âShe⦠Gave birth?â
Upon hearing the infantâs cries, Alex could sense that they were connected by blood, and it moved his
heart instantly in a special way. It was a fascinating feeling. It felt as if he was a brand new version of
himself as if his life had continued.
He couldnât care less about the changes within his golden core and rushed over. Instantly, he saw
Daya, who seemed to be very weak. Her forehead was drenched in sweat, and her face was even
covered in bloodstains.
In her arms was a tiny, fair skinned baby, crying loudly.
He stopped in his tracks, not knowing what to do as the father. He approached them slowly as his eyes
nervously fixated themselves on the baby girl. He reached out his arms, but he didnât know how to pick
her up.
Alex touched Dayaâs face instead, placing his forehead on hers and kissing her on the lips.
He could feel the pain she had to go through.
âHow did you manage to give birth in such a short time? You must be tired, huh?â
âA little, but this is the happiest day ever! We couldnât bear a child in our previous life and the life before
that. But now, our wish has come true!â
Alex didnât know what to say.
âHubby, do you remember who I am now?â
Alex looked at her as their eyes locked, their mental power synchronized in the air, forming a powerful
magnetic field in the area.
Although Alex had robust mental strength, Dayaâs was even stronger. The two seemed to be
communicating telepathically. Every string of mental power seemed to be flowing with color, merging
into one and transforming into a large memory cocoon. This cocoon wrapped the two⦠No, the three of
them up.
Suddenly, Alex saw the followingâ¦
A large hall was located in the middle of a mountain range. It was filled with fairy energy as the stars
shone brightly in the sky. A grand wedding was being held in the area.
The bride wore a gorgeous white wedding gown. Looking tremendously elegant, her beauty exceeded
all. Throngs of guests gathered, and most were very powerful figures as well.
A saint rode a large crane over while a deity arrived in a carriage pulled by nine dragons. Influential
members of certain clans had even ridden the wind just to give their blessings to the newlywedsâ¦
Presents were piled up in a large plaza as well.
The bride had a luscious body, and with her face shrouded by a white veil, none could see how she
looked. Next to her was the groom. Even his back was more than enough to tell that he was dashing,
his aura intense.
âDo you⦠Take⦠As your lawfully wedded wife?â
âI do!â
âDo you⦠Take⦠As your lawfully wedded husband?â
âI do!â
âYou may now kiss the bride!â
As they were about to kiss, a sudden gust of wind blew into the hall. A young girl barged in and
whispered something into the groomâs ear.
The groom seemed shocked. He hesitated for a moment. Then, after whispering something into the
brideâs car, he leaped into the skies, leaving the bride alone in the hall to face all the guests on her
own.
She immediately lifted her veil and revealed her exceptionally gorgeous face. Her expression, however,
was that of mixed feelings.
After a closer inspection, Alex jumped in surprise. That bride was Daya.
He tried to get a better look at the groom in the flashback, but he just couldnât seem to get a good view
of his face. So he couldnât identify the man.
Then, the flashback ended right there.
His whirlpool of emotions slowly calmed as he turned to look at Daya. âI saw⦠I saw the groom leaving
you at the wedding. Was⦠That your past life? I couldnât tell who the groom was, though. Who was
he? Donât tell me he wasâ¦â
âThatâs right. Itâs you.â
âSo it is meâ¦â
Alex was shocked, but he couldnât remember this at all, as if some unknown power was sealing the
memories from his past lives. Back then, he had never needed to look into such memories, but with
Dayaâs telepathy, he could suddenly sense all of these.
He clutched his head. A sharp pain struck him like a freight train within his skull.
