The school 3rd term examination had commenced and only jss1 to ss2 were going to write it as the ss3 were preparing for their senior certificate examination.
They were going to be the ones invigilating the students while the teachers finish paper work but come to check on them for time to time.

The ss3 students stood in front of the counsellor waiting for her to assign them with their partners and the class they were going to invigilate.
"Jace Overland and Sky Wayne... Invigilating Ss1 Science with Mr Hassan as your supervisor " she said handing them their papers as they moved to their class.
"Ashley Winters and Akinola Tolani ...invigilating Jss3 Sapphire with Mrs Ariyibi as your supervisor " Ashley and Tolani stated at each other as they shook their head in disagreement .
"Nope.. No way"Tolani protested as she stared at the counsellor who shrugged.
"Theres nothing you can do, the principal already approved of the partnership so it's gonna stay like that. " She said handing them their papers as Tolani snatched it before Ashley could get it and walked away.
"Good luck" Kimberly said to Ashley as she groaned trailing after Tolani.

Getting to Jss3 Sapphire, Tolani kept grumbling while Ashley smiled at the students making them ease a bit.
" Senior Ash, what with all the wires connected to your body? " A girl in cornrows asked Ashley as she smiled.
"These.. Are to aid my healing.. so I don't have to live in the hospital"Ashley lied through her teeth, she also didn't know why the wires were on her body.
"Are you getting better? " Another girl who was in Ghana weaving asked standing beside the other girl.
"Yes I am, By the Grace of God" she responded dismissing them to their seats.
"So what paper are you writing this morning? " Ashley asked the class as Tolani kept arranging the papers and booklets.
"Basic Science! "
" Okay.. So take everything that can implicate you in any way away from you" Ashley instructed as they all took their books and bags away to the front of the class.
" so we're gonna do a bit switching " Ashley said as they all groaned.
"why na"
"I'm fine with that" everyone turned to the voice that spoke, of course it was the smartest girl in their class whose name was Jisola.
"Of course.. Because you're smart nobody will hear word" some else said as Ashley switched them
*bang!" Tolani slammed the table making them all jolt and sit upright.
"Enough chitchat! Let's get this examination started!!! Ashley go get the attendance paper.. I'll handle them" Tolani said in a threatening voice as Ashley nodded glancing at the students.
"save us.. " they whispered as Ashley chuckled walking away. They were scares of senior Tolani, she was terror.
Ten minutes later...
Ashley walked into the class as she gasped at the sight of two boys who were kneeling down in front of the class while Tolani was seated reading her past questions book holding a cane in her hand.
The students raised their head to see Ashley standing as they released a breath they didn't know they were holding as she handed the first people on the row the attendance sheet.
" Go to your seat and write your paper, behave yourself! " Ashley said to the boys as they smiled thanking her and running to their seats.
Tolani made space for Ashley to seat on the bench as she handed her the next past questions with furrowed brows.
"What's wrong? " Ashley asked as Tolani waved it off.
"Nothing." Tolani snapped as Ashley sighed opening her biology past question as Tolani places her own past questions on Ashley's lap making Ash smirk.
" I thought you said there's nothing " Ashley teased as Tolani glared.
"Quit it and help me with question 4b" Tolani muttered as Ashley held a pen writing the answer and explaining to Tolani.
"Thanks" she muttered again making ash smile.
"remember when I didn't understand biology and you were having problems with English sounds so we decided to trade.. That I would teach you English and you teach me biology? "Tolani muttered as they both laughed smiling at each other.
"remember during that jss3 holiday that we went to Mr Hassan house and he wasn't there but his dog was loose and it pursued us all the way back home?"
" I do! " Ashley said as she glanced at the students to see if they were behaving.
"Those days were so much fun!" Tolani muttered as Jisola walked over with her script and answer booklet with her.
" You're done? " Ashley asked a little stunned as she skimmed through her answer booklet to see she had written excellently well.
"Who's your role model in frost academy? "Tolani asked jisola out of the blue.
"Senior Ashley ,I want to be like her because she's nice and responsible and also a good head girl "jisola said not minding that Ashely was there.
" I'm not a really good role model you know" Ashley said as jisola shook her head in disagreement.
"my mom always told me to look out for the best in people and not their worst because if you focus on the bad, you might miss out all the good " Jisola said proudly as Ashley nodded.
"what's your full name? "Tolani asked.
"Jisola Reyna Mecah.".

Tolani and Ashley packed all the scripts as they handed it to the respective teachers walking over to the cafeteria .
" Sit with me? " Ashley offered as Tolani face became dark.
" not interested "
"Why? I thought we were getting along back there" Ashley asked as Tolani groaned.
"THAT! was before.. This is now... Just like our friendship ended in the past. This is the present !" Tolani snapped making students stop to look at them.
" What's wrong with you?" Ashley asked softly as she stared at Tolani who had a pissed look on her face.
"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with me??? Look at you! Look who's asking!!! You are in no position to ask someone else what's wrong with them! Depressed freak! " Tolani sneered as students gathered with Ashley looking broken.
" oh my gosh I'm so tired of having to hear you name everyday..... Ashley this.. Ashley that!! " She continued ranting as Ashley gasped.
She walked over to hold Tolani's arm to calm her down.
"Don't touch me you sorry excuse of a human!!! "With that Tolani pushed Ashley to the wall as one of Ashley's wires hooked on a nail making it cut.
Ashley landed on the floor as she gasped slowly tears filled her eyes as Tolani looked in horror.
" One of her wires has cut!! " A student shouted as Tolani could see Jace and the rest running towards their direction.
" Ashley...Ashley look at me.. Look at me!!! " Jace shouted as he lifted Ashley bridal style glaring at Tolani as he rushed Ashley out of the cafeteria.
Tolani stated at everyone as she saw Hailey who's eyes were blood shot red walking slowly towards her.
"Hailey I... "
*slap!! *
Tolani cheeks stung from the hot slap Hailey had landed her. Hailey was never known to be violent. She was always the peace maker but when it came to her sister she would do anything.
"How dare you!!! " Hailey screamed with her voice breaking at every word.
Everywhere went silent as Hailey glared deeply at Tolani. If looks could kill then Tolani would have been six feet under the earth.
"Hailey.." Tolani tried talking again as guilt overwhelmed her.
"Don't! D-dont" Hailey said as tears streamed down her face.
" You better pray that nothing wrong happens to my sister or else.. You'll wish you never woke up today" Hailey said making Tolani gulp as Kimberly held Hailey taking her away.
