The Unbalance Domain worked up to one entire realm of difference. The twins are at the Peak Stage of the Transition Realm, while Duere is at the Peak Stage of the Void Tempering Realm. Duere just so happened to be exactly at the limit of what the Domain could touch.
'WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!' Duere's mind was in chaos!
In that split second, Duere's cultivation went down from the Peak Stage to the Late Stage of the Void Tempering Realm. Naturally, his spears were affected by that change, and now they had a power equivalent to an attack of a Space Bending Realm cultivator at the Initial Stage.
That wasn't all. The twins' bodies also merged together. They held until this moment, hoping they wouldn't need to use this skill of the system. First, they hated the idea of merging with each other. Besides, the skill costs 10 Celestial Points to use and only lasts ten minutes. If they continued merged after that, it would cost them another ten points.
Rean and Roan became one, and the shackles of the Mortal World Laws immediately acted. One of the effects of the Yin Yang Fusion was the face the twins' cultivation would go up by one stage. Naturally, they should enter the Void Tempering Realm Initial Stage in that form.
At that moment, the Celestial Soul System and the Mortal World Laws seemed to fight each other. However, the Celestial Soul System's power couldn't be held back when Celestial Points were used. Those shackles immediately broke through brute force, and the twins' cultivation soared, reaching the Initial Stage of the Void Tempering Realm.
'Let's go, Kentucky!' Rean and Roan spoke together as one as they jumped on Kentucky's back.
Even the station in the background was affected. Many of those Cracks and Rifts swallowed several parts of it, and many of the Inquisition Hall experts inside died with it. Even the teleport formations that the Inquisition Hall from other planets were using couldn't work properly anymore. The space around was too chaotic, and trying to teleport over would just be suicide.
Well, in all that commotion, the Inquisition Hall definitely took the biggest losses. Before the twins merged, Rean used his Spiritual Sense to warn everyone on their side to run as fast as they could. He knew this kind of outcome would happen. Obviously the Inquisition Halls' experts didn't go after them since they were ordered to defend their position.
Slowly, the energy in the surroundings began to settle, and the center of the impact, where there were still several Spatial Rifts and Cracks, was revealed.
There, a bloodied Kentucky, with part of his beak broken, stood floating in the air while looking at his surroundings. He was making sure to not get too close to the Spatial Cracks and Rifts.
On his back, Rean and Roan, in their merged form, held a giant head in their hands, Duere's Camazotz Bat head!
It wasn't really the twins that destroyed Duere's body. They contributed to it by causing the explosion between their attacks. However, most of the reason was the overflow of Chaos Energy that Duere took into his body. Had Rean and Roan not intervened, not even Duere's head would have remained.
The twins looked at it with absent eyes. That's because Rean had already taken action. He sent his Light Element inside and brought Roan's Dark Element together. He was invading Duere's Soul... No, that wasn't just Duere's Soul anymore. It was mangled with something else. Rean could tell just by the feeling. It was the Abyssal Soul they had faced back in the Fragile Dimensional Realm.
'Can you pull both souls apart?' Roan asked through their connection.
Rean narrowed his eyes. That soul was still active, trying to get itself free from the Rean's grasp. As long as it fought back, Rean couldn't bring it into the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. He also didn't want to open a Spatial Gate to the Dimensional Realm in that place since the space around was too chaotic. It wouldn't be stable enough to go through. He had to act without Sister Orb's help.
'The Abyssal Soul isn't a complete soul, just a small piece of a real thing. This should be another Abyssal Soul Shard, just like the one we met with Rifindio.' He checked a bit and could tell that both Duere's Soul and the Abyssal Soul were quickly dying in that condition.
'Well, here goes nothing!' Without another choice, Rean used his Light Element and Roan's Dark Element to try to separate both parts.
