The two human locusts werenât that strong, and their cultivation had been diminished a little when they
crossed the border. Such was the power of the force field.
If it were stronger, the consequences would not be as simple as diminished cultivation, but like the
giant bird before, it would have its life diminished. The final ending, however, was the same.
Milosâs Xavion Sword cut out a wheel of light. With a single sword, the two human locusts were
decapitated.

Poof⦠Poof⦠Poofâ¦
What had caught Milos off guard was the moment the two human locusts were chopped apart by the
Xavion Sword, the blood inside their bodies spurted out like an erupting volcano.
Milos
Alex
The blood, which was fishy and smelly, wasnât red but green. Once the green blood met the air, green
smoke came out. The strange poison was incomparable.
Fortunately, the Requiem Clock hanging over Milosâs head had not been taken off. The golden holy
energy was like a shadow, and the highly toxic blood hit the golden shield and corroded it, causing the
Requiem Clock to wail.
Milos
Alex
Clinton, the tool spirit, was probably shivering.
Shhhhhâ¦
The poisonous falcons all hissed viciously at the death of the falcon, and the sounds converged,
emitting a noise so unpleasant to the ear, their eardrums were about to be ripped apart.
Claudia screamed, and blood oozed out of her ears. She covered her ears and was unable to hold the
embroidery needle with the red thread.
Two sounds could be heard, however. The golden beetles, whose mouths were pierced by the
embroidery needles, had broken free. They didnât rush to chase Claudia but returned to the two human
locusts before scrambling to eat the corpses and blood.
Milos instantly teleported away.
Milos
Alex
âAuntie Claudia, are you all right?â Milos looked at her and asked.
Milos
Alex
âWhat are you shouting at me for?â Claudiaâs eyes widened. Looking less than thirty, she had a well
maintained appearance that made her look elegant and refined. After being called an auntie by a man
as old as Adrian, she felt a little strange all of a sudden.
Adrian,
Alex,
Adrian, however, frowned and looked at the blood by her ears, thinking that her eardrums mustâve
burst. Nonetheless, now wasnât the time for that. Instead, it was the best time to kill the beetles.
Adrian,
Alex,
âGreat Ice Bound Spell! â
âThousand Swords Attack!â
âBurning Thunder Flames!â
Milosâs attacks were in full swing. There was ice and fire, with hundreds of flying swords pouring down
like rain. The beetles without the human locusts were like floating ducklin gs that had lost their
foundation. They were much easier to kill, especially after the death of the human locusts. Venom
flowed out, which poisoned all the other small beetles.

A few moments later, the dust settled.
Milos turned around to find that Claudia had already wiped the blood from her ears. She recovered her
composure, then said as she looked at Adrian, âWell, your fighting ability is not bad. There is some
future.â
Milos
Alex
Adrian,
Alex,
ââ¦â
Milos froze and was speechless. Finally, he said, âYou owe me another life.â
Milos
Alex
Claudiaâs ears werenât damaged, and she could hear every word. The corners of her mouth twitched.
âBrat, how do you count? Although I wonât deny that you have helped me, you saying I owe you life is a
little too much, right? We are comrades in the same boat. Without me holding the golden beetle back,
could you have killed the human locusts so easily?â
Milos nodded. âOkay, then letâs forget it. â
Milos
Alex
Despite getting her life back, Claudia still felt awkward. âI am your aunt. Even if you save me, it is
perfectly natural. How can you make me return it?â she growled with gritted teeth.
Milos nodded again, âDonât worry, I wonât force you.â
Milos
Alex
ââ¦â
The golden beetles and the human locusts were highly poisonous, and there was no valuable loot,
prompting the pair to return to rendezvous with Xerxes and the rest immediately.
However, after running for a reasonable distance, they couldnât be found.
âStrange. This place is empty, and there are no other signs of battle. Where did they go?â
Logically, they should have been waiting not far away. Milos said, âCould they have found Principal
Lawlorâs traces and went after them?â
Milos
Alex
Claudia asked, âOn the way here, did the road fork out or something?â
