Have you ever felt that been an orphan is better than having parents. I don't know about others but right now i wish i was an orphan.
It wasn't even my fault but still I'm been scolded. That Bastard!! I hate him. I can't believe it he actually complained about me to my parents. It was his driver's fault for driving so recklessly but still I'm the one who is going to be punished.
"Are you listening to me Divya?" Mom yelled and it was then when i came back to reality.
"Sorry mom" i said. She shook her head in disappointment. I can see that she is disappointed on me but exactly for what reason. I know that parents are not very fond of me but at least they can take my side.
"Look Divya you have already messed up and now you're going to clean this mess" she said sternly. I was about to say something but Diya stopped me by squeezing my hand.
"We can't afford to lose such a big investment so today i have called Raghav on dinner and you are going to apologize to him." She said.
What? Apologize my foot.
"I'm not apologizing to him" i said.
"I wasn't asking you. I'm telling " mom said.
"I am also informing not taking your permission " i replied with a smirk. I'm done with my parents and I'm not listening to them at all. There was a time when i was ready to do anything to make them happy but now i have seen there true colors. I actually hate them for treating me and Diya like an object.
Mom glared at me. I know she is angry. This is the first time I am arguing with her and i don't even regret it.
"Divya mind your words" she yelled.
"Mom calm down. Don't worry I will talk to Divya " Diya spoke.
"You better " with these our great mother walked out of the living room.
"What was that?" Diya asks
"What?" I said with a shrug.
"Have you lost your mind. Mom was this close to slap you" she said.
"So what?? It's not like that I'm not slapped before " i said
"Divya please stop all this. Don't create any scene today " she begged me. I ignored her and walked upstairs.
"I am not apologizing " i said while walking inside her room.
"Divya it's just an apology " she said.
"You know Diya i don't apologize without any reason. Infact he should apologize me" i said sternly. She sighed knowing very well that i won't change my mind. Call me stubborn or rebellious but I'm like this only.
"Ok fine don't apologize but at least come for dinner " she said.
"Ok fine" i replied.
She gave me a hug and walked inside her closet. I sat down on the sofa. After few minutes Diya walked out of the closet with some clothes inher had.
"You wear this for tonight dinner " she said while handing me a floral print crop top and a white parallel pants. I nodded my head in yes.
I walked inside the bathroom to freshen up. I washed my face with a face wash. After that i decided to change my clothes and get ready for that boring dinner. I quickly wore my clothes. I looked pretty and beautiful. I found some earrings to match with my clothes. And tied my hair in a low ponytail.
"You Look gorgeous " Diya complimented me. I looked at her she was wearing a black sleeveless bodycon dress. She looks hot and sexy.
"I could say the same thing for you" i replied. She burst out in laughter making me smile too. My sister knows how to make me feel happy. She is the only one who cares for me.
"Ok now let's go, Raghav has already arrived " she said. I nodded my head and we walked downstairs together.
We walked inside the living room and saw mom and dad sitting there with our guest. They looked like an elegant and sophisticated couple. And then my eyes fell on the devil. His driver was sitting beside him. All of sudden Diya stiffened beside me.
"Are you ok?" I asked
"Yea...i am fine" she replied. Raghav can be scary and intimidating sometimes.
"Come let's have dinner " mom said. I decided to sit beside Diya. I decided to keep my mouth shut and inly concentrate on the food. I don't know when the dinner started and ended because i was too busy in ignoring a particular grey eye guy. I can feel him staring at me but i didn't even gave him a glance.
"Mr. Sinha i am extremely sorry for my daughter's behavior and infact Divya is also sorry for her behavior. Aren't you sweetheart?" Mom said. What an oscar winning performance!! If she wants me to play along then fine i will but i won't apologize. I nodded my head in yes.
"Oh really? But she doesn't look like she is sorry " Raghav taunts. I threw a glare towards him.
"Of course she's sorry infact she's going to apologize to you" mom justified.
"I haven't heard her apologize till now" he said. If he thinks i will apologize then he isso damn wrong. I looked at Diya.
"Raghav you know my sister is really sorry for her behavior " she said with a smile.
