Dorothy said, âEach time she reincarnates, she had to keep some of the memories retrieved with great
difficulty. Hence, she couldnât take the normal path during her reincarnation. Once she took the path in
the Land of Ghosts, her memories would be cut. Thus, she took another path, but she had to suffer the
pain of being crushed by a grinder.â
The grinder referred to the so-called Flesh Grinder. Albert had never been to the Land of Ghosts, and
he didnât know the specific situation over there. However, he felt extremely pained just by hearing that.
Mozart glanced at the four children. Fortunately, Dorothy had told him all those terrifying things via
telepathy and not in front of the children.

âXiennaâs memories were cut into several pieces when she first fell into the Pool of Reincarnation.
Which part was yours?â asked Albert.
Albert

âWhen it comes to me, itâs the final part,â Dorothy said. âBut the worst thing was that Xienna once lost
something when she encountered the Flesh Grinder in the passage of reincarnation. Itâs the token of
love between her and that man. She⦠Couldnât remember his face. It may be the effect of the curse, or
the God-slaying Sword. Or, perhaps it was the side effect of going through the Flesh Grinder too many
times.â
âWhat?â
Dorothy leaned gently on Albert. âHubby, do you understand such a feeling?â
Albert
Alex
â⦠I do! I was really in pain once Xienna severed our the thread of destiny at that time.â
Albert hugged Dorothy and sighed lightly. âShe had experienced such events, yet she wanted to force
you to undergo such pain with your body. Was this considered her revenge, or was it retribution? Her
affection was ever-lasting, but was there any point she kept searching like that?â
Albert
Alex
Dorothy shook her head. âI donât know. She finds a point in that, perhaps.â
Currently, she still remembered the heart-wrenching cry Xienna let out when she acquired the scattered
reincarnated souls and retrieved her memories. She had in fact lost the face of the most important
man.
Albert said, âIâm also touched by her persistence, but Iâm worried. What if she really finds that man one
day, only to discover that his soul had long scattered to oblivion? Or, that man has long forgotten her,
reincarnated and formed another family⦠There are lots of uncertainties!â

One more thing, she came from the Stoermer Sect. Her lover was most likely someone from the
Stoermer Sect, but now, the Stoermer Sect is in ruins and people are alreadyâ¦â
Having said that, Albert remembered it.

âNot everyone is gone yet. Isnât the female statue the Highness of the Stoermer Sect still around? Go
find her!â
âLetâs go. Iâll take you to someone. Perhaps she can give us an answer.â
Dorothy asked, âWho?â
Albert said, âSomeone who probably knows Xienna Stoermer.â

Albert and his friends found Phoenix Rowan riding on Lecia, the fiery phoenix who was on top of the
mountain, looking somewhere far away. She did not even show any response to the arrival of Albertâs
family.

After the conversation with Ignatius, she had given it a lot of thought.
âHey, female stat⦠Senior!â Albert almost shouted âfemale statueâ.
Albert
Alex
Phoenix turned around. âIâm not the female stat.â
Albert looked slightly embarrassed. âSenior, I havenât thanked you formally for the previous incident.â
Albert
Alex
Phoenix shook her head. âYou donât have to thank me. Iâll be happy enough if you donât hate me.â
âWhat do you mean?â Albert froze for a moment. Mozart somehow felt that there was an overtone in
her words.
