Hope and I are moving back into the Salvatore school even with my protests we could just stay at the penthouse and visit the school whenever there is a monster but she said it would be better and easier to stay at the school and of course I ended up agreeing.
"Sebastian, Ava sit" me and Sebastian have been called to Alaric's office I was warned by Caroline before coming here saying she tried to help but she thought it was a good idea and Sebastian had to do it and there isn't any reason why I shouldn't
Sebastian tries to take a brownie before sitting down but Alaric stops him so he just sits down
"Sebastian, our school was founded to keep young supernatural safe from the world"
"Well, my impression is that it exists to keep the world safe from us"
"It's a balance" I don't exactly know why I'm here but I'm going to sit and be patient so I don't rip off salaries head
"Look, I'm not convinced you belong here. We don't admit vampires over the age of 17. But...Ava here has been in kinda the same situation as you and has helped this school" yea helped this school more than you
"So I might make an exception if you pass our tests. So today you will spend time with the various factions. The goal is to see if you can control your basic urges"
I stand out of my chair "why am I here?" he stands up is well shoving his hands into his pockets
"You will be joining him when you joined you didn't go through these tests so now you are well since you are enrolling again after your no humanity stage also you using black magic which is forbidden"
"Because black magic doesn't affect me I use it to help the school with monsters"
"Oh really so you don't know anything about the other side being created and the mikaelsons being back" I look around sheepishly and remain quiet
Sebastian stands up breaking the silence "You know who would be an ideal guide is your daughter Elizabeth"
Alaric glares at him and gets a little in his face at the mention of his daughters "You stay away from my daughters" I don't blame Alaric's's behaviour but I'm pretty sure Lizzie knows what's shes doing
"As much fun as it would be to see you guys fight I wanna know who's going to be our guide"
He turns back to me"The only student who'll come back to life if you kill him" I shake my head and groan falling back into my seat
"Please no"

"Pretty much everyone gets along here. Um, there are other supernatural schools, I guess, but we're the only one that integrates all three factions. It can be a little overwhelming for new students" Landon rambles on and as much as I want to tune out I have to listen to him
"'Tis not three factions. 'Tis four. Tell me, what powers does a phoenix possess? Surely, it's more than merely dying often" Sebastian says as we walk through the main area of the school
"He can fly" I add and Landon looks at me shocked "I can fly?"
I raise an eyebrow "You didn't read the research I gave you?"
"I never got it" I shrug it seems Alaric never gave him my research and that's not my problem.
"Well other than that and I don't know how to do that so dying is kinda it and I'm cool with it, though. I mean, everyone else has the hero angle covered here. I'm better as a sidekick"
"I imagine it would be nice not to be killed quite so easily. Sorry about last time, by the way"
"No worries. You're not the first person around here who's killed me" Josie walks up to us and an awkward tension lingers in the air
"Hey"
"Hi, How's it going? What-What's up?" Josie clears her throat looking a bit guilty
"The usual. Getting rid of magical evidence before my dad overreacts" and that's why she looks guilty she looks over Landon's shoulder
"Anyways, see you later" I look over to see Hope approaching
"Is this what they call "teen drama"?" Sebastian asks
"Yes it is" I don't know why Josie and Landon are being awkward but I'm guessing Josie and Hope still have an awkward aura around them
"Shut up," he tells us Hope comes over and gives me a hug and kiss on the cheek "Hey love"
"Hey. Josie didn't leave because of me right?"
"Let's hope not" I look at landon and he has a tight-lipped smile on his face I shake my head "So how's moving back in?" I ask looking back at her
"Alyssa Chang generously gave me back 20% of my room plenty of room for the nine things I still own"
"Well there's still a penthouse where you can have your room or even better share with me"
She rolls her eyes playfully "What's going on here?"
"Landon is testing me and Sebastian"
"Why is he testing you?"
"There were a couple of reasons one of them being he knows the mikaelsons are back and know I did it"
Her eyes widen a little she goes to answer but landon interrupts her "Your dad and mum are back?"
"Yes they are because of Ava" I smile gently and give Landon a smug look "As much as I like being the cause of your happiness it still needs to be kept quiet"
"Okay come get me if you need saving"
"I need saving now" she rolls her eyes and kisses me and walks off

