"So you ran away made a deal with someone who wants the Mikealsons dead then raised the god? Seems you have been busy Lizzie"
Lizzie rolls her eyes she's been gone for a week and it's been pure bliss me and Hope have been together the whole week you wouldn't find me without finding Hope and you wouldn't find Hope without finding me. But it all came to a stop when Lizzie came back with the news of the God that is currently making a weapon that can kill us with Aurora's help.
"You could always challenge the god by combat he wishes to take back the title of the most powerful being and he can not refuse trial by combat"
I turn to 'Ben' with a fake smile "Good plan"
"Really?"
"No"
I think for a minute this god only knows about Hope and her being the most powerful being in the world. Maybe I can challenge this god actually it was a good a plan on ben's part but not a good plan for Hope I don't want her to die and Im not sure if I'll survive a fight with a god either.
I stand from my seat next to Hope and move Lizzie out of the way of the podium she butter 'rude' and sits down "I will challenge this god-"
"No, you won't"
I look at Hope who looks ready to sacrifice herself as usual "You're not sacrificing yourself again for this school this time we will work together-"
"How do you plan on doing that?"
I let out a frustrated breath "Can you let me finish I will challenge this god once he arrives we will work together I'm sure if we all do our part it can be fairly easy?"
"Thats your plan if it is it's a terrible one"
"Well if you have a better one then please share with the group"
Lizzie looks in thought for a moment and then remains quiet "I know I said we will work together but anyone who can die will not be involved so the super squad will not be involved"
Hope stands and looks at me "What about me?"
"Ummm no any mikealson vampire me and my father will be fighting the god"
She glares at me and I realise I can't exactly stop her from fighting but this is very dangerous and she puts her self in danger to much "You can't be serious"
"I'm very serious now dismissed"
Everyone stands up and leaves apart from one "You can't tell me what to do"
"Hope I don't want you hurt"
She scoffs "And what about you?"
"If you are is alive and well then you can bring me back and we will run away and live a fairy tale"
"You can't expect me to sit and watch as all my family fight"
I sigh gently and walk over to her I know she can handle herself but the thought of losing her is breaking me and I can't possibly imagine what would happen if she did actually die.
Maybe I am being a bit hypocritical but I can't possibly live without her "Ava if you're doing this then we will do it together I know you're scared about me getting hurt but it's the same for me"
I let a breath and bring her into my arms inhaling her woody scent "Okay but please stay next to me if we are to die they I want to die with you"
She pulls back and narrows her eyes "Seriously have a bit more faith"
I smile at her "I'm going to have a Mikeaslon cavalry"
She chuckles lightly and pushes me off of her "Shut up"

"So you just go there and issue the challenge and leave that's all then you come back"
I look at Hope with a raised eyebrow "Hope is an astral projection Ill be fine"
I finishes the white markings and I look up to the mikealsons "Okay I'm finshed wish me luck"
"Good-"
"That was a metaphor I don't need lick because it's astral projection and he can't hurt me"
I shake my head and close my eyes and do the spell and once I open them I see the two gods arguing about something "You know you shouldn't argue family is normally the thing that is valued most"
They both look over and I smile confusion takes over the good and he steps out "And who are you"
"I'm Ava Williams nice to meet you"
"Never heard of you"
I nod and look around he's holding a spear I'm guessing the one the can kill Hope and I become serious "Yea that's the point I'm the most powerful being in this world so your conflict is with me so I've came here to challenge you to single combat"
"Well this is unexpected I thought the tribrid was the most powerful"
"Well I am a tribrid a more powerful one now do you accept"
"I take it my bastard son informed you of our customs?"
"Yes he also said you can't refuse so let's say 2 hours from now so what will it be the coward way or the fun way"
He looks in thought for a second and I watch him carefully he's definitely about to do something stupid "I accept but why wait?"
He throws the spear at me and it goes straight through me and I smile "sweet move dude"
I look over at the other god behind him and smile "Thanks anyway this is an astral projection so see you on the battlefield"
I give him a little wave and then I'm back in Klaus's office "How did it go?"
"He has a weapon that can kill you but yes he accepted"
My worry for Hope has intensified and I stand up and walk to my room I lie down with a huff and after a few minutes I hear my door open I look up and see Hope she comes and sits down with me " I know your worried"
"I think your meant to add a but and then a reason why it will be fine on the end"
She chuckles lightly but soon turns serious "I don't want to say it will be fine just in case it's not"
"That doesn't make me feel better and normally I would be taking this a lot easier than you"
"Well I think you are worried about me as much as I'm worried about you but I know you can handle yourself"
I sink into my bed "Your right of course but this is different from the monsters that used to come to this school this is a god one that has a weapon that can kill you I can bring you back but it would still hurt to see"
"I guess you just have to believe in me"
I sigh because she is absolutely right I need to believe in her just as much as she believes in me "Okay but this is a feeling I don't feel a lot and all the people I care about are fighting in this battle and what happening if Klaus dies"
"I think it's a risk we have to take"
I found out Klaus is the one who was the anchor for the other side "Or maybe we can just lock klaus in his office and fight the battle"
She laughs lightly "I don't think this office could hold him"
I smile at her I'm happy that we can have this bit of peace before the storm and I wish it would never have to end "Come on we have to get ready"

