I look at Kaden who looks like he's going to blow his shit. "Dylan, stop," He speaks up. Dylan's head snaps towards Kaden with his eyes bloodshot red. "Don't give it to them."
When Kaden speaks those words, the darker man next to Theodore unplugs the nebulizer. My eyes widen in terror before I find myself shouting. "LEAVE THE NEWBORN ALONE!" I shout angrily, but they don't listen to me.
"The papers. For his family," The red haired man smirks, evilly.
Dylan looks at his son, before, with trembling hands, handing them the papers. The man laughs dryly. "You're a smart man," He snickers before pulling the gun away from Luna's head and pushing her towards Dylan.
Instead of talking to Dylan, Luna runs to Teddy, frantically trying to plug the nebulizer back in. But the darken man, who I'll now call Urchin, stops her from plugging it in.
"What the fuck?!" Adrian shouts, cocking his gun. "You got the papers, leave him alone. Or I'll shoot you."
"Not yet. We want one more thing," The red haired man, who I will now call Period, because he represents pain and annoyance and his hair is as red as blood, says. He looks completely unfazed after Adrian's threat.
"What?" Kaden asks. "You have my fucking papers, what more do you want?"
My attention shifts to Luna who was now kicking at Urchin, so she can plug in the nebulizer. He doesn't budge. I being to approach Luna, but Adrian stops me. I glare at him but he doesn't flinch.
"You're going to kill my baby!" Luna shouts, tears streaming down her face. Tears begin to roll down my face as well, as I watch a mother fight for her son. I've never been exposed to such love before.
My parents would walk away if they saw me struggling like that but Dylan and Luna... They're shedding the tears that I wished my parents would have shed for me. I look up at Adrian, whose eyes are bloodshot as well.
They're not fucking doing anything! Teddy is going to die by the time they do anything. I look at Anna, who's near unconscious in Blake's arms but her eyes meet mine and she forms a gun with her fingers and then shoots. She mouths 'shoot them'.
I slowly hold my gun and point it at the man near Teddy. I pull the trigger and this time, I don't miss. The man lays dead. "Bitch!" Period shouts, pointing his gun at me. When he pulls the trigger, a certain blonde takes the bullet for me.
"Kaden!" I shriek as Period shoots another bullet at Luna. Thankfully, he misses before Dylan tackles him after dropping the papers. I look back at Kaden, to see blood gushing out of his stomach. "Kaden, why would you do that?!"
"Because... You're my sister. I respect..." He takes in a sharp breath of pain. "And love you."
Another gunshot reverberates through the room. Dylan killed Period. He drops the gun before turning to Luna, satisfied that Teddy was breathing through the nebulizer again, he runs towards Kaden. "You..." He breathes. "Fucktard, what the fuck do you think you're doing?"
That's the most I've ever heard Dylan curse. "You'll be fine," He whispers to a now unconscious Kaden. "So will Anna."

We were at the hospital. Again. You know, I'm starting to hate the hospital. Adrian had bandaged his arm, and luckily it wasn't too bad. Anna was fine, she had suffered a little blood loss but should be fine in about an hour or so.
Richard Arrow was surprisingly the only one who was unscathed. Actually, I was unscathed too, but I think I twisted my ankle after jumping out of the window. Not to mention my poor shoulder after shooting. Oh, and my dignity after my explosive diarrhea excuse.
The worst part is that I forgot to finish an assignment... I almost died, yes. But the assignment! Maybe I could ask Blake to hack into my grades...
But. Everything is okay. Everyone is alive. Emotionally and physically scarred? Yes. Of course. But we're all alive that that's all that matters. As of now. Adrian also exchanged numbers with Dahlia and everything was great. Tara and Dahlia also kissed. It was really cute.
The best part is that Adrian and Kaden were not only done being enemies, but they were joining forces. That makes us the most powerful mafia in the world.
"Stop fucking crying," Richard tells his son, Dylan. "Theo's alive. You're alive. Luna's alive. Everyone is alive, I don't get why you're being so emotional." Of course, Richard Arrow would say that. Only, the contradicting part is that Dylan was crying on his shoulders and Richard was patting his back affectionately.
"My s-son almost died," He breathes. Luna was right next to Dylan, cradling Teddy who was breathing normally as of now.
