Today is a lunar eclipse so the spell can be done today I'm currently in my car with a knocked-out Landon in the passenger seat. I just cast a sleep spell on him when nobody is looking and took him it was really easy. My plan is to get to my storage unit set everything up wake Landon create the other side then erase his memory and knock him out take him back to school with a lie I told him.
I smile to myself there's not much that can go wrong in my plan other than someone disturbing me my mother possibly showing up not having enough power to do it or instantly dying from doing the spell easy right?
I finally make it to the storage unit I take Landon out of the car and carry him to the unit I place him down and do a quick barrier spell and burn some sage. I set up a white circle and symbols with white chalk and a bunch of candles I place Landon in the middle of the circle I set up the blood bags and mutter a spell to wake Landon he stirs awake
"Hey, Landon" I shoot him a smile and his eye widen "where the hell are we?"
"A storage unit" his expression changes to confusion "Why?"
"Your gonna be the anchor for the other side I need an immortal being and you being a Phoenix your perfect for the job now I just need to you drink some of this so you don't die" I step towards him and hold out Elena's blood in a glass he shakes his head "No I won't do it" I sigh in annoyance I grab him and force the liquid down his throat after I'm sure he's swallowed I step back
"You are crazy! Someone help!"
"Landon I've done a privacy spell nobody can hear you. Now would you like to be awake during this? Or I can put you back to sleep" he shook his head quickly "No! no! Was this the reason you were being nice to me? So I would be the anchor"
"Yes sorry to deceive you but circumstances have changed and I have another problem I need to deal with" I grab Bonnie's blood and mutter a spell and the circle erupts in flames I pour some of the blood into the fire and drink the rest Landon's eyes widen "Wait What's gonna happen to me?" I shrug
"Not sure this is my first time" I smirk his eye widen more and he looks terrified "Relax Landon I'm pretty sure you won't die" I step out of the circle leaving only Landon in the middle "wait-"
"Landon be quiet I need to focus I don't think it will help you if I'm not" he shuts up and I start chanting the spell Freya gave me after a while the flames erupt bigger and I smile knowing that it's working after a minute or so I feel something change and see that the fire has died down I smile knowing that the other side has been created I feel a liquid running down my face and I touch my nose and see blood on my fingers as well as blood dripping from my eyes I feel slightly feint
"Are you okay?" I look to Landon and his eyes widen "I'm fine the other side is created now you just have to stay alive"
"You know I'm going to tell Alaric and Hope"
"Yes but you won't have anything to tell" he looks at me confused and all I do is clean myself up and put everything away once I'm finished I do a quick clean-up spell to get rid of the white markings on the floor "What do you mean I won't have anything to tell"
"I'm going to erase your memory of this ever happening" he starts to protest but I quickly vamp speed over and mutter the spell after I'm finished he falls unconscious I break the barrier spell and lock up I carry Landon back to the car and can't help but think how easy that was. I drive to mystic grill and order some milkshakes for me Hope and Landon and grab a quick snack since I'm exhausted after that spell I walk back into the car and wake Landon he wakes up slowly
"What happened?"
"You fell asleep we were just getting some milkshakes for Hope since she not having the best day" he nods and looks around "How long have I been asleep?"
"Not long just the drive here and however long it took for them to make the milkshakes" he nods and smiles at me as I hand him the milkshake I ordered for him I start driving back to the school "I wanted to apologise about earlier" he looks at me confused "you know the whole I know how to kill a Phoenix thing I was hoping to redeem our friendship with milkshakes" he laughs
"It's fine I could sense you were having a bad day" I send him a quick smile bloody hell I should be an actor now I just have to protect Landon and make sure the other side is stable until the Mikaelsons are back.
The rest of the drive is spent in silence I grab the dress that I bought in mystic falls for the dance just in case I'm needed

Landon walks in before me so I quickly send a quick text to Freya Bonnie and Elena telling them the other side has been created I walk inside in search of Hope and find her in an argument with Landon which I only catch the end of
"It doesn't. But it's in the past. So leave it" I walk up to them and Landon just storms off "What's wrong with him?"
"He's mad that I forgave Roman but gave him a hard time about the knife" I give a small reassuring smile and look to the milkshake in her hand "I was hoping the milkshake would serve as an apology?" She chuckles lightly "It does Thank you"
"I also got my dress if you still will have me as a date"
"Of course, I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else" I smile at her and bring her into a hug "You can also watch me change into it" I whisper into her ear and I feel the vibration of her laugh against my shoulder

