After I spoke with the doctor and told him everything that was on my mind, I was kind of relieved since a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. He gave me some wise advice which made me realize that a lot of things were mysterious in this world but being a part of them wasn't impossible. Just like me being surrounded by werewolves all the time...
As soon as we finished our little talk, he went out but immediately entered again with a smile.
"You have visitors, do you want to see them now or after you get some rest?" He said calmly with a little smile reassuring me.
"Visitors? I have visitors?"
"Yes, they're worried about you." I had visitors? People other than my family who worried about me. This was very interesting...
"Bring them in." I beamed at him wanting to meet who might be worried about me.
"Luna are you alright?" I heard a familiar voice say before seeing the familiar face of the owner. Theo and Maya came in slowly closing the door behind them while Maya rushed to my side and hugged me.
"Oh my god, we were so worried about you! If you saw what we saw back there, you'd freak." She said with watery eyes while Theo sat next to her and hugged her side.
"Uhm thank you, I'm better now." I said. I didn't know what to say in these cases, I always turned the situation more awkward. But I suddenly remembered what Maya said yesterday, something about three guys...
"Hey Maya, you mentioned the names of three guys yesterday, saying you couldn't believe what they did to me." I asked confused. She pinched her nose and shook her head left and right as she heard my sentence.
"These fucking idiots." She mumbled while I laughed at her response. Who were they and what did they do to me?
"Who are they?" I asked curiously while Theo looked at us silently.
"They're the three wolves that ran after you in the woods." She said calmly waiting for my reaction.
Three wolves that ran after me? Oh my god! THE THREE WOLVES THAT ATTACKED ME!
"It wasn't their fault though, they just took orders from the Alpha." She continued while taking my hand and rubbing circles on my knuckles with her thumb.
"Took orders from-OH MY GOD IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! Ryan that little shit ordered them to attack me! I can't believe it!" I screamed while looking shocked at the two werewolves in front of me. Theo face palmed himself while Maya looked confused.
"No he didn't order them to attack you. He would never do that! I mean he would do that but not to you. He ordered them to bring you to him by scaring you a little bit."
"Scaring me? A little bit? One of them almost tore my leg off!" I yelled at her in disbelief. How dare he?
"They're very sorry actually. They never meant to hurt you." Theo said trying to reassure me.
"Where can I meet them? I'd like to talk to them." I said a bit calmer this time.
"You'll have to ask the Alpha first." Theo answered as I rolled my eyes and sighed in annoyance.
"What if I don't want to speak to him?" Oh goodness could I be more stubborn?
"Well too bad! He's the only one that knows where their cell is." Cell? Like in jail or something?
"Cell? What Cell?" I asked confused to why would they be in jail.
"He punished them because they hurt you." Maya answered cutting me from my thoughts.
"What are you talking about? It was his plan all along!" I said in disbelief. That bastard is going to hear a piece of my mind.
"Yeah, well, he makes orders not us." She replied like it wasn't the first time he did something stupid. I wouldn't be surprised actually.
But he punished them? Am I going to be in jail too?
If you think you're not gonna get punished you're damn wrong. I remembered what he said yesterday about me being punished. I don't want to be in jail!
"Wait Maya, yesterday he said I was going to get punished for escaping. Is he going to throw me in jail?" I asked scared, not wanting to imagine what might happen there.
"Oh sweetheart! I don't think he meant it like that..." She said with a huge smirk on her face while Theo cleared his throat looking very uncomfortable.
"What did he mean then?"
"It's for him to tell you that, or maybe to show you." She said winking at me. I looked at her for a second before realising what she really meant. My expression changed from confused to disgusted, very disgusted! If he thinks he's gonna do anything to me well he's wrong.
'Keep telling yourself that Lou!' Oh not you again!
"Anyway, I think you should rest a little bit." She said standing up and headed to the door, Theo right behind her. I suddenly noticed that Simon wasn't with them.
"Hey guys. Where is Simon anyway?" I asked them as they both turned and started laughing.
