" My lady, is there a specific child you are looking for me" The assistant asked me
" No, I will just look around" I said turning away from them.
Where are the Ravens
Remembering I heard this story from an aquintence that the Ravens would hide in a tree near their orphanage
Looking at the surroundings I noticed the biggest tree was further away from the playground
" If you could give me a couple minutes to interact with the children" I told the assistant as I made by way to the tree.
As I got closer I could hear chatter
" Who are you"
Looking down I see the Ravens
All 5 of them just sitting in the ground, the one who spoke was Elijah. His appearance was striking with pale skin, black hair and red blazing eyes.
" My name is Evelin" I said kneeling down to their height.
" Hello" Said Arabella, who had dark skin, blue hair and grey eyes.
Everyone else remained quiet
" How is everyone today" I asked looking at them all.
Gosh they were so small and tiny
" Emma please bring the basket over" I said as I turned to face her
" Here it is my lady" Emma said handing it to me.
" Children, I bought some snacks for you" I said placing the basket in front of them
They just stared at me & back to the basket
" Can we really take some" asked Jude, he looked unnaturally thin. His skin was faded to a dull brown but his green eyes still sparked bright.
" She's lying, adults dont give children anything without something in return. So what do you want lady" Said Theo who just glared at me.
Of course they were wary, I mean they looked mistreated. I have to get them to trust me, I hope perhaps with time they will.
"Well I am not like other adults, but I understand I will leave the basket here for you" I said looking at each of them.
" Emma lets go inside" I said turning away from the children
As we walked away I already knew that they deserved better
All the children here deserved better
But just one step at a time
"My lady have you chosen a child" the assistant asked coming towards us.
"Yes I have, actually 5 children" I said smiling thinking of the bright future I hope to give them
