***THIRD POV***
Back at Evelin's home
The children were quite restless
" I miss mom," Jude said as all the children were outside sitting underneath their favorite tree
" Why would her husband call her now," Nesrin asked aloud while taking grass out from her hair
" Because of the war, you dummies," Elijah said as he put his book down beside him
" The war?" Theo asked as he leaned against the tree
"Yes, her husband was the leading general of the war, and he won so now he gets to come home," Elijah said deciding to lay down and look at the sky
"What does this mean for us," Arabella said as she helped Nersin with her hair
"It means she might not always be here, but we are gonna change that" Elijah answered as he looked at his siblings
No one was going to take away their mom
"As we did with the old owner at the orphanage," Theo asked while looking at Elijah
" Yes, but this time we need to plan it right," Elijah said
"Why?" Jude asked
"Because mom needs her husband's money, in this world money makes one valuable" Arabella responded
" Can't we just be done with it quick like the old owner at the orphanage?" Jude asked
"No, because we knew the old owner, he was barely an adult that only wanted to drink and so it was easy to dispose of him," Elijah said
"That's true plus think about what he tried to do to Arabella," Nesrin said as she hugged Arabella
The previous owner was a man named Mitch who was in his early twenties and had gotten the job through a relative
He was the director in charge but he didn't care for his job, it was all about the money
"If we hadn't killed him, I'm sure I would have been sold by now," Arabella said seeming lost in thought
"That's true we all knew he was selling the children, it's a good thing I noticed Arabella had gone missing" Theo exclaimed deciding to lay down
" That's true in life you have to make tough choices," Elijah said seeming much older than he really was
" Have you thought of a plan" Jude asked as decided to change the subject
" I have but it will take time, firstly we are not legally her children even though we live in this house. Secondly, we do not know the details about her marriage arrangement and for us all to live as we please we need to plan it right" Elijah said as he just stared up at the sky