"Oh poor him. He's still hiding in his spot, no one has found him yet, that guy knows how to hide his scent properly." She laughed while I laughed too.
"Do you think he's going to be alright? Isn't Ryan going to kill him?" I asked curious to know if Simon was gonna be safe after all.
"You're the only one who can prevent his punishment Lou, just order the Alpha to not hurt him, something like: If you do anything to Simon I'll never have sex with you ever again...They're very sensitive with this topic believe me." She grinned and looked at a red Theo.
"But I can see you never had sex with him so maybe you should say you won't sleep in the same room or even won't speak to him. You can say whatever you want, he's whipped after all." She said before leaving and closing the door behind her.
Whipped huh? I can manipulate him then! I thought mischievously at all the things I can make him do for me...
I placed my head on the pillow and drifted off to sleep since I had nothing to do and I wasn't going out until the end of the day.
I woke up after three hours of napping and was greeted by my growling stomach, being hungry was an understatement, I was starving! I got up and was about to open the door when I finally realized what I was wearing, a white gown that was open from behind. The worst part is that I wasn't wearing any undergarments. I was NOT going out in that.
I didn't have a phone to call someone so I opened the door and screamed, yes I screamed.
"NURSE!" But instead of the nurse coming I saw everyone rushing to my side asking me if I was alright. Everyone said Luna, no exceptions! This was a werewolf hospital, and everyone in here was a member of the pack! Patients, nurses, doctors, visitors, they were all werewolves and they all came to check up on me.
I did not know any of those people!
"Yes everyone I'm totally fine, thank you for caring for me but I need clothes at the moment so please call the nurse." I said getting pissed off, they all rushed to the hallway and after a few minutes they came back with a bunch of clothes, someone even brought some undergarments! Thank goodness!
"I don't need all of these clothes." I sighed with an awkward smile. Where did they find these clothes anyway?
"You can take them Luna it's fine, they're all yours. Consider them a gift." A guy from the back of the crowd they made said cheerfully with a smile on his face. Actually everyone had a smile on their faces, it was amazing to see all of them so happy and I just smiled back at them.
I took all of the clothes they offered, all women clothes and I was so relieved. I don't have to wear Ryan's clothes anymore, even though they were really comfortable.
'Where is Ryan anyway?' I asked myself. Last time I saw him was when we argued this morning. But it's not like I care about him now.
'Riiiight...' Oh shut up Lou! But what if he's with Rebecca? Or with a girl and having a blast? The question is, why am I hurting so much, especially when I didn't care about him?
I wore an outfit, a black pair of ripped jeans and a grey sleeveless V-neck shirt, good thing I shaved, I loved V-necks as much as I love caramel! Caramel is the best! I then placed the rest of the clothes in a plastic bag I found in the closet and put it on the bed so I won't forget to take it with me since I didn't have any clothes at Ryan's house.
I put on the fluffy slippers of the hospital and went outside to the cafeteria. As soon as I arrived I took a plate to put the food I wanted, a cheeseburger with a salad next to it and apple juice, I also took a piece of cheesecake...That's how much I was hungry!
I sat on one of the tables all alone by myself and began eating.
'I have to meet those three guys Maya told me about.' I thought to myself but was soon cut off when I heard someone calling me.
"Psssssstt Lou! Psssssttt!" I turned around to see Simon hiding behind a wall in the hallway. I stood up immediately and rushed to him discretely, not wanting anyone to see me.
"What the hell are you doing Simon! Go hide, I still haven't told Ryan to not punish you." I whisper yelled at him and started shooing him away with a motion of my hands.
"You'd do that for me? Thank you, Lou!" He whispered with a smile on his face.
"Well of course. That's what friends are for." I said while patting his shoulder and giving him a small smile which he gladly returned with sparkly eyes.
"Anyway you have to stay hidden, I haven't seen Ryan yet and if he finds you before I tell him well you might get killed, no one knows what that psycho might do." I said while doing a circular movement of my finger next to my head to show him how crazy Ryan can be.
"Is everything between you and him alright? I mean...I know it's not my business but I can help." He whispered in my ear.
