"You're distracting me," Hope says we are sitting in the library we are meant to be studying but since I've read nearly everything in this library I have no reason to study so now I'm doing a different type of studying. How long will it take for Hope to give in?
"Well, not enough since you are still studying" my lips are on her neck and my hand is on her knee as she tries to study the book in front of her.
"I need to study" the words don't come out convincingly it comes out more as a breathy whisper and I couldn't be any more thankful that the library is empty.
I smirk against her neck "You can study later and ill help"
"You're meant to be helping now" I pull back away from her neck and look at her with a smile I would be helping but it's your fault for looking so beautiful all the time
She shakes her head lightly "You're an Idiot"
I fake a gasp and bring a hand to my heart "What did I do to earn such rude words"
"I would be helping but it's your fault for looking so beautiful all the time" she recites what I was thinking and my hand drops
"Did you just read my mind?"
She raises an eyebrow and has a small smile on her beautiful face "No you just said that"
"No, I didn't I was thinking that" my eyes widen in realisation and Hope just looks confused "Now my mother's spell was reversed I'm starting to gain my primordial abilities and telepathy with other werewolves is one of them"
"Maybe you should speak to your father so you can get better control"
A purse my lips the truth is Ryker already invited me to come to live with him in LA and he will train me to my full potential with my werewolf side and I can meet my family and I told him I would after I've dealt with malivore so Hope doesn't have to turn.
And I'm hoping Hope will come with me "I will" I turn my head to the left when I hear footsteps enter the room
"Hey so Lizzie went on the witchy wellness retreat that dad thought would be a good idea I'm going to visit I was wondering if you both want to come"
I raise an eyebrow at the words witchy wellness retreat I look to Hope and she just shrugs and then I turn back to Josie "Sure why not"

"Can you guys be a bit less touchy-feely it's hurting my innocent eyes" I chuckle lightly at Josie's words we are currently in Josie's car on the way to the 'witchy retreat' and I'm in the middle seat leaning over to be 'touchy-feely' with Hope.
"No need to be jealous Josie you can join if you like" Hope slaps my hand and I quickly pull it back with a chuckle
"I have a girlfriend thanks"
I smirk "Bring her along too" I receive a glare from Hope and I can help but burst out laughing at her glare and Josie's disgusted face.
"We are only 10 minutes into this car ride and not only did you offer me a three way you also offered me an orgy"
I contain my laughing and I have literal tears in my eyes I wipe them away and grab my book "They can be quite fun but I was only joking I don't wish to share Hope"
"Ava be quiet before I hit you with your own bo-wait did you just say orgies can be fun"
My laugh resumes at Hope's dumbfounded look "Yes I did my love"
"You two are adorable but gross"
I bring my book back to my hands and quickly flip through the pages and point at the a word "Correction we are...dope?"
Now it's Hopes and Josies turn to laugh Hope looks back at me "What are you reading?"
she says with an amused look and I close the book and hold it up which reads 'urban language' "Your language is terrible and informal"
She chuckles and shakes her head lightly "You act like we speak a different language"
"It practically is I'm lucky I caught on to your speech quickly or nobody would understand me I would have been calling you 'Lady Hope' and 'Lady Josie'"
"Oh God no"

We finally arrive at the 'witchy retreat' we all step out of the car Josie and I look around and we seem to be in the middle of nowhere Josie goes to the boot of the car
"Are you sure you haven't brought us out here to kill us, Josie"
I hear her mutter 'shut up' I smirk and walk over to Hope and grab her by the hips and gently push her against the car I stare into her eyes and squint in concentration "Can you hear what I'm thinking?"
She shakes her head and wraps her arms around my neck "Let me guess something about how beautiful I look"
"No actually..." I lean in and stop next to her ear and start to whisper sensually "...I'm thinking how badly I wish to take you against this car"
I lean back and see her face has turned red I smirk and lean down to connect our lips but stop short when I hear Josie "Lizzie!"
Our head snaps to Josie and then shift to where Josie is looking we see Lizzie standing there in white attire clothing she has her hands together "Namaste"
She bows and I look at her confused I look back to Hope who also wears a confused expression "I'm so glad you guys are here you made really good time"
I step away from Hope to look at Lizzie and Josie also walks over "This is weird"
Lizzie just chuckles lightly "Your so funny, come let me show you around peace of mind awaits"
She starts walking off and we follow we enter a open field with witches who are dressed similar and doing different activities
"This looks... great. It looks like Witchapalooza"
"Which is great, because you both could use some healing," Lizzie says looking at me and then at Hope. I raise an eyebrow because why would I need healing?
"Also no boys allowed so you will forget about your troubles in no time without masculine insight"
I see her necklace crystal turn red for a second until to turns back I'm not sure what she means about masculine insight since the only boy that's annoying to me is landon. He's gone so my life is pretty much perfect at the moment well apart from malivore but that's a quick fix once we find him.
"I bet. Everyone here looks like they're on drÕ½gs"
"It's not like that, Hope. This is a wellness retreat, for witches, by witches well... one witch in particular: Andi, She's so amazing, She's been a real mentor to me"
"How exactly did she help you?" Jose asks I'm not sure who this Andi person is but she deserves props for what she's done with Lizzie.
"Andi reframed my former, limiting mindset to reflect my emotional goals"
"Okay, I'll say it. This feels a little cult-y" I laugh lightly at Hopes words as I look around more it does seem a little like a cult.
Hope smiles and take my hand in hers as we continue walking I definitely need to figure out a Valentine's plan once we get back.
"We're just a collection of like-minded individuals, all following the teachings of a brilliant and charismatic leader"
"Right, make that a lot cult-y"
suddenly a bell starts ringing around the area and we look over and see a witch "Afternoon enrichment all colours on the crystal path are welcome"
Lizzie looks back at us excitedly "Come on you guys have to meet Andi"
"Umm I don't feel like joining a cult and I'm hungry so I'll see you guys after"
Lizzie looks at me with a pointed finger and her crystal flashes red "No feeding on the witches"
I hold my hands up in surrender and nod and she walks off I look at Hope and Josie "Don't touch anyone or take anything anyone offers I can smell something weird on the witches here"
They nod and I detangle my hand from Hopes and vamp speed off into the woods to find some sort of civilization.

