Her precious umbrella was given away to someone else just like that.
âYou⦠Give that back!â She growled resentfully, even though she knew that it was impossible to
retrieve it now.
âEven you are in my possession now, so this umbrella belongs to me as well. Donât even think about
taking it back.â Alex said with a smile.
He stroked his chin as he thought more about it. âAn ancient family sure has valuable stuff!â
In a span of less than half a day, the treasures he snatched from the Hancock family had increased his
powers considerably. The Tom Kasaya, Sakyamuniâs Wooden Fish, and now this Whispers of Water
Umbrella were all rare possessions.
He had spent half a year in the great world, facing numerous dangers, yet he could only attain a few
decent treasures, each of which he risked his life for. It was way easier robbing the rich.
âEven though itâs kinda immoral, in order to face the disaster in three years, this is inevitable!â
The way Alex stroked his chin seemed scary in Kerryâs eyes. She thought Alex was thinking about
something sexual, like penetrating her. She wanted to run away immediately.
However, Alex sent her to the ground in one hit, causing her to be unable to get up.

When Shirley woke up, she felt her head ache. It was the after-effects of getting hit unconscious. She
rubbed her temples but immediately became stunned.
She noticed that her family, Kerry, Samuel, and Freesia were all captured in a room. They were all tied
up tightly and thrown on a bed.
The two meter wide bed seemed quite crowded.
âWhat happened?â
âAunt? Samuel? Freesia?â
Kerry and Samuel were still out cold, especially Samuel, who Pigsy had hit real hard. His face was full
of bruises, and he had no one to tend to his broken bones.
Kerryâs face was quite bruised, too, as if it had been trampled. And the footprint looked like⦠A pigâs
trotter.
Freesia was in the worst state. Her face was full of⦠Hoof prints.
It was her own fault that sheâd wanted braised pig trotters. Pigsy was someone who held onto grudges,
and although Alex wanted her alive, that didnât keep him from letting out his anger.
So, the pig stomped on Freesiaâs face, especially around her mouth, which had hundreds of marks.
The marks overlapped one another, leaving no spot on the skin unharmed.
If it werenât for the defensive treasure, Freesia mightâve been kicked to death.
Even so, her face swelled to the size of a pigâs head. She looked completely different. If Shirley wasnât
that familiar with her sister, she might not have recognized her.
âFreesia, Freesia, wake up! How are you feeling?â
âOh god, who beat you up like that?â
Freesia woke up to a mirror on the wall right in front of her. She immediately saw how she looked and
was instantly aghast with terror.
âIt must be that pig head! That damned pig head! Ouch, it hurts! Sis, could you get my brother-in-law
over and release me? I want to go home!â
Shirley was speechless.
After quite some time, Kerry and Samuel woke up as well. The family whimpered and sobbed upon
reunion. Samuel even shed some tears. His heart ached at his sisterâs encounter. Surely, she had him
obsessed.
Just then, Freesia said, âLook, guys, thereâs a phone. Letâs use it to call grandpa!â
Samuel said, âWeâre all tied up, and we canât even move. How do we dial the phone? With our
tongues?â
Kerry, on the other hand, had suspicions. âThis phone Why is it left here?â
Shirley hadnât noticed before as well. There was indeed a phone on the bedside table, and it was
placed in such a positionâ¦
She had a bad feeling about this. âCould the line be live?â
âIt⦠Canât be that bad, right?â
At the same time, on SwitchTVâs live streaming channel, Michelleâs live stream had blown up once
again.
