Alex glanced at Aesop.

He spoke in a low, muffled tone, âDidnât you say you couldnât give birth?â
Jade replied, âThatâs because youâre useless. If itâs my disciple, it should be fine.â

Gilbert could no longer hold it back anymore and burst into laughter.
Alex could already feel that Xerxes was about to blow his top, yet he didnât want to carry the blame for
this matter. Alex had known well previously whether or not Jade still held Xerxes in her heart. Jade was
merely trying to provoke him right now.
Just then, someone entered the ancient force field.
Alex quickly took the chance to push Jade away and said, âMaster, someone is coming.â
The incoming person was the tactician, Eleanor Curtis. Several experts who used to be in the Flying
Eagles followed behind her.
Among them were Butcher, Bunty, Danseur, Nora Stewart and so on. Basically all the surviving
members under Jadeâs team whom Alex had known before were there.

Nora rushed forward and hugged Jade.
Bunty also rushed forward, but she pulled Alex into a hug instead.