"Actually...Nothing is okay. I exploded at him this morning remembering what happened yesterday. He's never going to give up is he?" I asked with disappointment in my eyes knowing exactly what the answer is.
"He's your mate, he's going to chase after you even after you die, so basically he's never gonna leave you alone." Simon said while shrugging his shoulders.
"You're right, and it's my job to make it more difficult for him to win me..." I mumbled to myself mischievously but he heard it and laughed.
"You don't know the Alpha, whatever he wants, he gets it." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Well that's reassuring! But he has disappeared since this morning and I'm really hoping he doesn't want me anymore." I beamed with a smile while his fell off.
"Believe me it's not what you want..." He whispered looking at his feet.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TELLING HER NOW YOU LITTLE FUCKER!" Oh shoot... You guessed right, Ryan. Now he shows up?
"Stop being so dramatic! Where have you been all day ? Now you show up ?" I provoked him while crossing my hands over my chest showing that my attitude is back on. Suddenly everybody in the cafeteria went silent when they saw Ryan and began evacuating the area, were they all this afraid of him? Oh I almost forgot! I was also this afraid of him when he suddenly roared to Simon.
"HE'S THE FUCKING ONE WHO TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT BITCH !" He screamed at me as he jerked his hand towards a scared Simon. I suddenly backed away from Ryan, terrified from him, my mouth slightly open and my eyes staring at him. He seemed to have noticed my action which caused his eyes to soften a bit when they met my scared once and came towards me but I took a step back.
Am I capable of doing what Maya told me to do? I really care about Simon, I don't know why I cared about him but still... I am not going to watch Simon get beaten up by this possessive little jerk! I gathered all the courage in me and crossed my hands over my chest.
"I-I am not letting you hurt him." I stuttered a little bit but it was fine, I think...
"BUT HE WAS THE CAUSE OF YOU RUNNING AWAY AND HATING ME!" He roared back eyeing Simon, believe me if looks could kill Simon would be dead by now.
"OH NO! I'VE ALWAYS HATED YOU! HE WAS THE ONLY ONE TO TELL ME SOMETHING TRUE! AND FOR THAT I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU HURT HIM, OR BELIEVE ME I AM NEVER GOING TO TALK TO YOU AGAIN!" I screamed back surprising everyone, even myself, with this sudden confidence, yup here comes my attitude again...
"Why the fuck would you defend him?" He asked more calmly this time.
He was right, why was I choosing Simon over him? Ryan was my mate after all.
'Screw mates, Simon is more fun!' For the first time, I agree with you Lou.
"Well because he's my friend." I said more confident than ever and stood right in front of Simon in a protective way.
"I'm your fucking mate!"
"Then act like it." I gritted my teeth suddenly becoming angry at him which riled Ryan up.
"I fucking am acting like it!"
"Hell no! You're acting like a child! He's a member of your pack you should protect him."
"He fucking hurt you by telling you about her."
"It's not his fault my mate is a man whore. Is it?" Oh my god...I can't believe I said that!
The people who heard me gasped causing me to heat up and blush. Why the hell did I say that!
"OH THAT'S IT!" He roared as he shoved me away and started beating up Simon.
"NO STOP! RYAN STOP IT PLEASE!" I screamed as I began tearing up. I started hitting Ryan on his back wanting to stop him but it was no use. Simon was on the floor, bleeding like hell. I couldn't even see his face features anymore. His cheeks were swollen and purple, his lips were bleeding and he had a black eye.
"Ryan! What have you done?" My voice came out like a whisper as I sat down next to Simon while caressing his wounds with my hands very softly.
Ryan was shaking, he noticed my wet cheeks. He stood up and walked away like nothing happened. He ran away from his own mess. He ran away like I always do, except I run away from my problems while he runs away from the mess he causes.
He was a coward.
"Simon! Oh my god! I'm so sorry, I couldn't do anything." I whispered to him while the nurses came rushing towards us.
"I'm a useless piece of shit, I'm a fucking coward, I couldn't save you! It's my fault, it's all my fault!" I said as I continued crying helplessly.
