As Jace ran into the forest, he noticed signs that read 'Now out of safe zone'
as he went deeper he saw another sign that read 'beware'.
"Ashley!!!!! " he shouted loud for her to hear as he noticed a girl with butterfly braids as he sighed walking towards her.
"Ashley... " he tried to console her as she pushed him off her.
"Let me go! " she said raising her head up as he noticed her bloodshot red eyes as they glared into his.
As she walked farther away from him, droplets of rain fell as the rain became heavy.
"Ashley... " Jace called out to her again as they both stood drenched in the rain.
"Am...... Am I?......... Am I that Bad??" She asked as her voice broke in the middle of her sentence.
She was staring at Jace with tears pouring down her eyes.
"Does... wanting to not be responsible for anyone for just once make me a bad girl?? "She said with a muffled voice as she placed her hand on her mouth.
Jace kept silent. This was the first time Ashley was actually going to pour out her feelings and her worries and she won't do it again so he just listened.
"Every time, I'm always looking out for one person or the other.. Taking their feelings to consideration before I act..... But when I decide to do something for myself I'm suddenly a bad person.. "
she said clenching her fists as her hair sticked to her face.
"Why does everyone hate me??!? Am I selfish!!?! Why do they always find faults in whatever I do?!?? "she screamed on top of her lungs as she staggered falling to the ground as Jace ran over holding her in place on the ground.
"Why.... Why does Tolani hate me so much? After all I sacrificed... After all I did for her... " she said slowly as she placed her palms on Jace's face.
" You know what Jace? Let's just break up." Ashley said firmly as Jace stared at her with his eyes wide open.
