who it was, Claire almost wanted to run away and make an escape. Brittany noticed her nervousness
and smiled coldly as she approached Claire. âSo, Ms. Bardot, why have you
been waiting at my house?â Claire clenched her fists to muster up more courage. She smiled and said,
âOh, hello, you just came back, my
dear in-law, I⦠â Brittany interrupted her. âStop right there, weâre no longer in-laws, donât call me that.â
Claire smiled awkwardly. âOh donât say that. Once in-laws, always in-laws, right?â
Brittanyâs expression darkened. âClaire Bardot, what are you even saying? My son has gotten a divorce

your daughter, so how are we still in-laws? Our family doesnât have the luck to be your in-laws! Just tell
