Both Anna and Luna were flying all over the room, getting each other ready for the party in just a couple hours. I was sitting on the bed, finding the inner peace. "Bailey!" Anna yells, causing my inner peace to yeet itself out of my body.
"What do you want, woman?!" I scream.
"You're sitting here in a sweatshirt, and sweats! Get ready! We only have two hours left."
I never took Anna for a fashion lover, but then again, she wears lipstick and eyeliner all the time. Her style always screams 'all eyes on me, or I'll run you over with a truck'. I roll my eyes at her before standing up and grab the jumpsuit Adrian had bought me.
I disappear into the bathroom, and change out of my sweatshirts and sweatpants and into the silky material of the expensive ass jumpsuit. I glance at myself in the mirror.
Oh my god.
My hair looks like a bird's nest! Have I always been this skinny? And flat? Does this dress always work magic on whoever wears it, because I look like I belong on the runway. Then again, if I did show up on the runway, the others would be running away.
I'm such a poet. Where's my medal, bitches?! I shoot finger guns at myself in the mirror before leaving the bathroom. When I step into the bedroom, both Luna and Anna stop panicking and turn to me, gawking.
"Does it look good?" I ask, nervously.
"Does? It? Look? Good?" Luna squeals. "You look like a goddess! Apart from your hair that looks like a bird's nest, which we'll need to fix of course, you look amazing! I'm jealous. Do you see this bloating tummy? No one said being pregnant we mean I won't have a flat belly anymore."
"That's exactly what being pregnant means, Luna."
"Okay, Anna needs to get dressed now. Then me. After that, we'll do each others' make up, and everything will be okay again!"
"Your date is Adrian right?" Anna asks, as she begins to undress.
"I'm going with Kaden. But it's fine, I'll spend the rest of the party with Adrian."
Anna raises her eyebrows like she's surprised. "And Adrian's okay with this?"
"I told him Kaden's like a brother."
"Well, color me surprised," She mutters, as she slips into a dress as red as sin. It had a low neck, but flowed down past her ankles and onto the floor. It was off shoulder, which meant she got to expose her smooth, tan, shoulders.
Blake would be begging on his knees for her, tonight. So will most of the male population.
I turn to Luna, who's wearing a silver dress that flowed down just like Anna's. Her dress wasn't off shoulder, but it looked just as sexy. I felt like a saint in comparison to them.
I grab a brush off the dresser and begin to run it through my blonde hair aggressively. My mind begins to wander back to when my dad would pull my hair as he dragged me into the apartment. I brush my hair harder, gripping the brush with a death-hold.
Stop. Think of the good things. Think of Adrian. Think of his body against yours. Think of the gifts he got you. I slow down the speed at which I'm brushing my hair.
Soon, my hair is sitting flat and smoothly on my heat. "Let me do your hair," Luna offers. "Sit down."
I watch Anna easily do her wavy wild hair into something incredibly beautiful. When Luna's done with my hair, we have one hour left before we have to leave for the party. Do you think Adrian would think that I look good?
I can't wait to see what Adrian's wearing. I bet he'd look hot in anything he's wearing. He could even wear a dress and pull it off while still making girls drool all over him.
But he'd look better without anything on him. That version of him is only reserved for me. Thank you very much.
Is it bad that I want to see Adrian right now? Like I know it's just supposed to be the 'girls' but like... I mean... he's Adrian.
Patience, Bailey. All good things comes to those who are patient.
Yeah, well, I'm impatient and I want to see Adrian right now! "Hey, watch the face!" I cough. "Is that makeup?!"
"Yeah, you can't expect to go to a party without one," Anna rolls her eyes as she dabs my face with makeup. "You look perfect now!"
"It feels weird to talk with lipstick," I mumble, careful not to talk too much. Or then I'll get lipstick all over my face and I'll never be able to take it off! I'll forever be known as the lipstick girl! No one's ever going to be my friends because my face will be a deep maroon color! Adrian will ditch me for some other girl who-
I think I'm getting carried away.
But I should kiss Adrian with my lipstick on. Mark your territory as the professionals say.
"I think we're all done," Anna claps her hands. "And thirty minutes ahead of schedule! Blake's going to be so proud when he listens to this."
"Great! You go see Blake while I go to Adrian," I squeak, practically rushing out of the room and down the stairs.
"Blake, my eye!" I hear Dylan scream. "I'm blind!"
"You're so extra!"
"I'm hot and extra!"
"I hate both of you," Adrian groans, chucking a piece of orange at Blake. Blake screams, and returns the favor by throwing it back at Adrian. But my eyes are glued on Adrian's outfit.
He's wearing a white, button up shirt with a black suit on top, which slightly tightens around his biceps. He's wearing formal, black pants, and an obvious expensive belt. His black shoes bring his entire outfit to life.
And it's also making me drool. "You look hot," I drawl, not being able to remove my eyes from his body. His hair is neatly laid back, making him look more dark and dangerous than usual.
He gets off the couch and makes his way towards me. Someone try to stop my heart from running away! Stop it! His eyes rake my body, taking every part of me in. "You look hotter," He drawls, his arms wrapping around my waist.
"Adrian, I thought we'd talked about this! Dicks before chicks man!" Blake groans. That is, until Anna struts down the stairs.
"Can I mark my territory?" I ask Adrian.
"Wait what?"
Instead of answering, I simply go ahead and plant a kiss on his face, leaving a stain. He cocks an eyebrow. "Do you want me to mark my territory?"
"You don't even have to mark it. I'm already yours," I lushly speak. We all know what he means by marking territory. He means he's going to leave hickeys and I don't want to have hickeys during the party. So, let me just boost his ego a little.
"That's right," He murmurs amorously. "Your hair smells nice."
"Thanks, I stole your shampoo," I laugh.
"Did you?" He teases, before his hands begin to graze my sides, making my burst out in laughter. Get him to stop tickling me!
"S-stop!" I wheeze, trying my best to escape his hold. "S-s-stop! Adrian, I won't kiss you!" I threaten. "I don't give empty th-threats!"
He stops almost instantly. That's what I thought. I smack his butt, just for the fun of it. It's not like it'll hurt him anyway, I have noodle arms and he has a rock hard ass.
The real pain happens then he smacks mine. I yelp painfully. Is my nonexistent ass even there anymore? I don't think it is. "Mother trucker dude, that hurt more than a buttcheek on a stick!" I shout, only for him to laugh.
"Crackass," He jokes. "My crackass."
Just then, I hear the doorbell ring. I think I know who that is.
"It's Kaden, isn't it?" Adrian asks stiffly.
"Remember, he's like a brother."
"Right," He calms himself down. "A brother."