"No i don't know if she's sorry or not" he said.
"Divya apologize " mom said.
"Divu please..." Diya whispered near my ear. Everyone were waiting for my apology and i don't know what to do now. I looked at the wine glass and a smile crept on my face. They want me to apologize then fine i will apologize but in my style.
I took the wine glass and stood up. At first everyone were confused but when they saw me walking towards Raghav they realized that I have finally agreed to apologize. I stood beside Raghav and he turned his face towards me.
I gave him my sweetest smile and then i emptied the content of the wine glass on his face. The smile was still their on my face. I took napkin kept on the table and wiped his face.
"I'm so sorry Mr. Sinha but i don't know how the glass slipped from my hand and the wine fell in your face but I'm really sorry about it. Please forgive me " i said with a smile. Everyone gasped in shock. I looked at Raghav and His face had rage written all over it.
"You wanted me to apologize so here is my apology " i told to my mom. Diya quickly walked towards me and apologized to Raghav for my behavior. Then she took my hand and dragged me upstairs. She pushed me inside the room and closed the door behind her.
"HAVE YOU LOST IT DIVYA " she yelled. Maybe this is the first time that Diya is yelling at me. No matter what i do she never yells at me. I gulped nervously. This time i feel that i have done something very big.
"What happened? Are you angry that they will take away the investment then don't worry..."Â she cuts me off by saying
"I don't care about the investment. You don't know how dangerous Raghav is and I'm scare that he will hurt you" she said.
"Relax Diya he is just a CEO of a multinational company what can he do and plus my and his profession is totally different. So different worry " i assured her. Diya always worries when i am involved.
"You don't understand " she said irritatingly.
"I do and i actually don't want you to have any business dealing with him. You don't know but actually Raghav is Aakash's rival" i said.
"Divya do you know what you're saying. We need his investment it's important. Our company is on verge of bankruptcy " she said.
"What?? Bankruptcy?? Why you didn't told me about it " i asked
"Because i don't want you take unnecessary stress. I will handle it don't worry " she assured. I nodded my head in yes.
"If it's about investment then i can help. I can ask Aakash to invest but please don't take help from Raghav. I don't get a good vibes from him" i said.
"It's not about the investment Divya it's about the stunt you pulled downstairs. He's very dangerous and you have no idea about " she said. I rolled my eyes at her words and threw a taunt
"It's not like he's leader of some gang"
"Trust me he is" she replied but i was to busy to hear her words
"I actually don't give a damn about him
He is such.....Wait did you say that he's a leader of gang like a mafia thing" i asked. If Diya is saying the truth than I'm definitely screwed.
"Divya that's what i was trying to explain you. He's a mafia leader and he is not only Aakash's rival in business but also in underworld " she replied. I gulped nervously and sat down on the sofa.
"It means he kills people " i asked. I always knew thst Raghav is a dangerous person but i had no idea that he was so dangerous.
"I don't know actually but yes he is worst than Aakash. At least Aakash has some humanity but Raghav doesn't care about anyone. " Diya said.
"I really got myself into a very big problem didn't I?" I asked
She sat beside me and squeezed my shoulder.
"Don't worry I will handle everything. Tomorrow i will go and apologize to him on your behalf ok" she said.
"No you're not going. What if he hurts you or worst kills you" i said hurriedly. No i won't let my sister pay for my mistake.
"Divya calm down and don't worry nothing will happen. As you know we can't afford to lose this investment " she said. I gave her a forced smile.
"But promise me that you will stay away from Raghav and don't try provoke him more" she warned.
"Don't worry I have interest in meeting him again. So you don't have to worry about it " i said.
"Ok you stay here i will go and check what's happening downstairs " she said. I nodded my head in yes.
I have no interest in having any kind of relationship with him. And it's not like I'm going to meet him again. It was like the universe took my words as a challenge.
I was just thinking different sceneries to avoid Raghav when my phon pinged with a message. When i opened my chat box I saw a message from an unknown number. A chill ran down my spine when i read the message.

It didn't took even a second to realize who actually sent this message to me. Afterall there is only one person who calls me angel the great Raghav Sinha.
