The group had reached the mountain range in just a few seconds. It was Alex, Martiny, Fairy Doctor,
and Drake.
âSister, could Izanami Shrine be located within Mount Fuji?â Fairy Doctor asked in surprise.
Since Martiny was Hilbertâs wife, and Dawn was Hilbertâs sworn sister, calling Martiny her sister was
technically correct as well.
Martiny nodded. âThatâs right.â
She then turned to Drake. âUncle Drake, youâve used up too much of your energy, and itâll take quite
some time for you to rejuvenate. So you shouldnât go in with us, Iâve brought the Exorcism Bell, so it
wouldnât be much of a problem there.â
Drake bowed to her. âYes miss!â
It was currently snowing heavily in Mount Fuji, but such frigid temperatures didnât bother them one bit.
âFollow me!â Martiny walked to a pond.
At the time, the surface had completely frozen over and was even covered in snow as well. If it werenât
for Martiny leading the way, they couldnât have possibly found this place.
The entire place looked the same as everywhere else since it was entirely covered by snow.
âItâs underneath this?â Alex asked.
âThatâs right!â Martiny turned to the two. âThis frozen pond is the only way to get under this mountain,
and thatâs where Izanami Shrine is. From what weâve collected the past few days, there must be an
underground city here. This might be where the Blood Cultâs headquarters are.â
âAre there any enemies here?â asked Fairy Doctor.
Martiny shook her head. âWe didnât see any.â
âHow did you get so badly injured then?â
âThereâs a big snake underneath the pond, youâll see when we get there.â
After that, Martiny smashed the frozen surface open with her palm.
Crack⦠crack!
Crash!!!
The surface instantly smashed into pieces.
Back when she first escaped, Maternity had actually smashed the surface open already. However, the
weather was way too cold and the lake froze up again.
Martiny asked. âAre you guys ready? That beast might lunge at us as soon as we go down there.â
Alex took out the Sword of Universe, then decided to take out the Seven Blades of Death as well.
Dawn, on the other hand, took out the Demon Tower Prison.
âLetâs go!â
Martiny took the lead and jumped in first, followed by Fairy Doctor.
Using his Chi to protect his body, Alex jumped right in as well.
The water was icy, but the trioâs clothes remained dry. Following Martiny all the way, they werenât sure
how long they had to swim down. However, they moved rather swiftly, as if they were fishes that lived in
the ocean.
Alex felt as if they had swum for tens of thousands of meters. Although he could still handle the water
pressure, he was beginning to get quite uncomfortable, especially his eardrums. His ears were ringing
to the point that he had to use his Chi to further protect his eardrums.
Just as he was about to ask Martiny when theyâd be able to reach their destination, he felt a very strong
flow of sinister Chi, along with some demonic Chi.
âSomethingâs coming!â Martiny halted. âItâs that beast, just lookâ
Alex and Fairy Doctor looked toward where she pointed, there seemed to be a large black ball of things
wriggling around. They initially thought that it was some stone wall, only to realize that it was an eight-
headed snake as large as a mountain.
Fairy Doctor shrieked.
âSister, is this the mythical Orochi of Japan?!â
