Braelynâs expression became grim. She remembered what the sacred nun had done in the past, so she
wasnât sure about that either. Suddenly, they received a call from the tribe.
Since this was a communication tool from ancient times, it wasnât quite advanced technology. Despite
this, it did have interesting functions, where one could make calls with it as if it were a phone.
However, the message they received was that⦠The sacred nun had fallen.
The two peacocks were shocked. Braelyn immediately reported everything that happened there to the
Grand Elder in detail.
Upon hearing this, the Grand Elder thumped her chest and stomped her feet. âRidiculous, utterly
ridiculous! Doesnât she know what the Endless Sea is? Even a Heavenly King could die in there! Sheâ¦
Why would she even dare to rush in like that?â
They thought they understood the entire situation, as no one believed that Dolores and Sam were killed
by Alex.
âShe mustâve been killed by the Undead beasts in the Endless Sea.â
âBut how do we look for her body in there? Weâd be dead meat for sure!â
The four guardians were starting to hesitate as well. They stood still with a frown, unwilling to retrieve
the body.
In the end, the Grand Elder of Peacock Mountain decided that it was best to give up on Doloresâ
corpse. However, she had to find out how her granddaughter died.
âOur tribe has a Spiritual Pearl!â
âShow me Doloresâ last moments! I have to see who killed her for myself! We Peacocks will seize the
Endless Sea one day!â
After a short while, one of the Elders brought out a gem, the Spiritual Pearl. It was a colorful pearl that
was the size of an infantâs head, brimming with glowing glory.
The Grand Elder, on the other hand, brought the Soul Stone connected to Dolores. Since there were
still small fragments of her soul markings within, they were able to insert this marking into the pearl.
Just then, a disgusting scene appeared right in front of the tribeâs eyes. They saw a man and a pig
eating barbeque together. The meat they were consuming was Samâs body.
âAhhh! This is just preposterous!â
One of the peacocks couldnât bear watching this any longer. They started vomiting blood and collapsed
to the ground. Another few were so enraged that they began throwing up blood as well.
âThe noble Peacock tribe, known as divine beasts, had ended up as someoneâs meal! just how
humiliating and insulting could this be?â
However, something even more ridiculous happened later on.
Since this flashback was from Doloresâ point of view, they saw that she was in a large pot of water. The
water was boiling, meaning that the sacred nun was being cooked by someone.
They then saw a man and a pig, fanning the flames with each passing second. Moreover, several
lightning bolts struck down, caused by the divine lightning of Kalpa.
Dolores had used all the treasures on her to save herself, yet they were all blasted by the divine
lightning. With Doloresâ powers, it was impossible to boil her alive. However, the main culprit was her
own cauldron.
The cauldron was part of an alchemical stove, so Alex could control it using his Elixir Fire since he was
a master alchemist. The stove had multiple formations formed from mysterious and odd talismans;
hence he managed to restrict Dolores and seal her powers away.
That was how she was cooked alive,
âAhh!!!â
The Grand Elder of Peacock Mountain was so mad that she vomited a mouthful of blood as well.
Everyone in the tribe was infuriated. They felt their hearts were being cut open, not to mention that they
mostly vomited blood as well.
âWe have to kill both that man and pig!â
At the time, Alex and Pigsy were standing in front of a golden tree, drooling lazily.
