It's been a day I've settled in nicely I meet a boy named MG well Milton but he insists that I call him MG I also meet josie and Lizzie who are twins joise is really nice Lizzie not so much but she definitely can be funny when she not insulting someone.
It's now 3am in the morning and I've been awoken by Hope shuffling out of her bed I did want to carry on sharing but I couldn't exactly say that without any other excuse. I get up "Hope what are you doing?" She looks over at me "Sorry I didn't mean to wake you"
"It's okay" I say as I look at her waiting for a answer she seems to be staring at me with a blush on her face which I've noticed she does quite a lot when she around me "Are you going to answer me?" She seems to snap out of her thoughts "Me and Alaric are going to help a someone we tracked down" I get up out of bed "What are you doing?"
I look over to her "I'm coming with you I want to help" she doesn't argue she just carries on getting ready
We walk outside to be met by Alaric "What are doing?" I look at him with an innocent smile "I'm coming to help" he looks like he wants to argue but doesn't and I get into the backseat of the car and after a short drive we pull up to a church we all get out of the car.
There is a curly headed boy sitting on the steps "Hope?" he looks over to Hope and Hope looks as shocked as him "Landon?" Alaric comes around the other side of the car "You two know each other?" He questions "It's a long story" Alaric seems to accept this and walks to the door of the church he pulls on it but it's locked
"If you would have waiting a second I could have told you that it is locked"
Alaric glares at the boy suddenly we hear a scream "Raf" Landon says as a concerned look crosses his face "Hope do you mind" Alaric says as he points at the door she walks up to it and casts a spell and the door blows to splinters
"That was hot" I blurt out and everyone looks at me "What? it was" Hope has her signature blush on her face but turns to Landon "It's probably best if you stay out here" we all walk in including Landon I roll my eyes already not liking this Landon guy we walk in and there's a priest and a older couple standing near the transitioning werewolf performing what looks like a exorcism
"Hope shut this exorcism down"
"Silenco" she says and the priests mouth disappears "ad somnum" she does another spell and the older couple fall asleep. I look back at the curly headed boy and he looks like he about to faint I look at the werewolf "Help....me....please" he manages to get out I grab the chains from Alaric and vamp speed and quickly tie the werewolf up and just as I finished he is in his wolf form snapping and snarling at us "I think I'm going too be sick" we all turn just in time to see the Landon be sick I groan and turn back to the werewolf.
After we wait for the brown skinnned boy to turn back to human we grab him and put him in the car everyone else gets in now we are currently in the car I'm squished between the unconscious boy and Landon "So how do you guys know each other?" Alaric asks the two people
"He used to serve me milkshakes at mystic grill" she smiles at the memory "Peanut butter blast" he continues for her "Whipped cream on the bottom" he smiles whatever is happening right now I'm not enjoying "We danced once" and now I'm really not liking the interaction "We tried" they laugh "And then you moved away" she says
"Then you made a door blow off its hinges with your brain.......Do you feel like explaining that?"
"We'll explain everything...We're almost there" Landon looks confused and I enjoy his uneasiness "Where are we going?"
"Somewhere safe"
After a few moments we pull up to the school and get out "Welcome to The Salvatore School. We're your tour guides. I'm Josie. I'm Lizzie." Lizzie and joise say
"Sisters"
"Twins"
"Fraternal obvs"
"Rafael, why don't you go ahead with the girls while I talk to Landon"
"Morning, hope" they both say in unison
"Morning,Ava" i smile at them then they start to walk away
"Morning, girls" hope replies
"More like despair"
"I heard that"
"No you didn't"
"Didn't have too"
"Everyone behave"
"Love you, dad"
I'm not sure why they don't like Hope but Lizzie already told me to stay away from her which I didn't like but decided to at least be civil to them.
Alaric sigh "So.. let's get started" we all walk through the school Landon looks at everything in awe and we reach Alarics office.
"Well, I used to have a speech prepared, carefully unpeeling the layers of mystical history, but it turns out most people have read Harry Potter and are actually cool with me skipping the tee-up" Alaric starts I just tune out everything they are saying Im standing near Hope near the door of the office. I look at her side profile appreciating the way the sun makes her glow even more she looks my way and gives me a smile which makes my heart skip.
I look away when Alaric says "Ava" I look towards him and he gives me look I'm guessing he just told this boy a bunch of stuff he isn't meant to and wants me to comple him "It's okay, everything will be alright" hope tells him with a hand on his shoulder and a unfamiliar feeling rises in my stomach I walk over to Landon and look him in the eyes "Forget everything you've seen or learned since last night. All you need to know is that your friend has found a home where he can live a better life. You'll miss him. But you know it's for the best" he looks at me shocked "Are you two out of your minds?" I don't know who he was talking I'm guessing me and Alaric "Ava, did you do it wrong?"
I look at Hope with a bewildered look "No hHope I didn't do it wrong I can compel werewolf's witch's and vampires so he must be on vervain" she looks at me shocked and I noticed that I haven't share that information yet when my mother made the new original vampire spell she added some improvements which obviously I didn't mind.
Landon takes this as and opportunity to start to run off I vamp speed in front of him "Ad sumnom" I say and Landon falls to the floor and I smirk and I look at hope and she gives me a disapproving look and my smirk drops for some reason I want Hopes approval on everything I do to be around her and see that award winning smile "Get him to the cellar" I look at Alaric "No thanks" I go to walk away "Ava" he says in a low commanding voice I huff and pick up the boy and follow Hope to the cellar I place him down on the bed "I don't like him" hope looks at me "Why?"
I look away from her beautiful eyes and think for a moment why don't I like him then it hits me I don't like the way he looks at Hope so loving and like she the only person in the world I look back at her "Because i don't he's annoying" it's not a complete lie but it's not the whole reason.
I walk out of the cell and make my way back my room Penelope spots me and makes her way over she gives me her normal smirk "Hey there's a party tonight your coming right?" I look at her party? Oh yes a gathering of people "Yea sure" I tell her "Alright it's at the old mill I'll come get you at 7"
It's a couple hours later and in walks Hope "Hey" she greets me " Hey are your coming to the party?"
"No I'm not really a party person and nobody wants me there"
I frown "I want you there" I say as I look at her she smiles she's about to answer but there's a knock at the door I'm a bit disappointed but I open it and see Penelope "Hey you ready to go?" I nod at her and we walk to the party we arrive and the party is already in full swing "Wait here I'll get us some drinks" she walks away and I wait until I spot josie she's speaking with the boy from earlier I think his name is Rafael i walk up to them "Hey josie, Rafael" they look to me and smile "hey Ava" josie greets
"Hey thanks for helping me out earlier I really appreciate it" I look at him
"It's no problem the transitions will get easier" he looks at me with a smile "So what are you?" He asks this is a question I've gotten used to by now "I'm a tribrid" he looks at me "cool!" I give him a smile even though I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what that means and then Penelope walks over "Hey Josette" she says with a smile she passes me a drink and I thank her
"Satan" Josie says and I smirk I've already been informed on these twos history "Come on Rafael let's go somewhere other than here" she sends Penelope a glare and me a smile and then she walks away "I thought I said to wait" I look at her and smirk "I did wait" she looks at me in disbelief "Ok I didn't wait" she laughs
