Alex was instantly stunned, meeting someone here that could speak his mother tongue.
âWho is she?â
Her face was unrecognizable because her flesh had also been taken away.
Alex quickly asked, âWhatâs your situation? Who abducted you?â
The lady was ecstatic when she heard Alexâs words, finally meeting someone who understood her. Just
as she was about to reply, the woman dressed in black, who had previously fallen into the sea with the
trojan horse, yanked the lady back with a pull of the rope.
The lady flew into the air like a bullet, landing hard on the trojan horse.
Clank!
Upon impact, the trojan horse that could fly was broken. However, it wasnât damaged solely by this hit.
The actual reason was that it was sent into the sea by a burst of energy, breaking away from that
attack.
This resulted in the womanâs rage. She grabbed the American lady by the neck and started shouting at
her. If she used any more force on her grip, she might actually break her neck.
âStop!â Alex rushed over and spoke in an ancient language.
This was because the woman also spoke the language. She, too, had come from the universe. In such
moments, Alex couldnât remain indifferent when a fellow American was in danger.
The woman raised her head and looked at Alex.
In an instant, Alex felt a chill down his spine. He took a good look at the womanâs face, which was
simply nightmarish.
It wasnât a skeleton, and neither was it skin and flesh. On her face grew a translucent black film, and it
wrapped her whole head. It looked eerie, as there were only contours in place of the eyes, nose, lips,
and ears. There werenât even any holes⦠It was as if her whole skull was wrapped under her skin.
Alexâs heart shivered. He remained silent.
However, Luneth shouted out in fear, âAh! Thatâs hideous! Thatâs terrifying!â
That one sentence immediately triggered the woman. She let out a chilly aura and glared at Luneth like
a devil. âYou dare call me hideous?! Be prepared to face death, b*tch!â
She then threw the lady away. With a pounce, she rushed towards Luneth.
âDie!â
Her aura shook the heavens and earth, making people feel like their souls were about to break.
It was at that very moment that Alex and the others understood what they had gotten themselves into.
This woman was more terrifying than Baton. When she pounced towards them, Lunethâs body couldnât
bear the sheer fear within her heart, and she fell to her knees, defenseless.
At the critical moment, Alex lent a helping hand. Medusaâs Aegis Shield appeared in his hand as he
lunged towards the woman, facing her attack straight on.
âHmph, you asked for it!â The woman snorted, her voice full of disdain.
The punch landed heavily on the shield.
âArgh!â
A loud pitch scream came from the shield. It was some kind of mental scream that could hit the deep
ends of someoneâs soul.
The woman let out a ferocious attack, intending to break the shield and kill Alex. Unfortunately, she was
disappointed. This weird-looking shield remained unscathed.
Most importantly, a face appeared on the shield, coming alive.
âWhatâs this?â
âIs this a demonic tool?â
The woman stared curiously at the shield. She then saw with her own eyes, a lady with snakes for hair
opening her eyes.
The petrification had started.
Alex saw with his own eyes how the woman slowly looked unwell. She was being affected by the
shield, slowly turning into stone.
Ecstatic, Alex loved the shield now more than ever. At the same time, he attacked with the Xavion
Sword.
Boom!
Yet The Xavion Sword missed, it crossed over the womanâs head and sliced viciously down into the
sea, where a humongous pillar of water erupted to the air. Vast lands of the beach cleared out. A ten
meter long and dozen meter wide channel of energy stretched out towards the deep end of the sea.
It was as if the horizon had split into two.