We walk into the gym where all the werewolves are training Jed spots us and walks up to us
"Hey. Have you heard from Raf?" Jed asks Landon and I see Sebastian glaring at Jed out of the corner of my eye I raise an eyebrow confused
"Uh, he's staying with his dad for a bit. I think it'll be good for him" Landon replies to Jed and then Jed seems to catch onto Sebastian glaring at him
"Tell, uh, Captain Cheekbones he's got a weird staring problem" I bite back a laugh while landon lets out an awkward chuckle and Jed just walks away
"It's okay. Lots of vampires can't be around one werewolf, let alone this many. Most vampires can't control their emotions. The downside of all the power, I guess" landon tells Sebastian as he pats him on the shoulder
"I think having no power would be far more concerning. You know, a little blonde birdie told me that you're in love with Hope and you can't do anything about it since original tribrid here is dating her but even though you did love her you ran away because you kissed Josie and now it's awkward"
My eyes widen "you kissed Josie?" Landon rolls his eyes "That's the only bit of information you got from that"
I scoff and glare at him slightly I know he's in love with Hope and he needs to get over it since she voiced plenty of times she is not interested
"Well that was the only important information Sebastian is right you don't have any power to do anything about your love for Hope and instead of moving on to a single person you kiss Josie who's in a relationship"
He looks down sheepishly "I thought we were having a moment" I laugh out loud and he just glares at me while Sebastian wears an amused smile
"Hey! You guys playing" landon looks to the wolf who questioned us "Yea they'll play" I shake my head in amusement
The game starts and me and Sebastian vamp speed to the ball and back we quickly get two people out a couple of our players get out and but me and him vamp speed about dodging any balls coming at us. I throw the ball in my hand getting someone out then three balls go towards Sebastian and before I can deflect them with magic one hits him in the face and he falls.
Everyone seems to freeze as Jed walks over to Sebastian he gets up and stares at Jed for a second until he starts laughing "Well played, my lupine friend"
"Rematch anytime, bloodsucker"
"Well we technically didn't lose I'm still in and I'm pretty sure I could beat you all without help"
Jed chuckles lightly "Yea I definitely don't want to test that" I smile and pat him on the back and then I turn to landon and Sebastian
"This was kinda fun"

"So, you get along with the wolves. Now we just have to see if you fit in with the vampires here. Uh, we can hang out while they eat. Or drink, I guess. Animal blood, of course," Landon tells Sebastian as we walk into the eating area
"Of course" Sebastian replies with that when we hear a plate smash and Alyssa Chang is standing there next to a little pool of blood and blood on her hand
"It slipped," she says but I heard her heartbeat skip to indicate she was lying vampires next to her start hissing
"Code red. Vamps, clear out. Now!" All the vampire's vamp speed off Alyssa just stands there I think she trying to get one of us to lose control but it only seems to be working on one vampire.
"Jed, calm your pack down," Dorian says and Jed turns them shouting to them to leave which they do along with Alyssa
"Well that was suspicious," I say but Sebastian is just looking at MG who looks like he's about to lose control Sebastian vamp speeds over to him before MG can get to the blood.
What was he gonna do lick it from the ground? Oh, actually he was probably going to drain landon yea that makes more sense. Me and landon watch as the pair of vampires have their little moment I couldn't imagine being a ripper their probably the only vampires who draw the short straw. They drink human blood they can't stop so they only can drink animal blood or just kill everyone they feed from or lose control on a human blood bag.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry" Mg tells Sebastian and Landon then vamp speeds off Sebastian turns to look at us
"The witch, she broke that plate on purpose. Between her and your...budding Ripper, are you sure it is me that you should be worried about?" I don't understand why Alaric is being so harsh to Sebastian he seems like a good guy.

