Boom!

Eleanor was furious after hearing what Darnic said.

“Darnic, you’re really the most shameless, useless, and unmanly Flying Eagles I’ve ever met. And

you’re even their commander! What else do you know other than abusing your power? You’re actually

blaming all of this on Jade? Don’t you have any shame in saying this?”

“Not to mention Jade’s been missing for an entire week. How would she get to know these shitty plans

of yours? You just want to find someone to blame. As commander, you can’t even get into the ancient

boundary. Now, you want to lead the war? Are you stupid?”

Deeply embarrassed, Darnic directed his anger towards Eleanor.

“Eleanor Curtis! I am the commander of the Flying Eagles!” he yelled. “How dare you talk to me like

that? Do you want to get fired?”

Eleanor sneered. “I quit then. You really think I like this job? America will come to an end thanks to your

sort of trash.”

When Eleanor was done berating, she grabbed her identity token, slammed it onto the table, and

turned to leave.

“Hold on!” shouted Darnic.

“What?” Eleanor answered.

Darnic’s expression was dark and cold now. “Eleanor. So you’re Jade’s best friend, aren’t you? Jade

went missing a week ago, so of course, she didn’t know the plans of the Flying Eagles. However, you,

the counselor, could ‘ve easily known about our strategies, so…”

Not waiting for him to finish, Eleanor’s chest puffed out in anger. “So, you think I told Jade? And jade

told the demon tribe?!”

“Isn’t that it?”

“Hahaha! ” Eleanor scoffed in disbelief. “Darnic, who do you think I am? What kind of person do you

see Jade as? You’re just a maggot compared to her. You don’t even deserve to be in her presence. You

make me sick!”

Now furious, Darnic bellowed, “Someone come over! Eleanor is a traitor of the Flying Eagles! She and

Jade have colluded with the demon tribe! They should be sentenced to death. Capture her, and if she

dares fight back, kill her!”

Eleanor glared at him coldly. “You want to kill me?”

“Why? Can’t I? Eleanor Curtis, I’m the commander of the Flying Eagles, so I control everything here.

Who are you? You’re just a lowly b*tch, yet you dare be so arrogant in front of me.”

Boom!

Eleanor kicked Darnic right on his chest, sending him flying to the back.

The other Flying Eagles who had just arrived were shocked to see a situation like that. These two

visitors weren’t sent by the officials but were people who worked with Eleanor for years.

“Eleanor! What happened?” asked one of them.

Eleanor smashed the table with her foot. “The Flying Eagles is not what it once used to be. It has been

used for someone’s personal gain. I quit! Yacoub, are you going to follow his orders and kill me too?”

Yacoub’s eyes reddened immediately. He suddenly pulled his identity token from his neck and threw it

to the floor.

He cried, “If it weren’t for you and Commander Benmore, Eleanor, I would’ve been dead for a long time.

Hahaha! When Commander Benmore was chased away, I wanted to leave too. But I stayed back for

you. Who wants to take care of this fool? I quit too! I’ll follow you wherever you go from now.”

The others threw their tokens down as well, shouting. “I quit! The current Flying Eagles treats us like

we are not humans! Commander Benmore was such a good person. He fought for many years for the

people of the golden era. How did she end up? She’s now called a b*tch! Is there still justice in this

world?”

“Let’s leave! We won’t tolerate this anymore!”

The soldiers of the Flying Eagles had faith in their hearts, and that faith was in jade. Many clearly knew

that Jade had been forced away, but their military counselor was still here. Considering Eleanor was

closest to Jade, everyone hoped for Jade’s

comeback, but…

To their surprise, the officials issued a warrant for Jade to be arrested. That was the last straw for the

soldiers. Only those who’ve been to the ancient boundary could truly understand war’s savagery and

how Jade’s bravery became the mental support for countless soldiers.

She was like the Goddess of War. As long as she was there, the soldiers would have the will to fight

on, and victory would always be on the Flying Eagles’ side.
