I groan when I'm once again interrupted out of my sleep by a knock on the door I look to my left and see Hope wrap up to my side and I smile and brush a hair behind her ear.
When I have the knock again I can feel my vamp face come through I jump or of bed and open the door to come face to face with MG he has a frightened look on his face when he looks at me.
"What"
I snap at him "Mr Mikaelson wants you" I sigh and quickly vamp speed around my room and get ready I kiss Hopes on the head and I quickly make my way to Klaus's office
Klaus is sitting at the desk and Josie and some other girl are sitting in front of him he smiles when he sees me "Ava meet Finch you and Josie will show her around"
"Why can't Josie?"
"A lot has changed and since you were the one to design the schools improvements you will know it best"
I wouldn't say I know it best since I changed it when I had no emotions so I didn't really care what happened I just needed a bigger school for more of my sires
I sigh and look to the girls "Okay let's go"

We are sitting in the cafeteria and I'm growing bored really bored my patience is normally good but since this change, it's gone downhill and Josie and Finch's flirting whatever happened to Penelope I think to myself but ether way it isn't helping listening to them I'm grateful when one of my sires brings over a blood bag.
"Thanks" I take it from him and pour it into the glass he also brought and he walks away and Finch looks over
"Is he your slave?"
she says with sarcasm and I shrug "Kind of but I wouldn't call him a slave" She looks at me confused and I continue "He's one of my sires"
She looks even more confused and Josie comes to her rescue "Finch doesn't really know about the supernatural world"
I nod "Short version I'm the first vampire of my line and when I turn someone they do what I say"
"Sounds like a violation of basic human rights"
"Well we aren't humans"
"So I'm you're a vampire?"
I drink the blood in my cup and pour another my bloodlust is strong since reversing the spell.
"I'm a tribrid the most powerful being in the world" I say the last bit dramatically and she looks confused and I sigh in annoyance "I'm part vampire werewolf and a witch"
"Sounds cool"
"It's not it's a hassle especially since there is only two in supernatural existence"
"Who's the other"
I smile at the thought of Hope "Hope Mikealson my mate and girlfriend you should probably get in the library as soon as or your not going to have a clue what is going on around here"
"This is just a trial run"
"Even if it is it's good to learn about your heritage and this place is probably the best way to learn especially now with all my improvements"
"Yea where you got my dad kicked out of the school"
I roll my eyes "When will you get over that?"
"It happened like a week ago"
I'm about to speak but a smile takes over my face when I smell a familiar scent I look over to my left and see Hope walk in when she spots me she smiles and comes over I stand up and greet her with a kiss.
"Hey I need help"
"Of course my love" I look back to Finch and Josie "Go to my hybrids they are a better choice over Jed"
I turn back to Hope and we start walking "Where are we going?"
"To go collect the aritfact from Mr Williams"

We arrive at mystic falls high and step out of the vehicle I mentally groan at all the annoying teenagers that are here.
"Let's go," Hopes says as she gets out I follow her out and realize how strong my bloodlust is
"Hope I'm going to wait out here"
She turns back with a confused look "Why?"
I shrug at her "Why not?"
"Ava.."
"Hope my bloodlust is stronger so I don't think being in a school full of humans is going to help so I'm staying out here where there are fewer of them"
She gives me an understanding look and mutters an 'Okay' and walks into the school after a few minutes a human walks over to me
"Hey aren't you one of those freaks from the Salvatore school"
I roll my eyes and let out a breath control your anger Ava "What do you want? or are you here to be a waste of space if so go do it somewhere else"
Anger takes over his face and he tries to hit me I simply move out of the way and face him "Are you really trying to fight me?"
My words seem to annoy him even more because he throws another punch which I dodge easily I sigh starting to get annoyed why do some men need to prove they are the alpha?
"Last chance are sure you want to fight me?"
He let's a weird growl and charges at me I step aside and he crashes to the floor other humans have started to crowd so I can't do anything that risk exposure.
He gets up and quickly throws a punch which I catch I bring his arm around his back and snap his arm. I can feel my anger increasing he struggles against my grip and I'm about to snap his other arm but I'm interrupted by someone calling my name.
"Ava!"
At the familiar voice, I instantly let go and quickly walk off I feel my vamp face come through and I avoid anyone's eyes and keep my head down as I walk into the forest I can hear Hopes calls as I walk off.
I reach the forest and feel Hope grab my arm "Ava? Are you okay?"
I shrug off her arm "No, I'm not Hope I can't even control my emotions properly"
"It's okay Ava we will figure it out"
"You can't help Hope I need to be able to control my emotions myself"
Hopes about to speak when Landon pops up out of nowhere I let a breath put as I throw my hands up in the air
"What are you doing here?" I ask him
"Mr mikaelson sent me to help"
"Well we don't need it go away"
Hope steps forward "Ava it's fine let's just go back"
"Of course, you take his- whatever you two find your own way back have fun"
I start walking away and I hear landon mutter 'we will' under his breath I swiftly turn around and vamp speed over to him and grab him by the neck
"Would you like to say that a little louder?" I hiss at him as my vamp face shows he's trying so desperately to catch a breath but I don't let him next thing I know a knife is in my stomach I drop him and look down and see it's his knife this fuels my anger and I throw him into a tree I pull out the knife and the gash instantly heals.
"You just created a weapon that can kill you" I hold up the knife which is now covered in my blood
I ignore Hope's calls as I walk and pick landon up I hold the knife up to his neck and stare into his eyes "It seems you gained some courage in the prison world...Well done... but if you ever say anything like that again I'll burn you alive"
I step back and he drops to the ground I hear a rustling in the trees I turn to look in the trees and hear a low growling
"There's something out there"
I hear Hope cast a spell but the monster just roars "I feel like that spell never works"
I turn to Hope with a smile "Or maybe he's immune to magic"
I turn back to the monster and throw the knife at him with a bit of power and it pulges into his shoulder and he roars he starts charging at me
I quickly step out of the way of the monster and grab him by the shoulders and push him to his knees with my newfound strength I can't lie my now more enhanced strength was useful. The monster roars and tries to struggle against my grip but it is no use I look to Hope
"Now would be time to do something"
To my surprise, Landon jumps up with a machete and slams the machete into the monster's head and the monster falls to the ground.
I look to Landon with a smirk "Well done being useful mophead"

