Pretty soon the sun was going to go down and dinner time came
I went outside to get the children
"Children time to come inside" I said as they were nearby
They were obedient and followed suit
I had actually prepared a surprise for them all
"Kids I have a surprise for you all" I said kneeling to their height
We headed to sitting room and the room was filled with presents
"I know this is a big change for everyone, but I hope soon you all feel welcomed. This is your new home, and I am going to do my best to be a fit mother for you all" I said, hoping to gain a little bit of their trust.
"Thank you mommy" said Jude rushing to hug me
The rest thanked me and soon rushed to open their presents
All I could think about was that Jude had called me MOM,
The children didnt even want to eat dinner because they just wanted to stay playing with their new toys
The rest of the night passed by in a blur
