Chapter 70: Epilogue

So finally I am here with the Epilogue. Hope you will like it.

Author's POV.

Advika was getting ready in front of the mirror just then Abhimaan entered. Looking at her his heartbeat increased. It's been nine years of their marriage and still every single time when he looks at her she has the same effect on him like the day they meet.  Her smile , her tears , her words have the same effect just like their first meeting. He went back and hugged her.

" Where are you going Jaan?"

" Don't tell me Maan you forgot. Your son is so excited. If you forget he will sulked, cry and do so many things to punish you."

" I have two sons whom you are talking about and what?"

Yes, after a few years of Rihaan's birth Advika got pregnant again. They wanted to have a baby girl. But they had a boy. They are still happy that Advika could make up with the baby.He would never forget that dreadful day in his life.

Flashback.  ( Three years back )

Advika was nine months pregnant. She was coming downstairs with Rihaan who was talking with his maa happily. And telling her about his school.  While coming downstairs she missed the step and rolled down and fell on her stomach.

" Ahhhhhhhh"

" Maa What happened? Are you ok maa. Maa blood"

Rihana is a five year old baby who doesn't understand many things. There was no one at home. Kajal went to the temple as pandit ji suggested some Puja for the baby's health. She was not ready to leave her alone but Advika said that it's just for two hours, she will manage. Advika took a deep breath and looked at her five year old son who was crying looking at his maa  pain.

" Rihu baby please don't cry baby don't panic. You have to save your baby brother or sister. Do As I tell you"

He wipe his tears with his back of hands and said,

" Yes Maa, I will save my baby brother or sister. Tell me what I should do?"

"Ahhhh Rihu first help me so I can lay on my back. Baby is in maa's stomach. She can't lay like this on her stomach. "

Rihu stood up and held Advika's arm and pushed her on her back. After failing two or three times he was able to make her lay on her back. But in that process he fell.

" Rihu are you ok?"  She asked, impatient.

" I am ok maa"

" Ok then call your papa and Dadi. And see if Raghav uncle or Zahir uncle are there. If yes then tell him we need to go to the hospital."

" Yes Maa" Rihaan said and grabe Advika's phone and called his papa.

As soon as Abhimaan's phone rang he picked up thinking it's Advika.

" Hey Jaan missing me?"

" Papa Maa " Rihaan said and started crying.

" Rihu what happened beta why are crying and where is Maa?"

" Papa Mumma fell down the stairs, blood.

He understands the situation and said,

" I am coming, Rihu , don't cry. I am coming,  tell your Maa to take a deep breath."

Saying he cut the call and left the office. Rihaan went to his Maa and saw her closing her eyes.

" Maa don't close your eyes. Papa said "take deep breaths."  Saying he kissed her forehead and was about to call her dadi but Kajal returned back. As she was not feeling peace leaving Advika alone.

She saw her and went to her.

" Advika " listening her voice she opened her eyes

" Maa my baby. Please save my baby."

Kajal helps her to stand and take her out slowly and helps her to be in the car. She took a seat beside her. And Rihaan took the passenger seat.

" Rihu called your papa and inform him that  we are taking your maa hospital."

" Ok Dadi"

" Maa if something happens to me please take care of my baby. My Rihu and My Maan. Please love them."

" Stop talking nonsense Advika, nothing will happen to you. "

Once they reach the hospital, the Doctor takes Advika to the operation theater and Kajal and Rihaan sit on a bench. Her crying can be listed in the whole corridor. Soon Abhimaan came. As soon as Rihaan saw him he ran into his arms.

" Papa , maa"  Rihaan said to him. And hid his face on his chest while crying.  Kajal explains what happened. Soon other family members of Advika came to the hospital.  Rihu who went through this truma and saw his maa in pain and blood is not ready to leave his papa. Soon slept in his arms while crying. When Doctor came out he asked,

" Doctor, my wife and baby?"

" Mr. Rathore we are trying our best but the case is completed."

He sat on the bench. All the while he didn't leave Rihaan even when he slept. When Meera tries to take sleeping Rihaan. He pressed Rihaan more to his chest.

" No Bhabhi he is my son I won't give him anyone. Nor him. Not Advika and not my newborn baby they are mine.  I won't let them go away from me. "

After a few hours the doctor came out with the baby in his arms. Abhimaan stood up from the bench and asked,

" Doctors, my baby, my wife?"

" Congratulations Mr. Rathore you have become a father of two boys now. And don't worry your wife is also safe. But unfortunately she won't able to conceive after this"

" It's ok doctor. I just wanted to know if both my baby and my wife are fine, right? I don't want any other child. I have two boys now. And that's enough for me."

