you’ll die. Please enlighten me. Can someone like this become the commander? Wouldn’t

it be suicidal for an amateur to lead a group of experts?”

The American government official was tossed to the ground forcefully. Blood gushed out from his

mouth and nose, and he couldn’t get up after a long while.

“Even if he’s wrong, Colton, you didn’t have to hurt him like this, did you?” a woman asked. She was

Gael Dorsey, Jade’s military counselor.

However, Gael too disliked the government’s people interfering with who should become the

commander.

Colton wasn’t wrong when he said that amateurs shouldn’t command the experts. It was a huge

mistake in the army. Those big bosses slacking off in air conditioned rooms might give the random

order, but the ones who would die were the soldiers on the battlefields.

Despite that, Colton was a cold-hearted and ambitious man. Instead of letting him become the

commander, it’d be better to let someone from the American government take the position.

Colton laughed. “It’s my fault then. I didn’t even use much force, and he’s already so badly wounded.

Alright, I’ll apologize for this. I’m sorry, sir. I shouldn’t have looked at you with my eyes. It’s because you

truly are too weak. I didn’t even think that you couldn’t stand me looking at you. I must bow and

apologize,” he said.
