"We're going on a 21 hour flight... to India?!" I hiss at him, as we enter the airport. My hair was still a little wet from the water fight me and Adrian had earlier but other than that, I'm fine. "Adrian, I thought you would take me to Maldives or something!"
"That's for our honeymoon," He states coolly. Awh! He wants to marry me. BUT STILL!
"How can you be so sure I'll marry you?!" I yell, irritated because he's not irritated and that's making me irritated.
"I'm not sure you'll say yes, but I am sure I'll propose to you," He replies calmly. Awh! Fucking hell, why is life so hard? Everything is hard when I'm around him. I could always make it easy and forgive him and tell him I love him and want be back together with him.
But, no. I can't do that. He's gotta prove himself with this mini-test of mine. I'm also kind of excited to be in the airport for the first time in my life. Like, oh my god, I'll get to travel in the air!
Isn't that just really exciting?! I get to see a new country! I'm not sure how I'll feel about India though. I've never really heard much about it, and I'm kind of hoping it won't disappoint.
Then again, so many things in my life do more than disappoint so like I said before, I'm officially unshooketh at everything. If this trip goes down the drain, at least I'll still have Adrian afterwards. I mean... I hope I'll still have him.
What if he ditches me? What if he decides that he doesn't want me anymore? Or worse... what if he leaves me stranded in a random country?! "Um... Adrian. I change my mind. I forgive you."
He turns to me and gives me a confused look. "No, Bailey."
"No?"
"If you're scared that I'll leave you, then just call Anna or Blake and they'll fly you back here. Don't be scared and I know I have no right to tell you to trust me after what I did, but I hope that by the end of this trip, you will trust me. I just want you to know that I don't plan on leaving you anytime soon," He tells me, and I feel my heart simply melt for this man.
Could anyone be more perfect?!
Of course this isn't including all the illegal shit he does. It's not that I'm okay with it, but... you can't have it all. "Adrian, tell me a fun fact about you," I suggest out of the blue.
He looks at me for a second, tilting his head as if he's thinking before answering, "I was born in India."
I wheeze. I choke on air. I do a double take and everything that has to do with complete and utter shock. Just how diverse is this man?! He's of hispanic ethnicity, but was born in India and lived almost his entire life in America. Sure there are probably more diverse people out there but like... you know. All I can say is "I'm white" and that's just sad.
"That's so cool! But why were you born there?"
"I don't know. No one ever told me."
My smile slightly droops. "Oh. Do you know anyone there?"
"Yes."
"Who?"
"The man who made my mother pregnant."
I stop in my tracks and gape at him wide-eyed. "What?!"
"I'll explain when we're in the flight," He tells me, not even the slightest bit unnerved. He has a dad?! I thought he didn't have parents? Well... unless he never told anyone.
"Do Anna and Blake know about this?"
"No. He recently got in touch with me. When I was nineteen. I told you, I'll explain later. Until then... if you really want," He smirks. "You can feel my muscles." How can he use my weakness like that?! Of course, I don't deny his offer. I scurry over to him and wrap my arms around his, feeling his muscles.
They were like my stress relievers.

Are planes always this high? And why am I getting weird looks from everyone in this plane? All I'm doing is holding my ex-boyfriend's hands. "I don't get why you made us book economy class."
"For the full plane experience. You did book first class for the return flight though," I grin at him to which he rolls his eyes but smiles. I want to kiss him! Ugh! Life is hard! We can be exes with benefits... right?
NO! NO! NO!
Okay fine. I won't kiss him. But I want to... Yet I won't. Decisions suck. We make our way towards our seats, which thankfully, was next to each other. I don't know if I could have survived sitting next to a random stranger.
I don't like strangers. It sounds weird when I say it like that because Adrian was my kidnapper and now I'm in love with him. Adrian stuffs his backpack into the overhead bin before letting me in to sit near the window.
Then he takes a seat next to me. There were nine seats in each row and three columns, with an aisle in the middle. Planes are so cool to be in! Once we're seated, I look at him. "Now explain. How did your dad find out about you?"
"My mother always kept in touch with him. So he knew my name, but he never wanted anything to do with me. Until he found out I was rich, with a mafia," He speaks a slightly hushed tone. Maybe because he didn't want people hearing him. "He's not a bad man. I don't hate him, but I don't like him either. I send him money every month though."
I frown. "Why do you send him money? He never did anything for you."
"Like I said, I don't hate him. He was nicer to me than my mother ever was."
"So we're going to India to visit him?!" I hiss. "I know this sounds selfish, but I don't want anymore parent drama."
"No, no. We're not going to visit him! You asked if I knew anyone there, and I answered."
"But you said you wanted to go grocery shopping in a new country? Well, let's go grocery shopping in India. In Bangalore."
"I'm guessing it's one amazing experience. That's why you're taking me there?" I grin but he only smirks.
"It is one hell of an experience."
I open my mouth to say something, but then shrug it off. Instead, I lean against his shoulder, making myself comfortable. "Adrian?"
"Hm?"
"You look like poop."
"And you're beautiful." A stupid blush creeps up on my face and I hide it behind my hair.
"Adrian?"
"Yeah?"
"I lost my virginity."
"Yeah, duh."
"Don't sass me like that," I poke his chest. Hard. Well, that's how I poked his chest, but his chest was hard too. My poor finger!
Just then, an elderly woman takes a seat next to Adrian. She looks at us with judgy eyes before turning away. Well... ouch. "Are you going honeymoon?" She asks, in a thick Indian accent.
"Oh, no! No. We're not married," I correct her.
"You look married," She looks at us again, and this time with a twinkle in her eyes. "You should be."
"That's what I keep telling her," Adrian agrees with the lady. I roll my eyes before leaning away from Adrian and looking out the window. It's almost nightfall but the lights on the runway makes it look really pretty and cool.
With the old woman's words in mind, I fall asleep.
