âSo, you canât call them? Do you want me to call them over for you?â Alex said as he pulled his phone
out
of his pocket. Meanwhile, Hailey grabbed his hand gently. âBro, we really shouldnât go up against
Thousand Miles
Conglomerate. If you were to beat up Lord Lexâs nephew, wouldnât it become a real mess later?â Alex
lightly huffed. âEven if Lord Lex were to come over, he would have to bow down to me!â
âWhat?â
Everyone gasped in astonishment. âIsnât he bluffing a little too much?â Alex immediately called Lord
Lex. âLord Lex, your nephew is with me. He wanted my City Salon to join you
guys and pay a membership fee of three hundred million dollars per year. If we donât pay up, he said
that he
would have three thousand of your men take down our little salon.
Iâm just so scared, you have to come up
with something, Iâll wait over the phone.â Lord Lex was surprised. âI donât have a nephew though!â Alex
asked, âCould he be a love child then?â Lord Lex froze and said respectfully, âMr. Rockefeller, Iâll be
there right away.â Alex replied, âRemember to bring more of your men, he did say he wanted to bring
three thousand of them
after all.â ***
Alex had his reason to call Lord Lex to bring his men over to the salon, it was a deliberate show or
strength
as a warning, to prevent any other fools coming over to try and scam money out of them again. Twenty
minutes later, a shocking sight could be seen outside the salon. A huge fleet of hundreds of cars roared
as they rushed over, filling up the large plaza in front of the salon.
Dozens of the car owners couldnât find a place to park, so they decided to park their cars at the
roadside. Hundreds of men nervously rushed toward the salon. Those car owners who were stuck in
traffic didnât even
dare to get mad after seeing such a magnificent scene.
Passers-by immediately backed away out of shock. Many took out their phones to take photos, some
even
called the officials to deal with this. The people inside City Salon were shocked to see such a scene. All
of them were trembling profusely, they
were worried that City Salon would come to an end this very day.
A large group of people walked in with grandiosity. However, as soon as they reached the salonâs
entrance, they lined up neatly in two rows. Lord Lex rushed over anxiously as well. He bowed to Alex
as soon as he saw him. âMr. Rockefellerâ¦â Thud!
Sharpay fell to the ground, staring in disbelief. Hailey, on the other hand, had her beautiful eyes fixated
on him as well, visibly surprised. She had met Waltz
before, but she didnât know anything about her true identity.
Seeing Lord Lex bowing humbly to curry favor with Alex, she was truly appalled as she felt it was
extremely
outrageous⦠Alexâs power had unfathomable depths. âLord Lex, take a look and see for yourself. Is he
your nephew?â Alex said as he pointed toward Wolf. âMr. Rockefeller, I donât have to. I am an orphan,
so I wouldnât have any siblings, let alone nephews. Guys,
take him away and drown him.â
Lord Lex quickly ordered a few underlings of Thousand Miles Conglomerate to take Wolf away. Wolf
was so horrified that he was about to wet his pants. He couldnât believe that the boss of City Salon
would
have such great power within the area. He was able to call hundreds of Thousand Miles Conglomerate
members over with just a phone call and even had Lord Lex apologize to him in person.
He screamed, âLord Lex! Lord Lex, please spare me! Iâm Janiceâs son! Janice is my mother! Please,
please let
me go!â Lexâs eyes were as cold as ice. âJaniceâs son? Take him away and break all of his limbs first,
then weâll
drown him!â
After Wolf was taken away, Lex bowed to Alex again. âSorry, Mr. Rockefeller. This is my fault, youâre
free
to punish me however you like!â The eyes of the women at the scene nearly had their eyes popped out
of their head. On the other hand, the remaining group of thugs could sense that death was near.
