Have you ever felt empty? It's a weird feeling. You feel sad but at the same time you feel nothing. It's one of the worst feelings, sometimes you don't even know if you're alive. Pain is what reminds us that we are alive.
I don't care about anything. The image of Kane keeps replaying in my head, giving me nightmares when I'm awake. I can never escape it. I just want to forget. I want to do something that will make me forget for a while. I don't want to cry anymore. I should cry but I don't want to, it hurts.
"Cadence!" Aidan exclaims, I look over at him and take notice of a girl with dark hair, it's not exactly black but it's not exactly a brown. I'd say it's really dark brown because it looks almost black. Cadence has really beautiful brown eyes, kind of with a hazel tint, a pale complexion, she's really skinny and has tiny curves and she's kind of tall- more medium sized.
Cadence grins as Aidan pulls her to his body and presses a kiss onto her cheek, she looks up at him and kisses him on the lips. It's a slow meaningful kiss so I look away to see the girl that was behind Cadence. Now this girl has brown hair, she's really pretty too! Her eyes are a chocolate brown and her skin is olive, she's really skinny but not too skinny and she does have curves and don't get me started on those eyebrows.... Like Cadence, her eyebrows are on fleek! They both are taller than me though.
She looks around and spots me sitting on the couch all alone so she starts to walk over towards me. She sits next to me and turns her body so she's facing me and she grins, "hello, I'm Emberly!"
"Hi.... I'm Willow. Cool name, by the way." The front door opens yet again and Jarrad walks in holding a girls hand with straight brown hair, pale skin but not really pale, dark brown eyes that have a sparkle to them and she's short. "Who is that?"
"Oh, that's Amalia Grey- Jarrad's wife. The girl who I walked in with is my sister, Cadence and her boyfriend is Aidan whereas I'm a single Pringle," she winks and I laugh. I'd rather not have a god damn hot gang leader after me!
"How old are you guys?" I ask.
"Well I'm 22, Cadence is 24, Aidan is 24, Jarrad is 25, Amalia is 23. I'm the youngest as well as Chris, so how old are you?" Wow Emberly, Cadence and Amalia are soooo pretty, why can't Val go after a girl like them? I'm just a normal, 21 year old woman not ready to find love yet!
"I'm 21, my best friend Nova is also 21... you know Mike Saunders, right?" I ask, she nods with a small grin. "Well Mike and Nova are getting married, we didn't even know that Mike was in a gang and when I found out after his gang leader kidnapped me I was pretty mad," her mouth drops open.
"Val kidnapped you?" Her jaw clenches as I nod, "was Titus in on this?" She spits, wowowowow chill girl, joking she can get all ape on him I don't really care. I simply shrug because really I can't remember if he was there, maybe he was one of the dudes in the car I really don't know. I was more focused on the fact that Valentino killed my brother and was out for me too but instead of killing me he claimed me as 'his' which I'd rather die! When Titus comes into view she stands up and storms over to him, he grins when he sees her.... wait..... GRINS!! What has this world come to? Titus actually grinning! His grin drops when he sees the angry look on her face and her charging at me like a raging bull.
"Oh a lovers quarrel is about to begin." I hear Aidan say to Cadence, everyone who is here stares at them in complete amusement. Well, except for me, I look at them in complete confusion.
"Were you apart of kidnapping her?!" She exclaims angrily and points to me, Titus looks at me then back at her. He puts on a blank emotionless face and she quietly screams in frustration, "don't do that to me, Titus... don't do that. Stop treating me like one of the people you kill, stop looking at me like you don't care," she whispers looking down at the floor in sadness.
He grabs her chin between his pointer finger and thumb and makes her look up at him, he looks at her with so much emotion. "You will never be one of them Emberly, you'll always be much more than that," he whispers gruffly. "And no-" he looks at me, "- I didn't kidnap her too." Think Willow. Think! I gasp, yes he was in on this too. He was in the passenger seat! I glare at him and he glares back warning me not to say anything, but right now I'm thinking of Emberly and how upset she would be at him then how upset Titus would be because he obviously cares a lot about her. But I'm also thinking about me and Kane, he was apart of his murder. She's something more than friends to him. She wraps her arms around his waist and he slowly wraps his arms around her, he lifts her up and she wraps her legs around his waist; he buries his face into her neck. Cute. I'm about to tell Emberly that yes, he was involved but I'm interrupted unfortunately.
"YO YO YO! WHAT UP HOES?!" Nova shouts awakening the whole household, I don't want Valentino to wake up yet Nova. When she notices new people she grins and introduces herself, Amalia and Cadence both walk over to me and smile softly.
"I'm Amalia and this is Cadence," she points at Cadence, I grin and wave at them both.
"I'm Willow," Aidan slings an arm over my shoulder and ruffles my hair, I glare up at him.
"We're best buddies, aren't we Willow?" I scoff, Cadence smirks and laughs. Aidan pouts.
