DIVYA
I woke up quite late since i wasn't able to sleep last night. After the scene that happened at Aakash's house i was really disturbed.
But i have gut feeling that something is wrong?? This all doesn't make sense to be. I have seen love in Aakash's eyes for Ananya. There must be some solid reason behind all this. And today i am going to find out.
I quickly took a shower and got ready for my mission. I decided to wear a off shoulder crop top and blue jeans. I tied my hair in a ponytail and did a bit of makeup.
After i was satisfied by my look I decided to put my plan on work. I got inside my car and drove towards my destination.
I parked my car in the parking lot and walked inside the building. The receptionist didn't stopped since she already know who i am. I got inside the lift and pressed the button. The office is quite silent since its office hour and everyone busy in there work.
Without even knocking i directly walked inside his cabin.
"Good morning " i greeted. He was shocked will be an understatement. I walked towards his desk and sat down on the chair kept infront of him.
"What are you doing here??" He asks
"I just came to meet you" i replied with my sweetest smile.
"If you're here to give a lecture for yesterday, then you can leave " he said.
"No, i am not here for that" i said while playing with the paperweight.
"Then why the hell are you here?" He asked angrily.
"Aakash i have some questions for you and you can only give me an answer " i said.
"Aakash why're you doing all this " i asked.
"Shanaya already told you the reason " he said.
"I want to know the truth not what everyone else think about you" i said sternly.
"I know you since middle school and you are anything but not a cheater " i said.
"Maybe i am" he replied.
"Aakash you can act to be ruthless businessman but in reality you are a kindhearted person " I said. I need him to speak the truth. I know what i am seeing is not the truth.
"Aakash you do you know that we see that life as white and black but truth lies between both these color. The truth is one of the color between them" i said. He laughed at my words and said
"Did you ever thought to be a psychiatrist. Trust me you will be very successful in it." I smiled at his words.
He finally opened his mouth. He sighed and said
"You're right Divya, i didn't divorced Ananya because i don't love her. I did because i want to protect her"
"Protect? From whom?" I asked
"From my enemies. They're behind her" he replied
"From They're behind her you mean they want to kill her " i asked
"Yes" he replied. Oh my god!! I can't believe it Ananya's life is in danger.
"But why don't you tell her the truth instead of doing all this" i asked.
"I can't she won't understand " he replied.
"Wait... she doesn't know about your real identity right?" I asked. He didn't said anything but the silence told me everything.
"I can't believe it. How can you lie to her about your real Identity " i asked
"Divya she belongs to a normal family. She won't understand " he said.
"Aakash she loves you a lot and i am pretty sure if you told her the truth then she would have understood " i replied.
"Ok fine it's my mistake and i will tell her the truth when the time is right " he said. I shook my head in disappointment.
"But you're not Seriously thinking to leave her right?" I asked
"Of course not. When I am done with all this i will tell her the truth " that's great!!
"Divya you know the truth now but i don't want you to go around and tell everyone about it " he said
"But....." he cuts me off in the middle
"Look I don't want to involve many people in this. Please try to understand "
"Ok fine" i replied.
"I want another favor from you " he asked. I nodded my head encouraging him to continue.
"I have already appointed few bodyguards to protect Ananya but still i want you to with her and tell everything that happens around her or anything suspicious " he said. I gave him a smile and said
"Aakash, Ananya is also my friend so don't worry about her safety " i said.
"Thanks a lot"
"Anyways I will take my leave now " i said and stood up to leave.
I opened the door and was about to walk out of the room when i suddenly bumped into someone due to which i lost my balance. I closed my eyes and waited for the fall but it never happened.
I slowly opened my eyes and was met with a pair of cold grey eyes which sent a chill through my body. I gulped nervously. His warm hand was wrapped around my waist. He has placed his hand on the part were my skin is exposed now i regret wearing this crop top.
The feel of his hand on my body makes me feel uncomfortable. An electricity seems to flow around us as my skin came in contact with his. I quickly got back to my senses and pushes him away. I step away from him. I looked at him and he had a smirk plastered on his face.
I knew who he was afterall his grey eyes haunted me every night.
"What are you doing here " Aakash growled. He looks very angry.
"That too uninvited " Aakash spats. I really don't know why he hates him so much?? Nor i have any intention to know.
"Move i want to go " i said. He raised his eyebrow as if he was amused.
"Aakash won't you introduce your friend to me " He said.
"Divya met Raghav Sinha my one and only rival" Aakash spoke angrily.
What rival?? Holy crap!! Is my family doing business with Aakash's rival.
"Raghav move aside and let her go" he moved aside and gave me the path to go. I sighed in relief. When i was about to pass him he whispered near my ear.
"We will met soon my angel " chill ran down my spine.
I didn't said anything and just walked out of the cabin and closed the door behind me.
Today was really a tough day for me. There are so many new information that I found out today. And i really don't know what to do now. I was really tired so when i reached home I decided to change my clothes and take a nap.
I wore my favorite Mickey mouse pajamas and went to bed. I covered myself with a quilt and fell asleep.
I woke up when someone rang my doorbell. At first i thought not to open the door and the person will go away. I was really tired and want to sleep more but that stubborn person continued ringing the bell and I finally gave up.
I angrily walked towards the door and opened it. I was about to yell that person for disturbing my sleep but stopped when I realized who it is.
I frowned and thought that what the hell is she doing here?? This is really unexpected...
