James POV

"Now that I know who Estelle is, can I date her?" Kyle asks.

"That's my little sister, and hell no!" I protest.

"So can I? She's kinda hot." Victor says walking in. I look at Kyle and he shakes his head 'no' very slowly as if it's a worse idea than letting her date him.

"Why are you two hitting on my sister?" I ask.

"She's hot, have you not seen her."

"She's crippled." I say.

"Its okay." I tilt my head as I debate on whether or not I wanted to walk away or punch him in the face.

"James!" Estelle yelled from upstairs.

"You know she has a sexy name." Victor purrs.

"I'll go see what she wants." Kyle smirks, running up the stairs.

"Don't try anything freaky or anything at all!" I yell.

"You never thought about hittin' that?" Victor ask sipping his beer. I didn't answer though. "You have, haven't you!" He yelled. "Damn! That's your sister!" He yells again.

"Step sister." I grunt.

"It doesn't matter. You like her!"

"Lower your damn voice, she's a werewolf too!" I yell through gritted teeth.

"I'm just saying." He chugs his beer.

"Hey, what's a Ayala?" Kyle asks, coming down the stairs.

"Her favorite wine." I answer. "Its under the sink."

"How old his she?" Victor asks.

"I dunno sixteen, she's about to be seventeen, sometime next week." I mention.

"Imma ask her out, hand me the Ayala." Victor demanded. I just shake my head, if I ever stood a chance with Estelle then he would have probably died before finishing that sentence, but I'm her step brother, I will never have that chance.

"No, way. Date your other friends little sister." Kyle snapped.

"You're a bastard." Victor yelled at Kyle.

I didn't say anything. Not until Aaron walked through the back door. "Shouldn't you be with your mate?" I ask him.

"That's the thing. Yesterday was Taylor's birthday, since her parents decided to take her home from the hospital I couldn't tell her happy birthday I can't just stop by her house, not unless Estelle is with me."

"Sorry buddy, Estelle is on bed rest." I say.

"But I real-"

"Who's the kid?" Victor asked.

"Um, Estelle's ex, he found his mate and she doesn't know it. Neither does Estelle." I narrow my eyes to him.

"Who's his mate?" Victor intrudes.

"Her bestfriend, Taylor."

"Ah, shit! That's fucked up! Wooo! I'm getting me another beer." Victor found this somewhat funny, which infuriated Aaron. Victor popped the top off his beer and started more jokes. "W-w-wait. Estelle doesn't even know! Boyyy! I have to come over here more often." He started drinking a lot of his beer. "Wait, wait, wait! That means Estelle is single single?" I nodded my head. Instead of setting his, almost empty beer bottle on the counter, he dropped it ran upstairs. "I'll clean it up when I get back."

"Dude, Kyle's already up there, there's no-" before I could finish, you could hear them start fighting, "point."

"So you're letting your friends date your sister?" Aaron asks.

"Estelle has high expectations for guys so if she actually dates one of them I guess that head injury was more critical than we thought." I laugh a little.

"James I really hate having to break up with Estelle, it's jus-"

"YALL BROKE MY BOTTLE OF AYALA!!! JAMES GET YOUR DAMN FRIENDS!" Estelle had yelled from upstairs, only seconds later Victor and Kyle came downstairs with a frown on their faces.

"We broke her bottle of Ayala." Kyle frowns.

"Now she's mad at us." Victor says.

"I was so close to kissing her." Kyle whimpered.

I looked at him and he instantly regretted saying that. "Is she a good kisser?" Victor asks, directing his question to Aaron.

His whole facial expression changed. "C'mon kid, you're acting like you never told anyone 'bout you and Estelle, I jus wanna know if she's a good kisser, nothing else."

"I'm not going to tell you anything about her so you can use my ex for some booty call." Aaron growled.

"Thanks." A whisperess voice said.

I turn around to see Estelle on the last step of the stairs. "You're supposed to be on bed rest." I say.

