Chapter 33: Author's Note:

Love Left Me, But I StayedWords: 1189

Why I wrote this book

This book was born from my own fall. A fall I never saw coming, one that shattered everything I thought I knew—about love, about trust, about myself.

For a long time, I tried to hold everything together, convincing myself that if I just tried harder, if I just gave more, things wouldn't slip through my fingers. But some things are not meant to be held. Some things are meant to break, not as punishment, but as a redirection. And when I finally let go, I learned the truth:

The fall is where we find ourselves. The rise is where we rebuild.

I wrote this book for anyone who has ever felt lost in the ruins of something they thought would last. For those who have clung to love that never fully arrived. For those who have searched for closure in places that could never give it.

I hope these words remind you that the fall is not your ending. It is only the beginning. You are not meant to stay where you broke. You are meant to rise—not as who you were, but as who you were always meant to become.

This is your journey now. I hope you find pieces of yourself in these pages, and now that you reached the end, I hope you choose to rise."_