Me landon and Sebastian walk into where the witches hang out Landon stops us before we can walk in.
"Okay, this is the final part of the test: Hanging with the witches. Um, I'm warning you guys don't push any buttons"
Sebastian looks unbothered "Or you'll do what, die all over me?"
"It's not me you or ava should be worried about"
I scoff "They should be more worried about me"
I shrug and we walk through but not before Sebastian adds something "Will you both relax? Witches love me"
I chuckle lightly and we walk through the witches are all gathered together, Lizzie spots Sebastian.
"Hello Elizabeth"
All the witches turn around to look at us "Oh, you again"
Alyssa raises her hand showing her healed hand "I must say you just heal quickly" Sebastian says in a sarcastic tone
Alyssa looks around mockingly "Right? It's like magic or something" she returns in his sarcastic tone.
Sebastian gestures to the crystal ball in her hand "And what magic is that crystal ball for?"
"Empathic trances. It lets us read feelings that are buried deep down. Can we read yours and Avas? Vampires have heightened emotions and a tribrid would be even better It'll be a total rush"
My eyebrows furrow in confusion "a rush for who me or you to find out my secrets?"
She shrugs "So what do you say?"
I shrug and take off my necklace stepping towards her "Sure go ahead" she closes her eyes for a second and the ball glows she steps back
"I sense...fear there's a danger to you and someone you care about....and you don't want to be here you're staying because someone you care about is staying... And you've been fed a lie your whole life and you're annoyed" I clear my throat and step back Lizzie gives me a suspicious look I look away.
"I think it's Sebastian's turn" I feel bad throwing Sebastian into Alyssa's path but that was enough truth for everyone to hear.
Lizzie perks up at my comment "I, for one, would like that"
Sebastian smirks "Then of course. I do love a good parlour trick" Alyssa does the same thing for Sebastian I step back and put my necklace back on
"I sense... fear. The modern world is terrifying to you. You're afraid they won't let you stay here at the school" Alyssa starts reading the crystal ball.
Sebastian tries to speak over her "That's not true"
Alyssa carries on speaking over him "You're afraid they're gonna find out all the things you've done and throw you away, like trash off the side of a boat"
Sebastian seems to get more angry "Stop" Alyssa ignores him and carries on "You know Lizzie's better than you and that you don't deserve her"
Suddenly Sebastian throws landon across the room Sebastian goes for the witches but they all start giving him a magical headache and he starts to groan
Lizzie rushes forward "Stop! Stop! Let him go"Â the witches let him go and Sebastian falls to the ground Lizzie goes to help him but he gets up and walks out.
I bite my lip and look at the witches then I look to landon "well these tests have been fun buttt I got stuff to do" I walk out to find josie since she helping me with a surprise for Hope.

After spending an hour decorating Hopes's room it looks a bit more homely than it did before and I'm pretty sure rooming with Alyssa Chang is enough stress for Hope some I'm hoping this will help.
"Looks about done," I tell Josie and we step back to look at the work we did
"Yea it looks good Hopes gonna love it" I nod at her words
"So you kissed Landon?"
Her eyes widen for a second "How do you know about that? And Landon kissed me"
I chuckle lightly "Have you told Penelope?" she shakes her head "You should I was kinda rooting for you guys and I don't think she's going to want to hear it from someone else"
"I know I'm just scared everything is going well with us and I don't want to ruin it"
I nod in agreement "So did Nora help you with the merge problem?"
She tenses up and looks away from me "Yea but it's not a sure thing and we can't exactly test it on any other Gemini twins so it's either we wait until we are 22 and it does or doesn't work or we turn...into heretics"
"I mean it's not that bad I wouldn't mind a few more beings on my bloodline if you choose that path" I send her a teasing wink and she shakes her head and chuckles
"I'm hoping that's the path we don't have to take" I nod I'm not sure why people don't want the vampire side I'm guessing it's the drinking blood part.
Hope walks in and looks shocked to see me and Josie in her room "What's all this?"
"I just thought Alyssa was, enough of a pain so I recruited josie and we made it a bit more homely," I tell her and she smiles at us both.
"It's not exactly how it was, but we thought maybe you might like it if we changed it up a little bit"
Hopes looks around a bit more and smiles "Thank you"
"It's no problem ill leave you two too" we both hug josie and she leaves.
"So do you like it?" she nods authasticly "it's amazing" she wraps her arms around my waist and I wrap my arms around her neck leaning my forehead on hers.
"So how was the test?"
I shrug "I can stay but I'm pretty sure it was Carolines doing" she smiles and we share a kiss.
"Good"
