âWhat?â Anna stood up abruptly and downed the whole cup of liquor.
She shoved the reformed version of Dragon Tusk into her bag and rushed out.
A few seconds later, she rushed back in and grabbed Alex by his arm. âSteel Tower is
hurt. Youâre a miracle doctor, right? Come with me and take a look at him.â
Before Alex could even refuse, she dragged him straight into her car and rushed to their
temporary base. Slamming the pedal to the metal, Anna rushed off to Serenity Villa.
Alex noticed many other Divine Constabulary members this time. He was able to count
at least ten or so members. Ted Summers from the Summers family in California was
here as well. However, he looked like a mess. He was covered in dust and several
injuries.
Everyone seemed very upset, visibly worried.
Anna had quite the reputation in Divine Constabulary. As she walked over to the manor,
many greeted her along the way, referring to her as âTigressâ.
Alex couldnât help but think. âDid this originate from her aggressive personality?â
Anna managed to find Sky in the middle of the crowd. She asked, âCaptain, howâs Steel
Tower?â
Skyâs expression was grim. âMs. Nanami is trying to save him now, in there.â
After noticing Alex, Skyâs eyes lit up. âAlex, youâre here too.â
He knew that Alex was very skilled in medicine. Wallace Yoke, the well-known imperial
doctor, had worshipped Alex as well. As the apostle of Dazzle, Alex might be able to
save Steel Tower despite his condition.
Just then, the door opened wide. A woman who was wearing a white doctorâs robe and
a mask came out of the room, covered in blood.
âMs. Nanami, how is Steel Tower?â Sky asked.
The others came forward, they were eager to hear Dr. Nanamiâs reply as well.
However, bad news dawned upon them. Ms. Nanami shook her head gently. âSorry, I
did what I could.â
âWhat?â
âSteel Tower, heâ¦â
Every single person in the hall was shocked, it was as if they could hear their hearts
shattering simultaneously. Sky clenched his fists tightly and punched a giant hole into
the wall next to him.
Some even started crying out loud.
Anna leaned against Alex and bit down on his shoulder. Alex yelped in pain. However,
none paid attention to his screams.
Everyone then rushed into the room, they wanted to send Steel Tower off.
Alex sighed as well. Back when he first came here, Steel Tower blocked his way. He
was a skilled fighter who trained with brute force. If it werenât for the breath of Chi his
ancestor gave him, Alex knew he wouldnât have been able to stand a chance
against him.
He didnât expect death to meet Steel Tower before he did.
âSteel Tower!â
âOh, Steel! My brother!â
âSteel was trying to save me, thatâs why he was stabbed seven times by Clown! That
bastard! I canât accept this! I shouldâve been the one who died! Iâd rather die than to
have Steel leave us!â One of the members cried as he smashed his head onto the floor
multiple times.
With such strong emotions, Alex couldnât help but empathize with them.
However, he suddenly realized that Steel Towerâs soul was still in his body by using his
Third Eye to look into his Chi. Although he was lying still on the temporary surgical bed,
his Chi was still the same as the living.
Alex exclaimed. âHold on, Steel Tower is still alive.â
âWhat?â
âIs he really still alive?â
Everyone looked at one another and turned to the monitors connected to Steel Tower.
The whole screen was covered in zeroes.
âIs this still considered a living person?â
Ms. Nanami had taken off her mask and her attractive face was expressionless. She
shot Alex a cold glare. âDonât joke around.â
Alex replied, âIâm not, Steel Tower can still be saved.â
Ms. Nanamiâs face turned serious. âAre you doubting my skills as a doctor? Do you think
I canât differentiate a living person and a corpse?â
