Other than turning blue from anger, Kerryâs expression remained calm towards Alexâs sudden attack.
She was full of confidence. The oil-paper umbrella she held fonned a solid defensive barrier.
A Divine Envoy of Mount Olympus had even tried but couldnât break through her defense.
Furthermore, itâd been rumored that that particular Divine Envoy had surpassed the Tribulation
Crossing. He was a true fairy.
As Alex got near, Kerry said calmly, âDonât waste your energy. Your attack wonât hurt me.â
Boom!
Alex ignored her and sent a punch on the barrier. The barrier shook violently, and a blue light screen
expanded to the skies. Still, the barrier didnât break. It was indeed very robust.
Kerry shook her head. âDo you believe me now? Can we just talk?â
Alex tilted his head. âI havenât even started!â
âItâs pointless unless youâre a true fairy because this barrier of mine contains law power.â
âAnd what if I succeed? Want to make a bet? If I were to penetrateâ¦â
Kerry didnât know what to respond to that. She felt Alex was assaulting her with his words. âWhat does
he mean by that?â
On the other hand, Alex truly had no other intentions.
Unfortunately, Pigsy had to butt in and say, âAlex, if you were to penetrate her, that kiddo wouldnât know
if he should call you brother-in-law or uncle-in-law. Arenât you just making things hard for him? In my
opinion, you should take that kid in as well. Then theyâll all call you husband!â
Kerry was furious. âIf you could penetrate me, Iâll do whatever you want!â
Only then did she realize her mistake of words. The anger had gotten to her, and she wasnât thinking
straight. She quickly amended, âI meant if you could penetrate through my barrier.â
Alex nodded. âTake a good look then!â
Boom!
This time, he used Bodhiâs Dragon-Tusk punch. As he sent out the punch, both a dragon and elephant
appeared behind his back, a Buddhist melody surrounded him, along with the power of laws supporting
him.
Kerry grasped onto the umbrella. She felt uneasy and alarmed this time. However, her subconscious
refused to believe her instincts.
âThis umbrella is an innate spiritual treasure!â
Unfortunately, the result wasâ¦
A loud explosion ruptured in the air.
The defensive barrier of the Whispers of Water broke into pieces upon this strong punch. The blue
screen broke down into small pieces of energy. Surprisingly, the oil paper umbrella in Kerryâs hand let
out a sorrowful cry and tried escaping her grasp, flying towards the air.
âYouâre running? Too late, though!â Alex moved swiftly and came straight to the top of the umbrella as
he punched downward.
As the oil paper umbrella was attacked. It let out another painful scream and dropped to the ground.
Alex landed and picked it up. His eyes lit up as he nodded in approval. âThis is a pretty good umbrella.
Too bad its potential was wasted in your hands. You canât bring out the best of it with your abilities.â
With that, be tossed the oil-paper umbrella to Maya.
Maya had water-attributed spiritual roots. She also practiced martial art techniques with water attributes
like the Silver Frost, so she was highly compatible with the oil-paper umbrella.
Even if Maya werenât quite that strong now, this umbrella would be the perfect weapon for her after she
improved.
Kerryâs heart ached.
