After a few hours of rehearsing with the guys, me and Julie walked into the house, laughing and singing under our breath. We walked into Carlos searching around the kitchen, tablet in hand.
"What are you doing?" Julie asked, puzzled.
"I'm looking for those orb things." He answered, too busy searching to look at us. "I'm telling you, this place is haunted. Every time I open my laptop.. its on some sort of.. rock music site. That ain't me, I'm all about that rap"
"Reggie." I chuckled under my breath. He is always wanting to look at rock music on our phones.
"I'm just trying to protect you" Carlos told us, as we started to make our way through the kitchen to the living room. "I'd be careful in there, dad has that look on his face." We glanced at each other and swiftly walked through the corridor.
We were greeted by our dad around the corner. Arms cross and a very unhappy look spread across his face. "Care to tell me why you missed the first three classes today?"
"I- erm- we-" I stuttered, trying to think of an excuse but then Julie butted in.
"We overslept at Flynn's house after the dance." She burst out. I gave her a look, she could never lie to dad.
"There was nothing going on in the classes anyway, I swear." I told him. "It won't happen again."
"Okay, but if you missed class it's only a matter of time before..." Dad was cut off by the door slamming.
"I came as fast as I could!" Tia yelled, "Girls, I will not let you fall into the gutter of life!"
"Tia, we're fine. We just slept in a little and we already talked to dad about it." We smiled at her, hoping it would just brush over. But when it comes to Tia, she has taken it into her own hands to punish us after our mom passed.
She sighed, "You are far from fine, I called your teacher, she said you both missed a calculus test!"
There was a scoff from the other side of the room, "Nothing going on, huh?" Dad added, that face creeping back over us.
"Dad, I'm so sorry." Julie told him.
"This is where you punish her." Tia looked at him expectantly.
"I know.. Julie, y/n.... No more going out on school nights."
"But, dad, tonight-" He cut me off.
"And both of you, go to your room."
"What else?"
"What? And... and read," Dad stuttered, trying to decipher the hand motions Tia was making. "Study- Calculus" He finally got it. "Go!"
We made our way upstairs, giving Tia eyes as we went. We collapsed on our beds, sighing. I sat and unlocked my phone to be met with a message from Cameron.

C: Hey Molina!
Y/n: Hey Cameron, what's up?
C: Not much, just checking how you were. When are you free?
Y/n: I'm good thanks :) and I'm not too sure, think I may have just got grounded, why?
C: Oh that sucks, I was gonna ask if maybe you wanted to hangout or something?
Y/n: That would be cool. As friends, right?
C: Well.. I was hoping maybe it could be a date.
Y/n: Oh.. well, I guess we're not hurting anyone... why not? :)
C: Awesome! Talk to you tomorrow
Y/n: See you
As I was smiling down at my phone, Julie spotted me. "What are you all smilie about? We just got grounded."
"What? Oh.. I'm not smiling."
"Yes you are! Who are you talking to?! I'm sure Reggie won't know how to text." She joked.
"Fine, Cameron asked me out." I put my phone down on the bed and layed on the headboard.
"WHAT?!" She sprung up from her bed, "You didn't tell me you had a crush on the living as well!"
"Oh shut up. He asked for my number in dance and I couldn't exactly say 'No you cannot have my number as I have a crush on a ghost at this moment' could I?"
"Well... I guess not. But you did just confess to liking him!"
"Yup. Guess I did." I sat up at the head of my bed and an arm came through the door and knocked on the inside. It had to be Reggie. I would recognise the leather jacket anywhere.
"What are you guys doing?" Julie asked. Reggie then stuck his head through the door. "We're being classy" He winked and we laughed at him.
"Why are you still here? We're going in like... twenty minutes" Luke told us and Reggie lay on my bed in front of me and smiled. "Hi" I whispered looking down at him and he just looked up at me.
"Well... we lied to our dad so now we have to study all night." Julie told them and the boys' face fell.
"Yeah, but we just came from the venue. I mean, it's packed. Like, VIPs, managers. It's kind of crazy."
"But what are we going to do about our aunt?" I asked.
"She is right downstairs" Julie added.
"You're not taking the stairs." Luke pointed to the window.
"Oh yeah, why didn't I think of that?" I asked myself.
"Okay, we'll get dressed and meet you guys here." Julie told them as the poofed out. We got ready and adorned clothes that used to be our mom's. Julie wearing her jacket and me wearing one of her dresses.
We made our way to the venue, sneaking out of the window and avoiding being seen. We ran in to be greeted by Flynn. "Are we too late?"
"Too early"
"Dirty Candy? How did she get on the list?" Julie asked.
"Her dad called in a favour probably" I told them, trying to hide how proud of her I was but Reggie saw right through me. I gave him a look as to say 'Keep quiet, please'.
Upbeat music started playing and a sea of colours flooded the stage.

