Chapter 41:
Heâs both handsome and talented. Iâm one of his millions of fans.â
âAh! My idol is here as well! There arenât many female professional racers. Sheâs made it this far on her own.
Go, girl! Go!â
The excitement among the guests was electric, with applause and cheers ringing out even before the race started.
At the refereeâs signal, a dozen professional race cars took off in a flash.
Amidst the cheers, a sleek red car surged ahead, winning by a clear margin.
âThat was incredible!â
âWho is that racer?â
âI couldnât see clearly, but the driver was amazing.â
As the crowd eagerly awaited, the racer made his way to the podium.
He took off his helmet, revealing his blonde hair and striking green eyes.
He wasnât from Multitopia, which surprised everyone.
âOh my! Heâs so handsome!â Adelina exclaimed, suddenly standing up and waving her arms.
âYou are my idol! I love you!â
This racer fit Adelinaâs type perfectly, and more importantly, she wanted to grab attention while the crowd was quiet.
Adelina felt the stares on her, and her vanity swelled with satisfaction.

Earlier, all eyes had been on Harlee, as everyone was curious about the only black card holder there. Now, having stolen the spotlight, Adelina shouted even louder, wishing she could rush over and kiss the winner.
However, the racer glanced over with a smirk and suddenly said, âWho do you think you are? Stop making me sick!â
His words left Adelina stunned. She had not anticipated such rudeness.
Wasnât he supposed to blow her a kiss and make the crowd go wild?
âDamn it! Check your own reflection before coming here and yelling to grab my attention. Such an ugly woman! Youâre not my type at all,â the racer continued, disdain dripping from his voice as if even another glance at Adelina might make him vomit the next second.
Adelinaâs face flushed bright red, feeling as if she had been stripped bare and publicly shamed. She wanted nothing more than to find a hole to hide in.
She began to sob. With no shield in sight, she turned and buried herself in Collinâs arms.
Immediately, everyoneâs attention shifted to Collin, whose expression darkened.
Adelina had just declared her love for another man in front of him, which was already embarrassing. Now, he realized things could get even worse.
If it hadnât been for the Gill family, he would have pushed Adelina away.
Seeing Adelinaâs reaction, the racer shot a scornful look before looking away.
He glanced around and mocked, âIs this really the best you folks from Multitopia can do? Your women are too ugly to look at, and your racers are just embarrassing themselves. I came all this way, hoping for some exciting competition. What a letdown!â
Rhys had just returned to the racetrack and overheard these arrogant comments. The managerâs expression shifted dramatically.
