As me and Flynn were talking at our lockers, I saw Julie approaching us, in her own world with music blasting through her ears. Me and Flynn started laughing.
"Well hey there! Didn't think you would notice us you're so in the zone." I joked with her.
"Hey" She smiled, taking out her earphones. "What's up?"
"Nothing, just like seeing you be you again." I gave her a quick side hug as we all laughed. "Oh hey Flynn! Wanna hear some new songs me Luke and Jules wrote?" I asked Flynn. I'm so happy that I can find myself writing again. Most of the songs I'm writing myself are about a certain someone but still.
"Duh!" We all walked down to the music studio and me and Jules sat at the piano. "Julie and Luke mainly worked together writing this one." Me and Julie started playing and looked at Flynn as we sang.

"Wow I like it! Definite Gaga vibes" Flynn laughed as she rested her elbow on the piano. "Well thank you. This next one is something that mom and y/n were working on but Luke helped finish it." Flynn's face fell a bit as the words left Julie's mouth.
'And it's one, two, three, four times
That I'll try for one more night
Light a fire in my eyes
I'm going out of my mind'
I stood and went over to Flynn, she punched me lightly on the shoulder. "That's beautiful and on the other hand... My girl's got a crushhhhhhh, and his name is Luukkkeeee" She looked over to Julie.
"What?! Pfft.. no. Luke is a ghost, if you didn't notice." She tried to cover it up.
"And a cute ghost at that." I winked at her.
"...I can't deny that."
"See! You do like him!" Flynn teased her. "And you... Like Reggie! It's so obvious" I opened my eyes wide in shock at the smooth way she changed the subject.
"No- No no no. You've got that all wrong." I awkwardly laughed. "Whatever, everyone can see it." Flynn smiled. "Oh and um... I booked you guys to play at the dance! Yayyyy! Come on.. celebrate with me."
"You did what?!" Me and Julie said at the same time. "No no- This is in front of the whole school!" Julie stared at the sheet Flynn handed us. "Too late!" She started to walk away as we trailed behind her.
~BACK AT HOME~
After the news that we would be playing at the dance I just wanted to go and lie down before we told the boys. I was about to just walk right in when I heard talking coming from my room.
"No way." It was Reggie, "Luke listen to this. There is no way it isn't about me."
~YES I KNOW THIS SONG ISN'T A LOVE SONG BUT IT FIT WAY TOO PERFECTLY.~
"And then I found me a lover who could play the bass"
No way. They were reading the song! What had I told them about snooping around my room! I decided I would stay outside to hear more before I told them off.
"No wonder you knew it was about me" I heard Reggie laugh, "And what I told you about that flashback! 'He says he can't believe he found me, and wraps his arms around me'." He told Luke about the flashback!? What the hell Reggie!? "And this must be about when Julie or you ask her about it, 'you call me up and ask me how I've been, I'll call your bluff and I just keep on, tellin' tellin' tellin' tellin' you lies'. This is insane."
I can't believe he did that. I burst through the door to see Luke lying on Julie's bed, throwing a ball in the air, and Reggie sitting on mine reading the book. "What the hell are you guys doing in here!!? What did I tell you about snooping!?" I was so upset, infuriated. Luke poofed out right away but Reggie stayed.
"You wrote a song about me." He gave me that same smile that makes me so happy everytime I see it. I avoided his eye contact. "So you do like me?" He asked
"Yes, okay. I do. Was it really so hard to figure it out? How could I not. It's obvious there is something keeping us together. And that vision- or whatever it was just cleared it up for me okay? Of course I like you." I told him faster than I could think of what I was saying.
"Really? Well I like you too. And I genuinely thought that you were pretending to have seen that vision thingy with me. It answered quite a lot of questions." He stood up and come over to me.
"So..." I said, holding out my hand for him to take. He took it and smiled, "What now?" I laughed. "Erm... we go and see the guys."
"yuuuuup" I smiled. He still had my hand as he poofed out, not realizing that I would be poofed out with him. "Erm, where did you come from?! And how are you touching!?" Julie yelled. I was panicking. How did this happen?!
"Welll..." Reggie's pitch had went up 10 octaves.
