George understood the moment he saw their expressions. Since they were both strong cultivators from

âWhat?â Lorelei and Nebula couldnât keep up their act anymore.
âWhat do we do then?â
âAccording to what I know about Eustace, he would definitely not let us off that easily. In fact, he might
already be on his way here. We wonât stand a chance if we try to go against him head-on. How about
we just run away⦠Leave Yukon?â
âIs it really fine to leave Yukon when you literally just called yourselves the protectors of this very
place?â George thought.

âTheyâve already left Yukonâ¦â George then explained their current situation, telling them that the statue
had once again gotten involved and let Eustace go.

However, she gave both parties three months.
âThe statue⦠Her highnessâ words might not do much for Eustace. Albert even said that Her Highness
wouldnât be able to stop the seed.â

Lorelei looked at the building, seemingly more surprised than George.

âWhat is that place?â Maya asked.
âI donât know,â Lorelei answered. âWe canât go up there.â
âAnd itâs very dangerous,â she added after a brief while.
George was shocked. âNot even you can get up there? What about Underwood then?â

Lorelei replied, âNope.â
Nebula said. âOne would have to use the Heavenly Stairs if they want to get up that building. But the
stairs are dangerous, and Eustace could only go up thirteen steps. If anyone forces their way up any
further, that would be asking for torture.â
Gilbert asked, âHow many steps are there?â
Lorelei replied. âNine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine!â
Everyone fell silent. It was just too horrific.
âThe seed could only ascend thirteen steps, but it has nearly ten thousand. Could anyone from this
world actually up that place?â
However, Jade seemed like she wanted to try. Her expressions said it all.
âFirst, help me set up the formations! Then we can go take a look at those stairs!â
George took out tens of thousands of formation flags, all set up with Cuneiform. After pondering, he
took out a diagram.

Nebula gasped. âEustaceâs Star Ethereal Diagram? Why do you have it?â
George replied. âI obviously took it from him.â

Lorelei said, âNo formation was difficult for Eustace because of that diagram. Thatâs why formations are
actually his weaknessesâ¦â
âBut among our fifteen sisters, Nadia had done some research on formations. The normal ones
wouldnât be too difficult for her to open.â
George said, âThis is called the Thousand Flag Formation! If she can break through this, I will suck up
to her!â