All of a sudden, Alex poofed onto the stage joining Dirty Candy. He danced with the group and messed with Carrie. I wish everyone could've seen this.
'Some might say I sound conceited
They don't get the shine that I get

"You having fun out there?" I asked as Alex poofed back to us.
"It's not my fault, it's my um.. It's my feet.
"Yeah"
"Put me back in coach" He poofed back on stage and we laughed as he went.
"Oh it's the guys" Julie explained to Flynn.

Alex giggled, "Making me blush" he said as he soaked in the applause. "I was just... I was just doing that for you guys." He shrugged.
"Mmhmm, yeah you can stop smiling now" Julie said, I dug my elbow into her arm and laughed.
"I'm not gonna lie... That was kinda good." Julie said.
Kinda? That was amazing, Carrie should be so happy.
"Yeah, I almost forgot why I hate her so much" Flynn told her.
Carrie came from the stage, I stepped forward before she could greet the girls and hugged her.
"What this for y/n?"
"I'm so proud of you!" I told her as I pulled away, seeing her smile. "You did great". I then went and stood with Julie again, waiting for the comment.
"Hi girls, isn't it past your bedtime?" There it is.
"Now I remember." Flynn continued.
"If you're looking for Nick, he's not here. Neither is Camron y/n" She talked to Julie harshly but smiled when she turned to me. Confusion painted Flynn and Reggie's face.
"That's not why we're here" Julie told her as she saw the announcer proceed to the stage.
"Okay, looks like we're closing the night out with one more group, "Julie and the.. Fat Ones."
Oh God no.
Carrie laughed.
"Really?"
"Yeah man, my handwriting sucks." Luke sighed and we made our way onto the stage.
"Hi, it's actually 'Julie and the Phantoms'" Julie corrected the announcer as she sat at her keyboard and I put my guitar around my neck and stood at the mic on the far side.
"Okay." I sighed and signalled for Julie to start playing.

I joined her in singing after the first verse, a big smile spreading across my face as I looked at my sister.

Then the boys poofed in, Reggie standing right in front of me as we shared the mic. We started to dance together, back to back and swaying with the music.

Julie walked over to Luke and pulled him away from his mic. I glanced at Alex and we both shared the same expecting smirk.

Me and Julie harmonized the last note as the crowd roared with cheers and applause. As soon as the music stopped the guys disappeared again, causing the audience to go into a state of confusion.
"Thankyou, we're Julie and the Phantoms." Jules said.
"Tell your friends!" I added.
We ran off the stage to be greeted by Flynn. "You were incredible!" She told us.
"Yeah we were" Luke agreed.
I went and stood next to Reggie as Julie talked to Flynn.
"Nice ending quote" He told me.
"Thanks," I chuckled "Learned it from the best" I winked and went to stand next to Julie again. Smiling as I walked away.
"Hey. Hey! Whoever Carrie was trying to impress is heading this way!" Luke warned us.
"She looks all business" Alex added.
"Wait- who should do the talking?" Reggie asked. We all looked at him and then everyone pointed to me. "Right."
"Me? What about Julie?!" And before I got an answer I was shaking the woman's hand.
"Hi, I'm Andi Parker, and I would..." She started.
"Y/n, Julie." Our dad was standing behind her. Oh no. "It's time to go."