"That's a long story.. and I was going to tell you I swear! In my defence we swore not to tell anyone and I kept that up! I can't speak for him though." I gave Reggie a death glare. I looked over at Luke who was making a sort of mocking face to me and Reggie as I realized I still had his hand in mine. I panicked and made eye contact with Reggie as we quickly let go of each other's hand and stood there awkwardly. Luke was smirking and laughing in my direction.
"So.. I told the guys about the dance." Julie told me.
"We're playing a dance? Cool!" Reggie laughed.
"It isn't exactly strip." Luke groaned.
"And you're not exactly alive so maybe you should be glad we have our first gig" Reggie looked at him and I couldn't hold in my laugh. "He has a point" I chimed in.
" I wasn't in love with the idea at first but it's how we're going to grow a following right?" Julie leaned on my shoulder.
"Yeah you're right, Let's rock those kids faces off and then play clubs!" Luke exclaimed.
"And then record a single that gets one million streams!" Julie added. "That's my sister alright." I laughed resting my head on hers.
"I don't know what that is but hopefully it gets us a manager and a tour"
"Then put out a bunch of albums!" I added.
"And put out a country album that does surprisingly well." Reggie smiled at us all, making us send him a questioning look. "Whatever floats your boat!" I laughed.
"What.. I shred on the banjo." He shrugged. "Then I guess I'll have to pull out my fiddle." I winked at him and he smiled.
"And before you know it, we're being inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame!" Luke exclaimed.
"Yeah!" The boys high fived and me and Julie did too.
"Well.. what are we waiting for? Let's rehearse!" Luke stood by his microphone, and I rolled my eyes at him. "What we're waiting for is Alex, dumbass." I looked over to him.
"Where is he?" Julie asked. "Maybe he is out with that cute ghost again.." I laughed.
"Who-?"
"Oh yeah.. erm.. Alex told me about the cute ghost he met when they bumped into each other as he was skating towards him and they talked for hours" I grinned.
"Why didn't he tell me..?" Luke sounded upset. "Okay I'm calling it. What sort of chemistry is going on between you two?!" I looked at Luke with a sense of urgency. "Well.. erm.. Alex and I might've been a slight thing in the 90's but it ended before it got too serious."Luke shrugged, trying not to make it a big deal.
"Awwwe, Lukey had a cruushhhh" I smirked at him.
"Yeah yeah.. now can we just focus on the song?" He tried to slide over the subject. We all nodded and began rehearsing. I kept looking over at Reggie. I was happy I told him how I felt. I was happy he was there. I was happy I even knew him. Alex then poofed in.
"Alex!!" I played him a little solo on my guitar to welcome him back. We all laughed.
"Hey! Come on in we need to practice, we booked a gig!" Luke gave him a high five.
"Really?! Where?" Alex smiled and looked around at all of us.
"Dance news! I don't have a date but that's okay cause I am stoked to see you guys perform!" Flynn walked in before we could answer his question.
"School dance. Right" He groaned. "Of course man, that's how we gain our following these days." Luke laid on the couch behind Alex, shoving us off to go over to Flynn.
"Yeah Alex get with the program!" Me and Julie said in unison. "Jinx!" We both yell again.
"I swear you guys are twins." Reggie sighed, laughing. "The guys are here?" Flynn asked fixing her hair and waving the wrong way. "Other direction sweetie." I guided her hand to face the guys and they waved back. I wish she could see them.
"Okay now that Alex has returned to his family we can rehearse!" Luke jumped up, feeling motivated. "Yeah! Let's go!" I yelled, smiling. Julie sat by her keyboard as I became back to back with Reggie. As I smiled and tuned my guitar, Luke wiggled his eyebrows my way. I glared back at him but smiled quickly after.
"Wanna stick around?" Julie asked Flynn.
"I have to blow up 500 balloons but this sounds so much better." She smiled.

Oh, I'm so tired. I hope you liked this chapter and my song choice.(Go listen to Pierre by Ryn Wear :) ) I love the song so so much and it just fits too perfectly not to use and yes I know it's not a love song but I just- I couldn't not use it. I think this chapter is one of the best I've wrote and I'm once again, super proud of it so I hope you enjoyed reading it :)
