Alex informed Mystic Maiden and Pigsy about the issue and rushed toward the ghost sharkâs back. He
also stayed in contact with Ynes the whole way over in order to get a grasp on her situation. The two
who were currently chasing after her right now were from the Peacock tribe.
They werenât all that powerful, and they had quite a large difference compared to a great Golden
Immortal demon. The two were most likely slightly more powerful than ninth realm to Imminent
Immortal, closing into Immortalization.
âTwo Immortals⦠Would I be able to kill them off with my current powers?â
In the end, he figured that they could still escape even if he couldnât kill them. It was fortunate that his

At the time, the two Immortal peacocks headed towards the Endless Sea as they continued to chase
after Ynes. Seeing that she was still running in a straight line and deeper into the sea, they were
frightened, hesitating if they should continue going after her.
One of them shouted. âHey, human girl! The Endless Sea is very dangerous! If you end up in the hands
of the Undead, you will suffer a fate worse than death.â
âWhy donât you just come with us and weâll grant you a swift death. Weâll even pick a nice burial site for
you, or we could just destroy your entire clan.â
Ynes had been wanted by the Yorkshire Palace this whole time, and even her master Breena. For
some reason, Breena found out that she was learning the forgotten martial arts of their clan, which was
why she had to hunt her down, even if she had to travel to the edges of the world to take it from her.
This made Ynes extremely sad. The fact that she had to escape death repeatedly changed her attitude
towards her clan drastically.
She didnât even look back as she yelled. âAlright then! Go destroy it however you please! And thank
you for that. Theyâre not far behind us!â
At the time, the members of Yorkshire Palace were chasing after her too. The peacocks just came
along midway through this chase and were way faster than them.
It was fortunate that she learned the forgotten secret spells, along with everything else she was trained
in. With this, Ynes was able to improve her skills and power; thus, her speed was ten times faster than
before. She wouldâve been captured long ago otherwise. However, she couldnât help but panic because
the peacocks were much faster than her.
âUgh, itâs your fault for not listening, you disgusting wh*re! When we get our hands on you, I swear Iâd
crack your skull open and pour hot boiling oil into you to eat your brain!â one of the peacocks yelled out
angrily.
Ynes shuddered upon hearing that. Realizing that they were getting nearer, she threw two pieces of
lightning crystals.
It released a massive explosion as loud as thunder, blocking their path.
After that, she screamed, âYou peacocks only target the weak! Youâre all just pitiful losers! I was
kidnapped by Rockefeller, and none of you were able to protect the fiance of your people! Not only are
you refusing to hunt down the strong enemy, but youâre trying to kill me!â
âYou peacocks could never become an ancient divine tribe because youâre all cowards! Youâre all
insolent idiots!â
âDamn you!â the peacocks yelled in unison.
Just then, a hundred meter long Ghost Shark leaped out from the deep sea at great speed. The three
were absolutely shocked.
âAn Undead beast?!â
Ynes could feel her heart jumping out of her throat. She was the nearest to the ghost shark, after all.
She could even see its bones that were exposed in the air.
In just a few seconds, she noticed Alex was standing on its back.
âSave me, darling! They want to kill me!â she yelled out to him.