"Well, mine too," Richard replies flatly.
"Bailey!" A voice I recognize all too well shouts.
"Mr. Rodriguez!" I exclaim, running over to him and his wife.
"Where's Anna?" Mrs. Rodriguez asks.
"Mrs. Rodri-"
"Call me Ella, my last name is a mouthful," She states.
"Ella, she's fine. She just got shot in the thigh, but it wasn't serious. She should be out in an hour or so."
Ella nods, clearly relieved. "Why were you playing with guns anyway?!" Mr. Rodriguez asks loudly.
"Um... well..."
"Is that Richard Arrow?"
"Ha.... you see..."
"Anna's part of Richard's mafia?!"
"It's actually Kaden and Adrian's-"
"Your boyfriend is a mafia leader?!"
"Yes, get with the program."
"I need someone to hold me," He sighs, leaning against his wife. "I send her to the city to keep her safe from the hood and she joins a mafia."
"Well, actually-"
"Is she just a member?"
"No, she's second in command with her boyfriend-"
"I feel so powerful."
"I mean-"
"My daughter has had so much power, and I find out about it right now."
"I'll leave you to it then..." I mumble as he nearly faints. I walk over to Adrian, planting a kiss on his lips. "Adrian, guess what?"
"What?" He murmurs against my lips.
"I love you."
"I would have never guessed," He replies sarcastically.
"Yeah, because you're not smart."
"Bailey, guess what?"
"What?"
"I love you too."
"Duh."
"Why are you so mean to me?" He pouts.
"Because you've kidnapped me, and then set me free in the most dramatic way possible only to want me back. Then you've confessed your love for me, and right after, you've broken up with me and then went through a lot to get me back. You've nearly gotten me pregnant, and then you've cried on my shoulders. Then we've all almost died, only for me to save all your asses."
He reaches out to tuck a strand of blonde hair behind my ears, before he kisses my jaw. "We've been through a lot together."
"I love you, bitch."
"I love you too, baby," He tells me, as he kisses my neck. He's going to give me a hickey... I don't care. I love him. I was going to hang onto every moment with him.
"Can I do something?" I ask him.
"Yeah," He murmurs against my neck. I reach up to his neck and kiss it before lightly sucking on it, biting the skin between my teeth. "You wanted to give me a hickey?"
"You always give me hickeys!" I defend myself. "I wanted to mark my man."
"How about permanently mark me?"
"What does that mean?"
"Come with me when I tattoo your name on my chest," He winks. Before I get the chance to reply, I hear Anna shouting from inside the room. "Oh boy," Adrian sighs.
"Don't tell me to fucking rest! I'm completely fine! I just need chocolate!"
Blake walks into the room followed by the rest of us. "She won't rest," The doctor sighs.
"Yeah, Anna. Listen to the cute lady in a nurse costume," Dylan tells her. His eyes were still puffy from crying, but he was feeling better. His arms were wrapped his father's torso. Awh!
"I'm a doctor," The lady deadpans.
"Dylan, I'll put you permanently to rest if you agree with her!" Anna shouts. "Blake, I feel completely fine! Let me walk!"
"Doctor, let her walk. She's a strong one," Blake tells the doctor, winking at Anna. She bites her lips, as she smiles before winking back at him. The doctor sighs before getting a pair of crutches for Anna. Anna nearly leaps off the bed.
"Can we see Kaden, now?" She asks us.
"Actually, you can," The doctor responds. "He's awake."
It didn't take us long to fill in the room Kaden was in. "Is Theo okay?" He asks, his voice still strong as ever. Damn, how strong are these mafia people?!
"Yeah," Luna hums, a little weakly, as she strokes Teddy's face with her finger. A small yet loving smile is playing on her lips as she watches her son. For a second, my heart burns with jealousy at how much love Teddy is surrounded with. The only thing I was ever surrounded with was alcohol and abuse.
But, now I'm surrounded with love too. My dad is dead. It's over. It has been over for a while. I've now found myself a home with so many people. So many people that love me just as much as I love them.
"What are you thinking about?" Adrian hums, as he hugs me from the back.
I smile as warmth spreads through my body at his touch.
"Home. I'm thinking about home."