"Rejection hurts doesn't it, buddy?" I fire back emphasising on the word 'buddy' he places a hand over his heart. Everyone goes silent, well the guys do so then the girls do too. Their eyes travel to Aidan's arm which is on my shoulder, I think I know what's happening here.
"Don't touch her, she's MINE," yep my guess was right. I swear I'm psychic! Aidan drops his arm, he doesn't look affected though. He spins around and I do too, Valentino scowls at him and walks down the stairs. Does he have to make such a dramatic entry that turns eyes and heads or whatever? As soon as he makes it all the way down the stairs he walks to me and wraps an arm around my waist, Cadence and Amalia look at us in confusion.
"Val you're actually dating someone?" Cadence asks in surprise, I look at her in disgust and shudder. Not in a good way.... I shake my head very quickly, no way in hell would I date him.
"Ew no," Valentino scowls at me. "He kidnapped me for peeps sake! He killed my brother, I find him standing over his body so I run and when I'm outside he tackles me then claims me as his and now he's protective and sh*t," Val growls lowly.
I look around, wondering if any of them are single. I'm sure everyone here is taken but I can't really remember.
"If any of you are single you can definitely have him. I don't want anything to do with him," I smile 'sweetly.'
"Do you have to tell everyone? You make me sound like a bad person," I look at him in disbelief. He's joking, right?
"I think that's the look where she's saying in her mind 'what the hell you are a bad person,' Valentino," Aidan laughs, Val's arm tightens around me.
"Go f*ck yourself," Val spits out, Aidan laughs in complete amusement.
"That's what Cadence is for," he winks, Cadence gasps and slaps him. He pouts and she storms away, "well this is my cue to go after her and apologise to her then we'll have mind blowing make up angry sex. Which I always pretend I'm angry so we can have sex, well sometimes I do get angry and yeah it's pretty rough.." I cover my ears, Amalia walks away in disgust and Valentino doesn't look very much affected he just cringes.
"We don't need to hear about your sex life with Cadence, Aidan," I mutter pulling my hands away from my ears. He grins and waves me off before walking away to go find Cadence and most likely to have sex with her...
"Baby, please talk to me," Mike follows Nova around like a lost puppy. Let me explain, so after I told her that they killed my brother she assumed he was apart of it which most likely he knew about it so she got really upset and mad at him- she even made him sleep somewhere else that was not near her. She ignores him and walks over to me, she hugs me and I hug her back, in the process Valentino releases me and I'm silently thanking Nova.
We pull away, noticing Mike now standing there, "go away Mike." He grabs her wrist when she's about to walk away and he pulls her to him.
"I didn't know anything about them going to kill Kane, okay? It was my time to spend with you and they knew that I was planning on proposing to you so they didn't tell me much okay Nova?" He looks upset and broken, is this what love is like?
Nova looks at Val for confirmation, he simply nods. She sighs and turns to Mike, she wraps her arms around him and he smiles in content kissing her face like literally peppering it with kisses.
"I can't stand you being mad at me," he mutters, I block them out and look around at the whole group. Really, they are just normal people wanting to fit in and be something well do something with their lives. Yet, they are failing as the best thing they can do in their eyes is kill people. I notice Landon chatting up Emberly, gosh he's such a flirt!
"Oh no," Val mutters, he's also looking at the exchange but he looks at Titus who is fuming. Steam is practically coming out of his ears! He storms up to them and straight away tackles Landon to the floor, he yelps and Titus throws punch after punch at him. Landon kicks Titus off him which I don't know how because Landon is so tiny compared to Titus, Landon punches him. No one is really trying to stop it except for Emberly, us girls are looking at the fight with horrified faces. This is some gory sh*t. Nova and I run over there trying to stop the fight but they won't quit it.
"Enough!" Valentino shouts, I look at him and wrap my arms around myself. He is looking at me, he walks over to me and I freeze in shock as he hugs me tightly in a protective matter. "You scared her," he hisses at them, they both have stopped now.
"He was flirting with her, Val," Titus growls lowly, wait they're a thing? "How do you feel when some guy flirts with Willow, what if it was some guy you knew?" Val tenses and I feel his fists clench.
"I'd kill him," I look over at Emberly who is covering her eyes while Titus is holding her, she's crying. He looks down at her as a sob escapes her mouth, his jaw clenches and he looks like he's in pain. He runs a hand through her hair and carries her away.
"Valentino," I quietly whisper, he looks down at me. "Are they a thing?" I ask and he shakes his head no.
"They say they aren't. They aren't dating or anything because something happened to his girlfriend, I don't know if I should call her that because really they aren't together anymore because she's no longer here. But he's protective over her, Emberly likes him but Titus never admits that he obviously likes her," he mutters.
"So you think Titus likes her?" I ask.
"I think it's more than like, I think it's love."

Omg it's so hot! It's 40 degrees Celsius and I'm dying, lucky I have a pool but I don't feel like swimming but The aircons on so I'm all good.