After defeating a medusa without drawing the attention of the humans here today and me charming judge Vera we finally make it to the pageant final me and hope are standing at the top of the stairs as names are called
"Miss Sasha Stoteraux, escorted by Bartholomew Fell Jr" Two people walk down the stairs I look at Hope and she seems nervous I squeeze her arm gently and she sends me a smile
"Miss Josette Saltzman, escorted by Miss Penelope Park" Penelope and Josie walk down the stairs and on the last step she falls onto another contestant I sigh Josie deserved a chance just as much as Hope but Lizzie didn't seem to allow it
"Miss Renée Ford, escorted by James Stephens" another two people walk down as Landon walks over Hope looks at him "Hey You okay? Why do you smell like a bar" Landon just stares at her she is correct he smells like champagne.
"Penelope Park told me that you are keeping a secret... about my mom. She says that we met her and that I don't remember it... but you do. She's lying, right? Just tell me she's lying, Hope" Hope just remains silent and that confirms to him that she did know
"You know, I wasn't always the most honest person, but... you were the one that taught me the value of being truthful" With that he walks off I look to Hope and she seems to be freaking out
"I can't do this. I can't do this. I can't"
"Hope it's fine just relax we don't have much longer we just have to get through this last bit" she nods as they announce our names "Miss Hope Mikaelson escorted by Miss Ava Williams" we walk down the stairs while everyone applauds.
Music starts and we start dancing "Ava Mikaelson sounds nice" I smirk at her so I can try and ease her nerves she smiles back at me "You wouldn't want me to take your name?"
"No being a Mikaelson is a lot of trouble and despise but it also has a lot of history and pride so when we are married I would wear the Mikaelson name with pride it shows I was lucky enough to be loved by a Mikaelson" she sends me a dazzling smile and all I can see in her eyes is love
"When?" She smirks it seems my characteristic is rubbing off on her "Yes when" she chuckles lightly "I love you"
"I love you too" we dance for a couple more seconds just staring at each in our love bubble until we notice the twins arguing "what are they talking about?" I listen in on their conversation
"Do you know how good it would feel to be competing? In Mom's dress?"
"Did you even consider how Hope would feel wearing it?"
I look to Hope "There talking about your dress"
"What about It?" I listen in again
"What do you mean, where it came from? It was a gift from some guy who used to crush on Mom"
"From Klaus Mikaelson, Lizzie. Hope's dad" My eyes widen slightly Hope seems to notice "What? Tell me" I bite my lip gently trying to decide if I should tell her this
"Klaus gave the dress to Caroline" tears begin to form in her eyes and a low rumble in the room begins "My dad chose this dress?"
"May I have your attention, please?" the judge starts speaking through the microphone and everything in the room begins to rumble
"Without further ado, it is my honour to announce our very own Miss Mystic Falls. From the Salvatore School.......Miss Hope Mikaelson" the tears in Hope's eyes start to fall as everyone applauds I bring Hope into a hug
"Congratulations, Love" she starts crying into my shoulder and I just hold her tightly as everyone applauds

Once everyone has left and the pageant finishes I return to my room with Hope we get ready for bed I pull out my journal and write down the latest information on the other side and my mother. Hope walks out of the bathroom and sits beside me
"So are you going to tell me what has been bothering you today?"
"My mother is alive" Hopes eyes widen slightly and she gestures to me to continue "And my father well that's what she told me she came here this morning with a task she wants me to complete..."
"What task?" I take a breath and I look at her with a soft expression "She says that she wants me to kill you something about you breaking the balance of nature and because of my mother's betrayal towards the Mikaelsons she believes you're a danger to me" Hope looks to be deep in thought and I just let her as she gathers her thoughts
"Why would I be a danger to you? I would never hurt you" I shrug
"I believe that was her trying to manipulate me to do her bidding and I know and it's the same with me but either way I need to kill her and my father so they don't hurt you or any other Mikaelson" She just nods to me
"There's another secret it's one you've been keeping for a while" I exhale she talking about me keeping that I'm trying to bring her parents and uncle back but it is still probably best to keep that a secret still
"I also created the Otherside with Landon as the anchor and erased his memory of it ever happening" her eyes widen again "You can't just do that Ava and why would you still do it if you know your parents are alive" shit
"I'm planning on bringing your parents back, Hope"

A/n: if you didn't realise before I don't like Alaric well mostly the man who plays him but either way I don't like either of them :)
Also, some Steroline fans are gonna be mad soon ð
And yes I skipped the whole Landon finding out about being a phoenix I found that episode a bit boring and thought it would be a waste of my time.
