"I love it how you just plan a sleepover without my permission, cause you know? I always have time for that stuff," he sarcastically says with a roll of the eyes. I smile at him and pat his arm gently.
"You're welcome! Claudia hasn't met Nova yet, which she needs to and it's a public holiday today so there couldn't be a better day than today!" I exclaim. He sighs and reaches over and places his hand on my thigh. My eyes zone in on the hand, I don't say anything; I just stare. Does he realise what he just did? Cause I'm not positive that he does realise.
"You could have informed me earlier so I was more prepared, I had things going on tonight but I guess I'll have to cancel," he sighs and takes his hand off my leg and uses it to rub his face.
"For me?" I blink at him trying not to smile. He briefly looks at me then grabs my hand gently, intertwining our fingers. I try not to comment on his 'dangerous' acts.
"I'd do anything for you."

We get out of the car, I look over at Claudia and gesture for her to come over to me. She skips gleefully to me, we hook our arms together and begin to walk inside. "Why hello there," I hear Nova's voice coming from the couch; there she is in all her glory. She smiles at me and hugs me then looks at Claudia whom is staring , "you must be the Claudia Miller, am I right?"
Claudia blinks then grins, gesturing to herself. "In the flesh." She hugs Claudia as a greeting. "It's nice to meet you!" Claudia exclaims.
"It's nice to meet you too," Nova replies. she replies. Nova looks behind us and grins waving, I zone out after that. I watch as the guys introduce themselves to Claudia, and she doesn't seem to care one bit that they are gang members.
"It's funny how you don't even care that they are gang members," I voice my thoughts with a chuckle.
"That doesn't really matter to me. It doesn't define who they are, maybe except for you..." she points at Titus whom doesn't look impressed with the glare he's giving her. "You should know that I've been through way worse than a creepy gang member glaring at me," he scowls and rolls his eyes. "Seriously dude. Just because you have a cold face on doesn't make you cold, you will always change for that one person," I look at Val who is playing a game on his phone. He looks so concentrated, how can he not have a double chin when looking down? Now this is bothering me.
"Let's eat!" Zac exclaims, they all holler and walk to the dining room. He also makes Val get distracted from his game and look up- straight at me. I shake my head and walk inside.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" Everyone in the room is chanting apart from Nova and I. Aidan and Landon are at it again, their fighting never stops. Nova and I are both frowning, none of us are a fan of violence. Claudia looks over at us and comes and sits down, I look at her.
"Did you see their gory fight?" I ask her, she shakes her head in confusion."When these guys fight- even play fight it can get pretty bad, blood knuckles, blood noses, bruises and intense fighting. After we first watched them fight we decided to never watch them again, I don't like fighting," I frown at this. It was ages ago. I think it was a fight between Titus and Landon, Landon ended up in the hospital with a broken collarbone.
"You don't like your guys being in a gang?" Claudia asks looking between Nova and I. Val and I aren't together, so why should I care? But I do. I've also known Mike for ages and I hate the idea of him in a gang; it was so unexpected. We both shake our heads at Claudia's question.
"Hate it. He could get killed!" Nova exclaims.
"Well Val and I aren't dating..." I trail off. There's nothing for me to say, wouldn't it be wrong of me to admit that I care a lot that he's in a gang. I care about everyone in this gang; including Landon.
"But you like him!" Nova sings pinching my cheeks. I frown and slap her hands away from my face, she's annoying me and mocking me.
"Last night you called him your boyfriend when you were telling us who he was," Nova looks at Claudia in surprise, I 'playfully' glare at Claudia. Why'd she have to say that? Nova will not shut up about this! I'm not going to show her how I really feel; which is peeved.
"Fine." I grumble having enough of everyone constantly asking. "I like him a teensie- bit." Nova and Claudia give me a look and I groan throwing my head back in annoyance, "fine more than a teensie bit!" They look at each other happily. Why does everyone thrive in my misery?
"We knew that already," Claudia waves me off too casually for my liking. I scowl at them both and cross my arms over my chest. What is it? Pick on Willow day?
"I wonder when Amalia and Cadence are coming over next," I change the subject not wanting to talk about Valentino and I. When liking Valentino, or even dating him.... a lot of problems come with him. You don't just live a normal life anymore, that's just how it is. You have to love with a protective, annoying man. All he knows is to protect and never give up. That's what he does!
"Who are they?" Claudia asks. I guess my plan worked after all.
"Amalia Grey and Cadence Wright?" I question. She shakes her head thinking carefully.
"Are Jarrad and Amalia siblings?" She asks. Nova and I look at each other then start laughing very loudly, that's the funniest thing I've heard all day! After laughing so much, we both sober up with a cough and a sigh.
