âAhhh!â
Boom, boom, boom!
Dolores started banging on the cauldron over and over again. She finally realized that she was in
danger, and with the Chaos tree, Alex managed to take complete control over her cauldron. Now that
he had taken over, she was completely trapped.
On the other hand, Alex surprisingly found out that the cauldron was an alchemical furnace without a
lid. However, it was made out of rare materials, so it would be considered a unique mystical tool that
was basically priceless.
âHeavenly Immortal-slaying Formation; Seal!â Alex roared as he formed a talisman in his hands,
sealing the cauldron completely with the sword heart.
With this, Dolores was out of luck.
Alex laughed again. âHow about now? Are you still going to threaten me, hmm? And you call yourself a
divine peacock beast? Oh please, youâre just an edible old hen! Well, if you donât want to be cooked
alive, I could just make you into peacock pills. Theyâd definitely come out great.â
Pigsy protested. âHey, what do you mean by making her into pills? I just want to eat some chicken. I
heard these old hens are pretty nutritious and that theyâre good for your kidneys.â
Two hours later, the sacred nun of Peacock Mountain passed away.

In the end, Alex buried Dolores away since she didnât show her true form. It was likely that she couldnât
do so as the cauldron was too small. She would be three times larger than Sam if she did, which would
be impossible for the cauldron to hold.
Hence, he decided to⦠Leave her human form alone. He even went as far as to stop Pigsy from eating
her, no matter how much it wanted to.
They could only find two spatial rings on Dolores and Samâs corpses, but there were quite a few items
in there. Hence, they still managed to profit out of this situation. The most valuable item was none other
and the cauldron, as it was half an alchemical furnace. Although incomplete, it still managed to take the
diving lightning hundreds of times. It was definitely an extraordinary treasure.
The Mystic Maiden had been standing before the concrete house this whole while, watching the battle
outside.
As if she were taking a stroll in the garden, she walked over slowly and checked on Alex. âLooks like
you took control over this super formation. Hmm⦠interesting. And that woman in a red dress on the
bed. You wanted to smack her butt, yet she still chose you.â
Alex asked, âSo you guys didnât enter her mental world? Did you not see that shocking battle?â
Mystic Maiden and Pigsy both shook their heads in response.
Alex told them everything he knew. It wasnât anything top secret, and it might affect the safety of the
whole of America.
âThe Olympian Army?â
âThe awakening of the saintly grotuids of Mount Oro?â Mystic Maiden was unfamiliar with the Olympian
Army. She hadnât even heard about it before this, but after hearing that Mount Oro would be awakened,
she expressed her intentions to go there as one might be given an amazing chance.
As for the treasure-hunting pig, Mystic Maiden would still drag it along, no matter how much it refused
to go with her. With their sense of smell, they would easily take over half of the saintly grounds.
âBut how do we even go to the Wasteland?â Pigsy asked. âWeâd have to go through the Endless Sea
from here. And thatâs no joke! Even a Heavenly King might die there. Itâd be a death wish if we
nobodies tried to even take a single step in there.â
Alex narrowed his eyes. He just had to go back, no matter the consequence. That was because Cheryl
told him that his father had gone back home.
However, his condition was worsening, and his life was in grave danger. Hence, he knew that he had to
rush home, even if it would be hard.
In the end, he came up with an idea.
âThereâs a lot of Undead beasts in this formation. Like, the ones that were killed during the battle in
ancient times. Now, these corpses are being possessed by the spirits of the Einherjars who died in
war.â
âEven now, these beasts still contain the Chi of the Undead, so they would be seen as one of them if
they wandered about the Endless Sea. As long as we hide in the stomach of one of these beasts, we
might just make it through in one piece.â