Doctors nodded to tell him that he can meet Advika after a few hours. As she is weak and will take time to gain her consciousness.

Flashback ends.

Abhimaan has tears in his eyes which Advika saw and kissed his eyes and asked,

" What are you thinking Maan? What brought tears to your eyes."

" I am thinking about Shivanshv's birth. I will never forget that day in my life."

" Why do you think about that day it's been three years "

" Still I can't forget "

" Don't worry all of us are here only "  saying he picked his lips.

" Jaan it's been eight years of our marriage and you still don't know how to kiss. Let me teach you." Saying he was about to kiss her when the door of their room opened with the bang and Rihaan ran inside.

" Lo aa gya mere romance ka dushman.  Isike chakkar mein Shivansh ko aane me paach sal lag gaye the." Abhimaan muttered under his breath and Advika glared at him.

Rihaan jumped on bed and asked,

" Maa, are you ready? "

" Yes beta "

" Papa are you?"

" But both of you mother-son will tell me where to go?" Advika facepalms herself and Rihaan looks at his father as if he has committed some crime. And  started crying.

" Maa, papa don't love me now. Look at him he promised me but still forgot. Maa don't talk to him if he doesn't take us today."

" No beta papa is just joking. He remembers that he has promised you to take hospital to see Raghav uncle's daughter. Heena Maan" she said while glaring at Abhimaan.

" Yes yes I was joking" he said while showing his guilty eyes to Advika. Rihaan looks at him and asked,

" Sachhi you are joking"

" Of course. Let me change then we will go."  He said as he doesn't want Rihaan to cry more and Advika to get angry.  Rihaan got happy listening to his papa.

" But why are you alone here where is shivu ? You shouldn't leave him alone beta he is still kid "

" Ohh ho papa. I know. But I didn't leave him alone. He went with Devnag chachu and Christi Chachi at Fun park."

One year back Devang got married with Christi whom he met in London when he went to expand their business and fall in love. They got married with both Hindu and Christian rituals. Two months back they lost her child in miscarriage.   After that Shivansh is the only source of their happiness. They spent most of her time with Shivansh to forget her pain. Nighter Advika or Abhimaan stopped them. Knowing that this is the only way to heal them.  Devag and Christi also loved him like his son.

Arav got married to Karishma in an arranged marriage. Whom his mother chose. They are currently on vacation. With their son Karthik.

" I don't understand why you are so excited for Rihu to meet Raghav's daughter. It's not like you have never seen a small baby. You have seen Baby Shivansh and Karthik"

" Because papa they are boys and she is a girl. And I have never seen a small girl."

He shook his head at his son's excitement and went to change.  When he came out he listened to his son talking with his Maa.

" Maa my clothes are good right?"

" Yes baby"

" I know I told Dadi that I want to wear new clothes so she made me wear this. You know I asked her to join us. But she refused saying she wanted to go satsang.  Maa why she never joins us anywhere. She always stays at home, does puja and then plays with us. Then again the same every day."

" You know her baccha she doesn't like to go anywhere. Except be with us or Vidhyut Chachu's home. "

" I know she doesn't smile either. Only smiles when me or shivu play with her.  But why is she like that?"

Abhimaan  knows where this question is going. His son is always curious about this thing. As he feels odd. In all this yes one thing happened good to Kajal and that is Rihaan. He is very close to his dadi. And Kajal also loved him like there is no other person in the world to love. She does everything he asks her to do, she cooks his favorite food, buys things for him now Abhimaan makes sure that she doesn't need to ask for money from anyone. But as always she hardly used them for herself, it's always for Rihaan and Shivansh. Advika also can be free when Kajal is home. Because she always loved to take care of kids. What she wasn't able to do with Abhimaan and Vidhyut. Now she does all those things with their kids. Now her life is around two things one her Puja and second her grandchildren.

" Rihu, did you buy something for Baby girl?   You are going to meet her for the first time" Abhimaan asked to change the topic.

" Yes Papa. I asked Dadi to bring me a soft toy . Also she brought a big Mickey mouse teddy. But we will give her that when she comes here outside the quarter. It will be spoiled in the hospital na"  He said to his father with a big smile.  Few years back Abhimaan made two quarters back side of his mansion for Zahir and Raghav. And they shifted there with their families.

Rihaan jumped in his father's arms and started telling how excited he was to meet the baby girl. Soon they reached the hospital.  They entered the room where Raghav's wife and daughter were.

" Good evening boss"  Raghav greeted them.

" Come on Raghav, no need to be formal," he said.

Advika talked with Raghav's wife. Asking about her and the baby's health. But Rihaan is getting impatient to see the baby.