So we ended up kinda failing since we ended up breaking the artiface and that wasn't supposed to happen we made our way back to the school and I decided to check in with finch and Josie.
I step into the gym and see a crowd form around two fighting people I step closer and I see that's it's Jed and Finch she not winning but she holding her own it seems my hybrids and the werewolfs have merged to watch.
I hear hasty footsteps enter the room and I turn around to see a worried Josie she walks pass everyone as Finch gets thrown to the ground "Finch!"
Finch turns to look at Josie for a second "It's okay Jo I got this" and then she gets Jed to the ground and makes him tap out everyone cheers for her as she gets up Hed and her exchange a few words and she walks up to Josie and I follow
"Impressive for a newbie"
Finch looks at me with a purse-lipped smile "I feel like that's the best complement ill get from you"
I shrug "You won't need complements from me with Josie around"
Josie smiles and looks at Finch "Did you just make a friend?" motioning to Jed
"A couple, actually The pack's are pretty cool this place isn't what I thought it was"
"So does that mean that you are staying or do you need some more trial runs"
Finch turns to me with a smirk "Haven't decided yet so maybe a bit more trial runs"
I chuckle lightly and then smile "Well I just wanted to check on you since I was meant to show you around but was summoned away enjoy the rest of the tour in Josies capable hands"
I walk away to my room after she says thank you and once I reach my room I sit in my bed and grab one of the last three books I have yet to read once I open the book I hear a knock on my door and I sigh in annoyance.
"Come in!" the door opens and reveals Hope and I send her a loving smile on the way back to the school I apologised for my outburst and she forgave me and said that we would get through it together
I put down my book and stand up and walk over to her and wrap my arms around her "What do I owe the pleasure?"
"Can't your girlfriend come and visit you"
I smirk and bring my lips to her neck and press soft kisses against her "Of course, you can"
Hopes arms wrap around my neck as I place more kisses I feel her pulse on my lips and my heartbeat picks up having Hope in my arms is amazing but this is way more intimate and my feelings are going into overdrive.
I'm suddenly aware of everything as I focus more, the light little hairs on the back of her neck and the slight goosebumps that have raised on her skin. I can hear the blood pumping through her veins and all I want to do is sink my teeth into her neck, resiting the urge to feed has never felt this hard.
I pull back and I can feel my fangs and can see the light amber glow reflect in Hopes's eyes as she slowly opens them I take a breath and close my eyes.
When I open them Hope watches me with a smile and my green eyes stare into her blue ones and I can see the proud look in her eyes she brings a hand to my cheek and her adorable smile only grows.
"You just controlled the urge, Ava that's the first step to gaining full control over your emotions"
"Because your not annoying and I don't want to hurt you"
She chuckles lightly and drops her hand bringing her arms around my waist "Ether way it was a first step"
I smile at her and bring her into an embrace I couldn't imagine a life without Hope and when we dealt with mailvore we can start our life away from all of this.

A/n: sorry for the late update I've just got Hogwarts legacy for an early birthday present and been playing it with all my free time ð highly recommend the game.
And the fact of looking after my dog's puppies which has been hard work.