I return to the retreat and I see Hope and Josie, I go to walk but I'm suddenly pulled behind a bush and I'm about to defend myself until I see Lizzie looking at me with a concerned look.
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"Okay so this is a cult and it has something to do with triad"
"I thought you were on the road to enlightenment?" I smirk at her when she rolls her eyes
"Well that's over"
I chuckle lightly "Okay do you have any other information other than it has to do with triad"
"Andi is using some sort of drug to get all these witches negative thoughts to break the trance they are in"
"Okay you need to get Hope and Josie and ill get Andi and kill her simple as that"
Lizzie shakes her head and glares at me "You can't just kill people"
"And I would totally agree with you but she's been drugging witches and calling this some sort of a retreat for a year" Lizzie gives me a look and I sigh and roll my eyes "Okay I'll subdue her then"
We stand up and I brush myself off and look around so to if anyone saw us and try to not look suspicious "Andi will be in her cabin"
I nod and walk off I see Lizzie walk over to Hope and Josie I smirk when I hear the start of their conversation "It's a long story the haiku version: Hope was right, again it's definitely a cult now let's get the hell out..."
I chuckle lightly and some witch looks at me weird and one flash of my amber eyes she goes back to what she was doing.
I walk over to the cabin and I knock cabin door after a few minutes I don't hear anyone come closer to the door I listen in and I don't hear any heartbeat in the cabin. I step back and look around and see Hope carrying an unconscious Lizzie I sigh and walk over.
Hope's eyes light up when she sees me "Ava your back and just in time for the ritual"
"I'll pass we are leaving and Andi is coming with us and she going into the dungeon until we figure out what to do with her"
Hope steps closer to me until she stands in front of me "Ava join us in enlightenment we can be happy truly happy"
"I am happy"
"Are you really though? You still carry the nightmares of your past this way is true happiness"
I scoff this drug must be strong "Once again I'll pass now you're getting out of this weird psychedelic trip or ill make-" Hope snaps my neck and everything goes black.

I wake up with a gasp and groan when I feel the pain in my neck I look around and see I'm in front of a fire with Hope Josie and Lizzie
"Sorry," Hope says and I look at her with narrowed eyes 'sorry' I mimic and rub my neck then look around I see a massive hole with dead witches around the hole.
"Someone explain what happened?" I lie back and listen to everything that happened with Lizzie getting captured then breaking Josie's trance then Josie breaking Hope's and now there will be some sort of monster to come out of that hole and now they are waiting for whatever monster that will be.
"Great," I say with a huff and turn onto my side and close my eyes enjoying the fire that is slightly crackling my enjoyment is soon interrupted by Lizzie's voice
"You're heavier than you look"
I open my eyes and look over to Lizzie with a fake smile "Glad to see you are back to your old self"
I close my eyes once again and after a couple of seconds I hear Lizzie talk again "Hey, guys. I think I figured out what Andi was trying to do"
I open my eyes again with a confused look I thought they already knew what she was trying to do "She's turning us into pandas"
My confusion only grows at Lizzies words and as she looks at her hands like there the most fascinating things in the world
"Then she nailed it"
"Okay, what is wrong with you guys?"
"Okay, hear me out Andi drugged us just one drop of that liquid that she had from Triad was enough to control everyone's minds, and now I'm soaked in it maybe that's why I'm losing it"
I groan and look to the others who seems to be out of it "I think you forgot mention the whole soaked in drugs part to me"
"Ava we are all pandas" Josie says to me with a wide smile and I can tell you right now they definitely aren't pandas I guess I'm the one that's gonna be fighting this monster.
"All of you just relax and wait for it to wear off and I'll fight the monster"
They ignore me and dance about I sigh and lie on my back and listen to them as the ramble on about a pandas after a few minutes I hear them start talking normally
"That was fun still high as a kite, but at least we're not pandas anymore"
I start to hear the hole rumbling and I stand up "Oh, unfortunately, that's where our good news ends"
I look over to them just in time to see them fall to the ground I let out an annoyed huff and mutter 'gods' under my breath I listen to there breathing and they are all still strong so I walk over to the hole and see a figure covered in mud climb out I look closely and let out a groan when realising who it is.
"Clarke?"