" Raghav uncle, where is the baby?"  He asked.

" They took her for the last few tests. She will be here in a few minutes."

Which made Rihaan sad. He started looking at the door. Just then the nurse entered with the baby. Who is crying

" Don't worry we have done some tests, that's why she is crying but soon will be calm." Saying she passed the baby to her mamma.

She tried to calm her down but the baby didn't stop crying. Soon everyone took their turn to calm her. But she didn't stop crying. At last when Abhimaan also couldn't able calm her then Rihaan said,

" Papa give her to me, I will make her stop crying."

First Abhimaan didn't give him but Rihaan being stubborn didn't listen to his father. At last Abhimaan asked him to sit on a sofa and give him.  As soon as Abhimaan gave the baby to Rihaan she stopped crying. And started looking at him. Who wispear looking at her,

" Princess"

Then again cooed her,

" Princess, no crying , ok. Look, I am here."

" Why are you calling her princess ?" Advika asked.

" Because maa she is a princess. Dadi told me what a  princess looks like and she looks just like that. She has big beautiful eyes, chubby pink cheeks. And a beautiful innocent smile."  Saying he was trying to saw her to his maa.

He kept her on his lap and for the next hour didn't let anyone touch her.

" Rihu come of give baby back to her Mamma"

He hold baby tight and said,

" No papa. I won't give her back. She is my princess."

" No baccha you have to give baby back to her mummy"

" No, I won't give her back; she is my princess. Dadi told me god will send me princess. Now I know looking at her she is my princess Papa I won't give her to anyone. She is mine. And mine only. "

When he didn't give the baby back willingly, Abhimaan took the baby forcefully and gave it to Raghav and took Rihaan in his arms and moved out. Advika gave an apologetic smile to Raghav and who returned an assuring smile.

Abhimaan, Advika and Rihaan came back to Rathore Mansion. All the while Rihaan is crying. Advika sat on the sofa with Rihanna on her lap and tried to make him understand but he was not ready to understand and only crying saying that she is his princess.  Kajal returned from satsang and saw Rihaan crying.

She sat beside Advika. Knowing his dadi's presence he shifted to her lap and she asked him.

" What happened to my Rihu, why are you crying?"  She asked lovingly while caressing his hairs.

" Dadi I am a prince , right?"  He asked while crying and looking with hopeful eyes that his dadi will support him.

" Yes Mera baby you are a prince." She replied.

" Then I must have the princess right. You also told me that God will send me a princess when I become a big boy. You know God sent me princess but Papa didn't let me take her home" he said as tears rolled down his cheeks.

" But who is your princess?"

" Raghav uncle's daughter. She is my princess. You know she is just like a princess. And she is mine and I won't let anyone have her. But papa didn't let me take her here and also took her from me."

" Rihu stops saying that she is yours. She is not yours. " Abhimaan said with little anger.

" No she is mine, mine and mine"

" No she is not. She is too small and you are too. So remember it." He said stenaly.

" You also said Maa is yours. Have I ever stopped you calling her your. Then why are you stopping me?"

" Because I am married to your Maa"

" Then get me married to her. "

" No you can't, you are just a kid."  He declared in his tone like there will be no discussions and was about walk out just then he hired Rihaan's voice,

" Jeevi Chachi is right, you are Khadoos akdu grumpy old Man."  Rihaan shouted and hid his face in his Dadi's chest.

" Stop letting him go to jeevika, she is spoiling my kid." Abhimaan said angrily to Advika and left from there.

" Dadi, maa both of you please tell papa that she is my princess. Let me have her. She is mine."

" No Rihu, your papa is right." Kajal said.

He looked her as if she betrayed him and said,

" Nobody understands me " and ran to his room.

At night Abhimaan entered his room with Shivansh in his arms. He saw his wife looking lovingly at his son. Who has cried almost the whole evening for his princess. He put Shivansh beside Advika and took Rihaan in his arms and laid with him on his chest. The way he used to do it when he was a kid and cried a lot.

" Maan I am worried. She has not even entered the mansion and he was so possessive about her. And cried for her hours. What will he do when she is here?"

" Don't worry everything will be fine"  he said while running his hand on his wet cheeks.

Soon Advika slept but Abhimaan couldn't sleep as he was looking at his son who was sleeping on his chest. And praying for his son and the girl whom his son marked as his. His son is different from him. He always makes sure Advika never faces any problem because he's possessive and obsessive nature .But His son is different and he doesn't care about all this. He makes sure he gets what he wants. And never cared how he got it. And this time he wants a girl God knows what he will do to make her his who just entered this world.

Soon sleep consumed him. And the moon who was picking through his window is ready to witness a new journey.
