“What’s that tree?”

“I don’t know either, but I bet it’s an ancient tree. The fruit looks really tempting too. Heck, I’m already

drooling just by smelling them! My stomach is rumbling too.”

Alex and Pigsy were stretching their necks, staring straight at the ripe fruit on the tree. The fruit looked

like a golden pear, brimming with a divine glow.

Alex smiled. “I suddenly thought of a random legend, the one where Pigsy ate a ginseng fruit. I heard

that ginseng fruit was similar to this pear. It was golden and shiny, but it looked like a small person. And

it’s said that smelling it was enough to grant an extra three hundred and sixty more years to one’s life.

Eating one would help prolong one’s life by forty seven thousand years.”

The pig widened its eyes. “Really?”

Alex replied, “Nah, I made it up.”

He then turned to Mystic Maiden, who was standing behind him. “Have you heard of the ginseng fruit?”

“Nope, but this is definitely not that,” Mystic Maiden replied.

Alex asked, “How are you so sure?”

Mystic Maiden lifted her chin and turned away arrogantly. “That’s because I know about this tree. It’s

called the Steel Pear Tree, and the fruit is obviously called the Steel Pear. It’s basically a rare, divine

tree, a prehistoric mutant.”

“Oh and, these pears are actually a good medium for you to train on your Old Cow’s Breathing

Technique. You could even make your organs achieve the Invincible Steel stage.”

Upon hearing this, Alex immediately plucked one down and bit down without hesitation. It was very

juicy and sweet, it was absolutely delicious.

“Mmh! It’s so sweet. Would you like one too?” Alex asked the Mystic Maiden.

She shook her head. “My current body is not pure enough, and it’s still in training. The quality of these

things is not the same as Chaos energy. If I ate it, it would only harm me.”

Alex didn’t hold back and straight up ate three of the pears. Under the guidance of the Mystic Maiden,

he ate a Stardew fruit as well. After consuming the fruit, he started working on his breathing

techniques. Along with this training, his body started moving as well, practicing his punches on the

ground.

The martial art was the Dragon-Tusk punch that he secretly learned from Anna. However, he had been

making constant changes and refinements towards it. Hence, it was no longer the original version at

this point.

His version was able to fill one’s punches with both a dragon and elephant’s power. Moreover, a

phantom shadow of a dragon and elephant would appear behind them when used.

He felt that this martial art was quite powerful already. ‘If I showed this to the Colemans, they would

definitely be surprised.’

“Looks like I have the potential to start a martial arts clan!” Alex was satisfied with his work yet was

crushed the next second.

The Mystic Maiden burst out in laughter. “What kind of messy doggy crawl are you trying to do? Your

dragon doesn’t even look like one, and there’s a puppy running around. Embarrassing.”

‘A puppy… Running around?’

Alex could feel his veins popping. “Are you blind? That’s an elephant. Look closely.”

“If you think so, then you haven’t really seen an actual elephant.” The Mystic Maiden said, “Oh well, I

chose you to be my little minion. And you’d be damaging my reputation if you’re too weak. I’ll just have

to show you what exactly is a dragon and an elephant.”

She pointed in between Alex’s eyebrows with her slender fingers since she didn’t want to show her

techniques to anyone else. The Mystic Maiden gave Alex two images. One was a dragon while the

other was an elephant.

The first image that Alex saw was the dragon. He was immediately intrigued by the image as soon as

he laid eyes upon it, as if it was trying to absorb all his attention to it.

The dragon looked surreal. Alex even realized that it was alive upon closer inspection.

Alex had seen dragons before, he even had a Benares Dragon on him, who was a royalty in her

bloodline. However, Neela was way too tame and gentle compared to this dragon in front of his eyes.

The dragon had an intense aura surrounding it as if nothing could ever compare to it. It was so

immensely powerful that any human would feel weak in their knees just by looking at it. One’s heart

and soul would quiver in fear, falling to the ground while feeling blinded by this entity.