"You're supposed be home, but you're not there, are you?"

"Mom and dad said for me to keep a stea-"

"My mom, your dad." Estelle growls.

"Anyways, they want me to stay here until you're completely healed." I snap.

"Meow. Who let the cat out the bag?" I ignore my sarcastic step sister. "Hi, Aaron." Estelle whispers.

"Hey."

I look over and only to see two heads. "Where did Victor go?" I ask.

"Something about going to Graped Wines. And a date with Estelle." Aaron said, and Kyle's face grew red.

"Why didn't you say anything! I bet he's getting a Ayala. I'll be right back." Kyle stormed out the back door and slamming it behind him.

"Why are you friends with creeps?" Estelle asks.

"I dunno cool dudes? Would you really go on a date with Victor?" I ask.

"I don't know. I am single by far. Plus he's funny and cute, why not? Not to mentions I don't have anything to lose." She sips her cup of apple juice.

"Then why are mean to them all the time?" I ask.

"I dunno. It's way easier than going 'oh hubba bubba he's a hotty' it's easier just to push them away." She shrugs.

Has she been doing that with me?

"Then you won't be with them."

"Sometimes no," her eyes flick over to Aaron, "other times yes." Then they went back down to her cup.

"You know Jacob told me you liked me, an-"

"Fuck Jacob." Estelle growls.

"What did he do to you?" I ask, coming from her sudden outburst.

"In seventh grade, him and his idiotic friends were making fun of me. He asked if he could put my hair in a ponytail, then he cut my hair up to my shoulders. If he didn't do that my hair could be to my butt, yuh hear!" She started yelling towards the end and ended up breaking her cup of apple juice.

"I didn't know that." Aaron whispers.

"You do now, and I will never forgive him." She smiles.

"Me? Why? That happened like three... four years ago?" I turn around to see a brown haired kid wearing a blue v-neck.

"Who the hell let you in!?" Estelle yelled.

"I did!" Kyle yelled holding a bottle of Ayala.

"Why on earth would you do that!?" Estelle yelled.

"He said he was a close friend of yours and he knew Aaron was here."

"More like the closer he gets to me the greater his chance of dying is." Estelle growled.

"Hey, I'm back with your favorite." Victor said coming around the corner. "Would you like to join me with a glass of Ayala 1983?" He asks gentleman like.

"Why would I- wait, did you say 1983?" Estelle asked astonished.

"Yes, it was expensive, but it was worth it." Victor smirked.

"You too? I just found out that the hottest girl in school was single and you two are like four years older than her and trying to get-no. No. N-" Jacob yelled.

"Excuse you?" Estelle snapped.

"Ya, I cut your hair, but you don't know why?"

"Then why?"

"'Cause I was with Rakiya. The guys knew I liked you an-and they threatened to tell Rakiya then Iann said 'cut her hair, and we won't tell plus she needs a haircut anyway' so I did." She glared at him.

"Are you fucking serious!"

"C'mon you know what it's like to save a relationship, remember what you did to Rabecca Gofeild." Jacob asks.

"What did you do to Rabecca Gofeild?" I smirk asking.

"I beat her up." She whispers.

"What did you say, I don't think I heard you." I taunt her.

"I. Beat. Her. Up!" She yelled.

"But why?"

"Because she kissed Aaron, and I got mad."

"It was pretty funny if you ask me. Girls are still scared to even give me a hug. Well, not anymore."

"I'm going to go limp to the living room and share this bottle of Ayala 1983, with Victor."

"In that case no need to limp." Victor picked her up from behind and held her securely in his arms, bridal style. I keep myself from growling at him and his arrogance.

"Sorry, bud. Better luck next time?"

"Shut up." Jacob said, then he left.

"Well, Victors not going to let her out of his arms anytime soon, so I'm going to the Game Lounge."

Aaron nodded his head. "Imma join you, I can use a beer... or two."