"Amalia and Jarrad are a couple- they're married!" Nova exclaims, she looks surprised as her moth forms an 'o' shape and she nods slowly. "Cadence is Aidan's girlfriend, they're both cool and are our good friends. I think that Cadence's little sister likes Titus, she's not that much younger than us though. She's 22, her names Emberly and Titus is really protective over her. She makes him good, I think he likes her; finally, after what happened to Jasmine..." Nova trails off, she gasps and slaps her hand over her mouth with wide eyes. She realised her mistake, we promised we wouldn't say anything and we won't.
"It's okay, I won't say anything or ask any questions about her." She smiles in understanding at the both of us but I still feel nervous. Nova can't say anything.
I twirl my dark hand around my finger and sigh giving Nova a look. "Titus will kill you Nova." Nova gulps but shrugs it off, she has a nervous look on her face.
"So you know how Mike and I have been together for like 5 months as a married couple?" Nova looks between the two of us, where is this going? Once she realises Claudia doesn't know she apologises. "Oh, you didn't know. Sorry Claudia," she waves her off and waits for Nova to continue. "Come here, I don't want anyone hearing this!" She hisses.
Claudia and I both look at each other, she shrugs then we both move closer towards her. I hope nothing is wrong. I'm anxious to know what's wrong, "Hurry up will you?" I hiss.
"I'm pregnant," she squeaks. Nova is pregnant? Even though they haven't been married for very long it's still okay because they've know each other practically all their lives! I'm so happy for her! Th air fills with silence around us except for the boys shouting, then we explode.
"Oh my god! Congratulations!" Both Claudia and I exclaim.
"Thank you girls." She places her hand on her stomach and sighs looking over at Mike, of course he will be happy! She is just overthinking things as usual. This will make their relationship grow.
"You gotta tell him. How long have you been pregnant for?" Whispers Claudia.
"Well I went to the doctors to know for sure, he said I'm about 6 weeks along and the bumps starting to show. I think he realises I've put on a bit but he hasn't said anything, I think I'm going to tell him,"
She nods firmly and stands up with a straight back. I have a feeling this is a very bad idea.
"No, in private," I say, Nova shakes her head.
"STOP IT!" Nova screams gaining the attention from everyone. They all freeze and stare in worry cause Nova isn't a shouting person. Mike steps forward looking at his wife in worry and Landon and Aidan seperate from each other.
"Baby, are you okay?" He asks in worry as Claudia and I give each other worried looks. She should tell him in a private area.
"I'm pregnant," she blurts out, I can't help but face palm. I look up and stare at the exchange between them, it's too silent. Nova's eyes prickle with tears, "say something, please."
A grin slowly forms onto his face, he lifts her into his arms and her legs wrap around his waist. She lets the tears fall freely and Mike honestly looks so happy, I can see tears forming in his eyes. He walks to the couch with her in his arms and places her down gently. Mike looks at Nova's stomach and reaches out to place a hand on it, "you make me so happy Nova."
Nova smiles, "I love you Mike."
"I love you too baby," he whispers. I pretend he didn't say that. He carries her bridal style out of the room and up the stair case and out of our sight. Everything is silent, then everyone cheers even though Nova and Mike are no longer in the room. I feel bad for doubting Nova's plans because they worked out well. Val walks over to me and places his hand on the small of my back.
"Goodnight everyone!" Claudia exclaims walking up the stairs with Zac. We all shout out a goodnight and I look at Valentino. He's staring at me.
"Want to go to bed?" He asks me lowly. Does he mean 'do you want to go to bed with me?' Or by myself? "With me," he adds sensing my confusion. I gulp, this is a big step for me. But I've slept in the same bed with him before, I think.
"Okay," I whisper. We walk up the stairs to his room and when we enter, he turns on the fan while I get under the covers then he lays next to me. It's silent but peaceful, no awkwardness.
"Willy?" He softly asks. My heart flutters and I look at him slowly, his face is serious and I know that he's going to say something important. I'm scared for what he has to say, I'm so freaking scared.
"Yes?" I reply back.
He gulps and looks me up and down before whispering the the four dreaded word question. "Do you like me?" Silence stinks the air and I think. Do I like him? Maybe. Does he make me happy? Yes. Have I forgave him? Yes. Does my heart flutter when he's around? Yes. Yes, I like Valentino Lacuna.
"Yes Valentino, I like you."
He releases the air from his lungs and then grabs me and smashes his lips onto mine in a powerful meaningful kiss. Our lips separate after a while, "and I love you." My heart beat accelerates at what Valentino says.