"Your school's armoury leaves a lot to be desired"
"Fortunately, weapon don't win battles warriors do"
Klaus tells us as we look through the armoury and I roll my eyes and look around I spot a short sword and decide that's the weapon I'm using "Okay so you will distract him and Lizzie will vamp speed in and sighpon from him causing an explosion then I will lead my family and your sires and your father into the battle and we will finish him off together"
I sigh I guess this is the best plan we can get versus a god I nod then grab Hopes hand and lead her out I stop and pull her into a kiss it last only seconds and I want to be with her more but together we are going to defeat this god and finally start a life together.
"I love you"
"I love you too always and forever"
I smile at her and kiss the top of her head and vamp speed out of the school to the back of the school after a while I can hear the mikealsons getting into position.
I bolt of lightning strikes about ten feet away from me and I come face to face with Aurora "Were you expecting someone else?"
"Well obviously, where is ken? I'm not here to kill you I'm here to kill him"
"He sent me in his place"
I nod now I don't feel guilty for laying a trap "I can hear them all out there wolves have very loud heartbeats"
I smile at her and she looks confused "Whoever you sent out there has been sent to their death they will be met by the mikealsons and my sires"
Her face turns into a terrified one and I smile "What were you expecting someone else?"
"It doesn't matter ken will end them"
"Don't do this Aurora back down now..." I think for a moment about what could ken possibly offer her and then it comes to me her hate for the mikealson and why she is so adamant on revenge "...I will help you find your brother"
The spear in her hands drops a little "You are lying!"
"I'm not the mikeaslons took a brother from me too but I learnt to forgive them the revenge you seek will not help"
"You are just like them a manipulator and liar"
She vamps speeds towards me and I catch the spear on my sword "You have my word I will help you find him"
She tries to stop the spear at my feet but I jump over it and I slice her shoulder with my sword I go to cast a spell but it is for nothing "It was forged with god magic, which renders your witchcraft useless it would seem we are evenly matched"
I scoff she's not even close to my power okay I just need to get the spear off her I vamp speed towards her she stabs me with the spear and pulls it back I grab ahold of it and yank it out of her hands.
I hold the spear in my hands with victorious smile "My offer still stands but for now, I have to help my friends"
I cast a spell and she is frozen in her spot I vamp speed into the woods.

I my father and mikealsons stand in front of the ken I look around with a smile we did pretty well against the god.
"This is so cool ignoring we are standing in front of god that's wants to kill us its mikealson calvary"
I see Hope shake her head and I smile "Enough! Let's finish this"
And that's all we heard before we all start to battle the god and to be honest, I feel sad for him I can his spear and the mikealsons alone are beating him I ignore my cut that hasn't healed yet and carry on fighting I stab the spear into the Ken's chest as Elijah and my father hold him back.
"God magic is the only thing that can kill a god right?"
I hear Hope say and I smile as I dig the spear through his chest we step back and ken tries to get up but her staggers forward still trying to fight.
Hope plus out the spear and swings the spear and slices the gods head clean off I look in shock that wasn't expected.
We all step away from the gods corpse we done it and we did it as a family only few of my sires died the other lives with the mikealsons help and I'm glad that the loses was to a minimum.
"We did it"

It's been a weeks since we beat ken we had a small funeral for the losses during the battle and I sent out a letter to the families since ei felt like it was my duty to.
Me and Hope are sparing on the dock I stop and look at her "Let's leave"
She looks at me confused "What?"
"Let's leave go find somewhere to live get married and have children"
"What about my family?"
I sit down on the edge of the dock and gently pull her down with me "What about them Marcel and Rebekah have gone travelling same with Kol and Davina Freya has started teaching here and is living here with Keelin and Nik. Your dad and Caroline are here too and I'm sure Camille will keep everyone in check and your mum and Elijah have gone back to New Orleans"
She smiles we achieved a lot and Klaus asked me to do a favour of bringing back his dear friend Camille back to life who is now the school's concealer everyone has started their lives why not us?
"Okay"
I look at her with a smile then lean my head on her shoulder "Okay"
